So a while back, we have just finished watching the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather on pay-per-view (like almost everyone in our country) and the end result just made the whole family well, like many, disappointed.

Afterwards, my cousin logged into Instagram to find some probably feel-good pictures and memes about the fight. Apparently the majority supported Pacquiao in winning the 'Fight of the Century' (pft) and it included Zedd, Ellie Goulding, Tom Felton, Jim Carrey, the whole Philippines, McDonald's, 9GAG, and of course, One Direction.

((well we only saw the post of niall but the evening news says so so eh))

I had a conversation later with my brother and my other cousin, and out of the blue I spitted out that that Niall dude supported Pacman in the fight. After being weirded out, it went like:

Brother: So that dude from One Direction is with Pacquiao? Lol he gay.

Me: Uhhhh, yeah. Dude One Direction isn't gay.

Brother: Lol who says they aren't gay?

Other cousin: Nobody, dude One Direction sucks.

Me: That's insulting to gay dudes and no, I don't-

Other cousin: What the heck dude? You like One Direction?? You suck.

And the conversation ended with me trying to keep a straight face to both of them cause I was too pissed to answer back.

There was also this other experience with watching the Vocaloid (voice synthesizer) versions of their songs and there are those kinds of annoying weaboo comments like,

"Omg they sing sooo much better than One Direction!!"
Even though the voices didn't sound good.

"One Direction is soooo gay."
Even if they are completely bormal boys with girlfriends."

"One Direction sucks so bad if only the death note was real."
Again what the heck??

And what frustrated me the most is there is actually a 1D fan AND a self-proclaimed gay user that stood up to the haters and were still beaten up by the comments of the haters, especially the 1D fan, who was just defending the fact that THEY ARENT GAY.

Ok guys, before I continue, no I am not a fan of One Direction. I do think they're cool though, much to the dismay and teasing of my annoying family. ((@Condundrumousduck understands my pain tho)) I personally think their songs are cool, and I find their recent song quite more meaningful and deep compared to their older ones and if possible, were the decent non-sexgirlscarspartybuttbadboyperfectloverapping songs playing in the radio nowadays. I don't find any news so far that they have done something criminally wrong, and I guess they're just decent dudes that sing and dance and have a huge fanbase.

But what the heck haters??? I get that you don't like Wan Direction but wAHT THA HEK. There you are sitting around and insulting those guys for no reason just because you think you're "cool" doing that??? NO

YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL.

Oh, you think calling people like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry "losers" is cool? You think labeling One Direction and any other popular boyband and singing group "gay" makes you look better? NO

So unless you have a perfectly good reason why you hate on the particular person, you can hate on all the output that they have (songs, videos, news, art, en them crap), I won't give you cookies.
