Neeksha was checking her watch and running through the corridors towards her classroom as she was getting late for the day. Her anklet was making a sound while her eyes were on the path. But she suddenly stopped in her way. 

She looked back to check something with a frown on her face but found nothing and again started running towards her class while thinking

"Yeh ho kya raha hain mere saath? Pichle 4-5 din se aisa kyun lagta hain jaise ki someone is following me?Jaise kisi ki nazre 24 hour mujh par hain, par jab jab peeche mud ke dekhti hun, koi nahi hota aas pass me dur dur tak. Kya yeh sach me mera wahem hi hain ya phir someone is stalking me?"

She just blocked her feel before it takes a toll on her and moved towards the class where Pooja was waiting for her as Naina went out with her school friend.

After reaching the class she took her seat and kept her head on the desk to control her heart beat which was running in Olympics to achieve gold medal.

Teacher entered the class before she could be normal but still they concentrated back on the class when suddenly she felt someone is watching her. She again turned back to check but there was no one in front of the window or the door. She nudged Pooja and whispered

"Pooja mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hain,jaise ki someone is watching us? Par jab bhi peeche mud ke dekhti hun to koi bhi nahi hota hain. Mujhe bahut ghabrahat ho rahi hain.Ab achanak se yeh sab ,kuch samjh nahi aa rha hain?"

Pooja hit her head with her hand and whispered back

"Oh achaa,finally mere jasus tere piche pad hi gaye. Pagal kahin ki kaun ayega tere piche kuch bhi bolti hain, sochti hain,aur ek baat toh bataiyo tu aur Naina kya judwa behan thi pichle janam me? 

Ek ki baat mere palle nahi padti.Aur Dusri ki sir ke uper se fly kar ke chali jati hain.Tere saare Agatha Christie ke books ko aag laga dungi main bata rahi hun. Saara din yahin kitabe padhti rehti hain toh koi follow kar raha hain yahin toh aayega dimag mein, naa ki kisine mujhe propose kiya."

Neeksha glared her and said

"Bahut hi ghatiya joke tha Pooja. Hasi bilkul bhi nahi aayi mujhe. Ab chup chap class me concentrate kar."

They concentrated back on her class while Naina who went out with the excuse of meeting her school friend, was roaming in the streets of Old Delhi to find a photo studio. But it seems like her luck was not in her favour, every single studio was rejecting the photo she was showing them, frustratedly she said

"Jise dekho bas ek hi jawab 'ma'am nahi ho sakta. Itni purani photo uper se damaged.' Yeh 8th shop thi, ab aakhri umeed isi dukan se hain. Puri delhi me sabse purani photo studio me se yahi bas ek shop hain, agar yahan nahi hua to phir tum mere liye sirf ek sawal ban kar hi reh jaaoge Abhay, bas ek mystery or main aisa hone nahi de sakti. 

Mujhe tumhe janna hain, tumhe dekhna hain. Please bhagwan ji meri madad kijiye. Roz roz sab se jhut bhi nhi bol paaungi,aaj to bach gayi jaise taise unke sawalo se par jaldi hi jhut pakad lenge woh sab mera."

She entered the last studio and showed the picture to the person present in the counter when Naina said

"Bhaiya yeh photo theek karwani thi,purani hain bahut aur damaged bhi. Kya aap ise theek kar sakte hain? Actually bhaiya yeh bahut important hain ek baar dekh lijiye na agar yeh theek ho sake. Jo bhi padega cost main de dungi."

That guy took the photo in his hand, checked it thoroughly and said

"Ma'am yeh humare hi studio ki photo hain. Hum log shayad ise theek kar payenge. Humein ek baar humare dadaji se baat karne dijiye."

And he moved inside the studio to call his grand-father when he came out cleaning his spectacles

"Accha hua dadaji aap aagaye. Yeh ma'am aayi hain ek photo leke. Bahut purani hain par shayad aap ise saaf kar sake. Dekhiye toh zara."

He then turned towards Naina and said

"Ma'am aap ek kaam kijiye apna naam aur phone number likh ke de dijiye, jaise hi kaam ho jayega hum aapko call kar denge. Yeh lijiye paper yahan pe likh dijiye."

Naina started writing her name and details when the old man saw her and say

"Bitiya aap? Yeh kaise ho sakta hain? Humara matlab, aap yahan ,aap toh...aap zinda hain?

