Kpop aka Korean pop music to people living under a rock is very popular and mainstream in my place and the world

especially to teenagers who are attracted to hot asians

I used to really dislike these stuff and all the kpop songs that my old friends used to shove into my face. However I think I'm taking consideration to like it..

i mean all i ever talk about in conversations is the glory and amazingness of da great land of da rising sun nihon, maybe i need to give it some space
and just get my life even more destroyed by joining more fandoms /shot

So what can you people of kpop knowledge give? Is it good? Is the fandom cool? From a scale of Dora the Explorer to Homestuck how chaotic is the fandom? What are the good songs? Is it possible that I might actually have *gasp* real-life baes?

I dunno, I wanna give it a try. (^。^)
