Okay let me explain
So you know how Emma has this demon that's called InSanE...well they are having a battle inside of Emma's head because InSanE is a voice in Emma's head yet she has a physical form.
The scars and all that is because InSanE attacks also affected Emma. like she's getting hurt in the battle  so the scars and that sh#t appear on her outside of her mind
Hopefully y'all get it
And canine is there because when Emma gets in a fight with InSanE her physical form faints and canine happened to be there when she did
He saw the scars appear on her and he knew what was happening. He worried because he can tell Emma is not doing so well in the battle