Naina who was confused looked at him and said

"Ji? Kya matlab? Main samjhi nahi aapki baat ko. Zinda hi to hun main dada ji warna yahan kaise aati?"

She then turned towards the boy and said

"Bhaiya, maine apna naam aur phone number dono hi note kar diye hain isme, jaise hi ban jaati hain please aap mujhe inform kar dijiyega, yeh lijiye."

With that she passed the paper and left the studio to reach her college on time

Music Room, Hindu College

Naina and Rajveer were arguing with each other on the very first day of their practice, when Naina shouted at the top of her voice

"Main kisi galli ke kutte saath yeh musical drama karne ke liye ready hu par iske sath kabhi nahi."

Rajveer replied sarcastically

"I will take it as a compliment. But ho kaun tum? Ms. Universe? Main mara nahi jaa rha tumhare saath kaam karne. Sam will you change the lead or should i quit the drama?"

Before Sameera could reply, Naina snapped back

"Haan hun, koi shaq? Aur rok kaun raha hain tumko jaao na woh raha darwaza. Kisi ne sahi kahan hain kutta palo,billi palo par galatfehmi kabhi mat paloo. Toh agar tum yeh soch rahe ho ki main tumhare pair pakad ke gid gidaungi tumhare aage ki please mere sath play karo na ,toh bhul jao."

She folded her hand in front of her chest and turned otherside. Neeksha and Pooja who were witnessing the scene hit their head hard with their hands when Sameera said

"Ekdam chup dono. Tab se kutte billiyo ki tarah lade jaa rahe ho. Mujhe bhi koi shauk nahi tha tum dono ko lead banane ka. Noorie ma'am ka order hain leads tum do banoge. Agar kuch kehna hain unko jaake bolo. Mera sir mat khao."

But before anyone of them could react Noorie Ma'am entered the room and said

"Rajveer for this college, for me, kar lo na. Ek drame ki hi toh baat hain."

Rajveer immediately softened himself and said

"Only for you Ma'am."

Sameera immediately shouted

"Niks lights and music."

They started moving sidewise criss-crossing their legs as music starts playing but keeping a safe distance between them and giving an irritated look to each other when Sameera shouted

"Kya kar kya rahe ho tum dono, yeh Love story hain koi revenge story nahi. Pass aao dono. Feel the love. Kya bhag kya rahe ho dono ek dusre se. Lets do it again. Music."

They again started practicing giving a forced smile to each other. After few hours when they were all exhausted on practising the scenes and moves they called it a day.

DAY-2

The day started with Naina's continuous bickering on how rude Rajveer is. She can't stand him for a second while Sameera, Pooja and Neeksha ignored her completely and said to Alekh

"Alekh ek kaam karo tum naa jaake props ka order de aao. Humein aur bhi kaam hain.Sameera  woh dekh Rajveer aagaya hain, lets start practising."

They all moved towards the centre leaving an irritated Naina behind. After few moments she also moved towards the centre to start their practice.

Like the other today Naina and Rajveer were more in sync. Their moves were smoother while Sameera got lost seeing them doing their lift where Rajveer hold Naina from back in between her hands and lifted her up. Sameera imagined Alekh was doing the same with her while rose petals were falling on them. The backdrop was showing a beautiful lake. But her dream was short lived as Neeksha nudged her and she came back from her dream land.

DAY-3

Naina was tying her ghungroo seating at the corner of the music room as today she going to practice for a classical step. Rajveer was entering the room when he saw Naina was tying her ghungroo with her full focus, a smile adorned his lips. He immediately hide himself behind the wall when Naina stood to start her steps. 

He got lost in her serene face, her beautiful smiles. The way she took a crisp turn his heart started beating rapidly. He came back from his dreamland when Alekh patted his shoulder and wriggled his brows with a mischievous glint in his eyes. Rajveer glared back at him and moved inside the room leaving a giggling Alekh behind.

After practising for hours they took a break and started having their lunch when Naina tried to move when Rajveer sat beside her but the other members including Ms. Noorie glared at her and gestured to sit quietly and have her lunch. She giving a crying look started having her lunch leaving a small smile in Rajveer's face.

