Desti: Meggy?

Desti knocked on the door.

No response.

Desti: Meggy, I know you're in there. Please open the door.

Soon footsteps could be heard, and the door opened to reveal Meggy, with tears and pink eyes.

Meggy: What do you want?...

Desti: Meggy, can I come in?

Meggy: Sure..

Desti: Look, I'm so sorry about what happened back there, but you can't let one guy get you down, fuck that guy, Finn was a liar and a manipulator.

Meggy: I know..but Beta told me..that Y-Y/N...liked me, is it true?..

Desti shrugged her shoulders.

Desti: We'll have to find out once he recovers.

Meggy nodded, as they both sat down in silence, back with the rest, the group finally got your results back.

Beta: How is he doc?

Doctor: He'll recover, he just had a few inures, nothing too bad.

Everyone was relieved that you were gonna be ok.

Saiko: How long will he take to recover?

Doctor: Possibly around a few days to recover.

Tari: That's good news.

Beta: And no bad news.

A few days have past, and so far you were recovering, you were able to walk finally. With Meggy, she hasn't talked to anyone, and she hasn't been seen recently ever since you were taken to the hospital.

Doctor: You know her too?

Y/N: Yeah, I have a feeling she might not be in the best contition.

Doctor: Go check on her, your injures shouldn't be too bad.

You smiled.

Y/N: Thanks Doctor.

Doctor: No problem, go get her.

You did just that, you ran out the doors to look for Meggy, once you found the pipe to Inkopolis, avoided being seen by everyone in the castle, you dived down the pipe and into town square, once you did just that, you ran past multiple inklings and accidentally bumped into an octoling.

Desti: Watch it bu- Y/N?

Desti: Thank god you're alright, Let me guess, you're off to see Meggy?

You nodded.

Desti: Alright, it's good to see you, finally. Make sure Meggy is alright, she hasn't talked to anybody for a while now.

Desti smiled and let you go, as you rushed over to the apartments, you went inside and find her numbered door, you take a deep breath before knocking.

Y/N: This is it...

You knocked on the door calmly, waiting for a response, but nobody answered.

Y/N: Alright, Lets try phase two..

You find the key under the welcome mat and let yourself in, you could hear soft snoring upstairs, so you went upstairs and see Meggy sleeping.

Y/N: Aw..

You saw how cute she was asleep, but you wanted her to wake up, so you lightly poke her sides, causing her to flinch a little bit and groan, Meggy said in a muffled voice.

Meggy: I'm not in the mood right now Mario...

You just chuckled a bit and put on a bad Mario impression.

Y/N: Well mama mia.

Meggy got confused and looked up to see you, her eyes widened and she tackled you in bed for a hug.

Meggy: I-I thought you were gone..is this a dream?!

Y/N: Well, let me check.

You pinch yourself and showed Meggy.

Y/N: Feels real.

Meggy playfully punched your shoulder.

Meggy: What happened out there? Did Finn-

Y/N: Yes..Finn jumped me that day..he wanted to hide the truth from you, but I'm so sorry that it had to come to this..

Meggy: Don't be.

Meggy: Because he never said "I Love you." Ever to me, it felt weird and even tried to get me to ditch my own friends.

Y/N: Yeah, Glad he's gone.

Meggy: So am I..but, about what Beta told me..

Meggy had half lid eyes on you with a smirk.

Y/N: What did Beta tell you?

You slowly nodded, and she leaned in closer to you, closing her eyes, you were shocked by what she did.

She kissed you.

You kissed back, showing your love, once she broke the kiss, you and her stare into each others eyes.

Meggy: I'm sorry for not knowing your feelings, but since I do, You're in one big surprise.

Y/N: Its alright, I wanted you to be happy, and if Finn was making you happy, I's want you to take him, but it seems like he doesn't make you happy anymore..

Meggy shook her head.

Meggy: He and I are through..I even burned his splattershot.

You smirked.

Y/N: Good, that thing needed to go.

For the rest of the day, you and Meggy relaxed in her bed.
