Stitch up my heart
Stitch up my scars
Cut into my soul
Stitch it back up
Until my own mind tears it open
Watch it fester inside me
Then close it all up again
Say I'm fine
That I have healed
That I can out run these invisible scars
That I can out run these thoughts
A lie I cling to
Some days they catch me
Other days I can hide
What will today bring
I  always wonder.....