Practising regularly with each other made them dance with ease. While Rajveer closed Naina's eyes and Naina kept her finger on his lips, swaying left and right like a wave,Harshad was busy in eating his samosa when Pooja came holding a pile of ribbons and eyed him. Harshad seeing her glaring gulped down his samosa gave a silly smile to her when Pooja said

"Khana hogaya ho toh yeh pakdenge aap? Kyunki iske baad humara scene hain."

She gave a tight lipped smile to him and Harshad immediately ran to keep the pile when heard Pooja murmuring

"Kis bhukkad ke gale bandh diya bhagwan ji? Khane ke siwa isko kuch aata hi nahi hain."

And she moved towards the centre to start her step almost dragging Harshad with her who started doing Naagin dance instead of holding Pooja's hand and their twirl leaving everyone in fits of laughter.

DAY-5

Neeksha was moving without noticing anyone as her focus was on the dresses which they received today morning itself when she kissed the ground and looked upward. Rajveer was sitting on the ground in the same pose with a cute annoyed face which forced Neeksha to giggle while saying

"Sorry maine nahi dekha tum aa rahe the. Abhi aise baithe mat raho aur uth jao warna jo ladkiyan roz yahan bhid jama karte hain Rajveer ke actions dekhne ke liye aaj hasenge tumhe aise dekh ke toh jaldi se uth jaao ya phir main Naina ko bulau tumhari help karne ke liye?"

And she left giggling leaving a shocked Rajveer behind while his heart started beating rapidly again.

DAY-6

Ms. Noorie who became a regular viewer of their practise was mesmerised how beautifully they were doing their parts. After ages she was enjoying some drama. After all her favt batch is taking part. She got lost in their performance. 

Where as Neeksha who was tying her dupatta started feeling suffocating suddenly when she saw Naina in a Royal dress. She was dancing so gracefully with Rajveer. Their eye contacts, their feet movement, their handhold, their lifts where on one side making Neeksha happy while at the next moment leaving her in sweats as she was feeling suffocating.

DAY-7

Today was the last day of their practise. They were doing dress rehearsal with proper set up and everything. Everyone was busy in giving their best shot. Laughing, gigling, teasing, arguing with each other. These seven days brought a new spark in their friendship and with Ms. Noorie as their guide their performance was at its best. They were wrapping up for the day when suddenly Sameera said

"Aaj shaam ko after dinner humne matlab hum sab seniors ne ek get together arrange kiya hain. We should celebrate this performance. Roz kahan aise mauke milte hain. Toh sab log sharp 9 baje milna peeche wale garden me,ok?

 Aur Ma'am please aap bhi aana. Aapke bina no celebration. Aur girls listen sab ki sab sarees mein aayengi. Dress code hain humara."

With that she winked and Ms. Noorie assured them she will join their party and everyone left not before Rajveer challenging Naina that she wont wear Saree as she cannot carry it leaving a determined Naina back.

Everyone reached the decided spot and found Sameera, Alekh and Harshad were busy in arranging a cosy bonfire. Neeksha immediately asked

"Sardi mein bonfire dekha hain. But barsaat me bonfire...any special reason?"

Alekh immediately replied

"Arey barsat mein toh aur maza aata hain. Chai, pakode, gaane aur bonfire. Perfect plan."

Neeksha and Pooja smiled hearing him when Pooja moved to help Harshad who was busy in putting kerosene oil to lit the fire.

Neeksha was spreading sheets on the grass when Rajveer entered with a tray filled with cups and a kettle of tea. He was busy in placing it in the mid when Naina entered in a Red silk saree with a simple silver border which left Rajveer spellbounded.

Neeksha immediately pulled out her black anchal she tucked in her waist and moved towards Naina when Naina said

"Neekshu tujhpe black colour ki saree bahut acchi lag rahi hain. Kitni pyaari lag rahi hain tu."

Neeksha smiled at her and everyone sat on their respective places when Ms. Noorie joined them.

Everyone was busy in enjoying. Some were singing, some were busy in clapping and sipping their teas. Light breeze was kissing their faces. Naina stood up to throw her cup in the bin when she was coming back to her place her anchal which was kissing the grasses blown away and caught fire when Neeksha noticed it. 

Wind which was creating a cosy environment a minute before, now became the reason for a disaster. Everyone was busy in enjoying and Pooja came towards Naina to hold her hand and dance as Rajveer was singing her favt song KAATE NAHI KATTE YEH DIN YEH RAAT. But everything came to a halt when they heard Neeksha shouting

"Shree, Tara, hatiye aag."
