Luigi didn't like this idea.

Luigi: Wha?! Why?! He tried killing us!

Skully then places a hand on his shoulder.

Skully: Luigi, maybe he has a point.

SMG4: Yeah, he maybe a bad guy, but that doesn't mean he deserves to die alone, no one wants that.

Meggy: SMG4's right, I couldn't imagine myself in that situation, let's bring him.

You and Skully pick him up, not wanting to hurt his knees. Once everyone got to the bus, Both of you carefully set Rogue in the back. Once that got done,  Skully and you get in.

SMG4: Here we go!

The death bus drives off.

Luigi: So, what was it like?

Y/N: Awful, they gave me a beating for what felt like hours.

Desti: I can see that..

Desti placed a hand on your cheek, checking out the faint bruises and scars that littered your face.

Desti: Yeah..you're gonna need some treatment for that.

Tari: Are you gonna be okay?..

Y/N: Yeah, I'll be fine, I just need some rest and maybe something to eat..it felt like ages since I've had a decent meal.

Skully: Well luckily I brought these.

He gave you an energy bar. Your eyes widen and took it.

Y/N: Thanks man!

Skully: You're welcome, and if you get thirsty, I got bottled water.

Y/N: Skully, you're a lifesaver.

Skully: Of course Y/N.

Meggy wrapped her arms around you and hugged you tightly. Not wanting to let go of you for the rest of the ride back.

(5 Days Later)

Rogue grunted and woke up, unaware of where he was.

Rogue: Where the hell am I?..

Skully: So, you decided to wake up?

Rogue: Huh?..

He looks over and saw Skully, cleaning his gun off.

Rogue: Who are you?

Skully: I'm Skully, you're?..

Rogue: I'm Rogue..

Skully: Well Rogue, you're lucky we got you out of there and alive.

Rogue stared more at Skully and realizes he was the one who shot his legs.

Rogue: Wait, you're the one that shot my legs..

Skully kinda guilty.

Skully: Yeah..but your legs are patched up, I'm sorry for that.

He was right, Rogue looked down and saw his legs wrapped in bandages.

Rogue: I..appreciate it..what happened to everyone else? Are they okay?

Skully didn't want to lie to Rogue, so he just decided to get it over with.

Skully: Uh. *Sigh*...I'm afraid not..

Rogue: What?..

Skully: You see, your three other friends..they're gone..

Rogue looked down in sadness, thinking about them.

Rogue: W-why?..

Skully: I know..I know..

Rogue: How do you know how I feel? Did you lose someone you cared about?

Skully: Actually, I did.

Rogue: Who?..if you don't mind me asking..

Rogue wipes a tear away and focuses on him. Skully pulled up a chair closer to him and looks down.

Skully: His name was Beta.

Rogue: Is he your..

Skully: Brother, gunned down by your leader.

Rogue: Oh..I'm so sorry..

Skully: It's okay, it's not your fault.

Rogue looked down again, feeling shame.

Skully: You need some time alone?

Rogue: Yes please..

Skully: Okay..I'll leave you alone, come on out when you're ready, okay?

Rogue nodded, Skully turns to leave but Rogue said something under his breath.

Skully: Hmm?

Rogue: Thanks..for you know...for helping me.

Skully: Of course.

He left, closing the door behind him, Rogue then thinks to himself.

Rogue: Why did they rescue me?..after everything I've done, yet they still saved me instead of leaving me to rot away.

You were having a conversation with Saiko, until you both see Skully walking towards you and her.

Saiko: I should get going, good talking to you Y/N.

Y/N: You too Saiko, see ya later.

Saiko leaves to do her own thing and Skully approaches.

Skully: Hey.

Y/N: Hey, how is he?

Skully: He's awake, he's not acting out in a violent behavior luckily.

Y/N: Well that's good news, any bad news?

Skully: I did have to say that his friends are dead.

Y/N: Oh..that's rough..

Skully: Yeah, we gotta keep an eye on him, losing friends and family members like that changes you, you know? Makes them a whole new person..I've seen it before.

Y/N: Yeah...you're right..we'll keep an eye on him.

Skully: Good. So, changing the subject, how's the barbecue going?

Y/N: Erm..it's best if I show you..

You lead the dolphin outside. His face was beyond shocked.

Skully: What the hell happened?!

Y/N: Mario.

Skully: Okay, where is this plumber?

Y/N: In a fence with Bob.

Skully: That didn't seem to restrict him, I'll deal with him.

You watch him walk over to the two, he brought Mario out and put him in a headlock and puts a hand on a specific part of his shoulder, causing him to pass out immediately.

Skully: Problem solved.

Y/N: What?..how did you do that?!

Skully: I put pressure on his nerves, putting him to sleep.

Y/N: Is he gonna be okay?

Skully: Yeah, he'll be fine, he just needs to take it easy for a few minutes once he wakes up.

Y/N: Man, you gotta teach me your skills.

Skully: I'll be happy to train you at some point.

You all sat down to enjoy yourselves a nice day and enjoy grilled meat and vegetables.

Y/N: You really outdid yourself on this Tari!

She kept her hammer close and ready as she saw Rogue, you scoot over so he can sit down.

Rogue: Hi..

Y/N: Hello.

Rogue: I'm..sorry, you know, for being a dick..I guess I was so wrapped up in Jackson's and Finn's shenanigans, I didn't have time to realize that they're both crazy..

He fidgets with his hands, nervous of the outcome. You only smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

Y/N: It's okay Rogue, you're with people now to call friends and family.

Meggy: He's right, you're one of us, right?

Rogue slightly smiled.

Rogue: Yeah..I like the sound of that..I just gotta be nicer, don't I?

SMG4: Yeah, but we'll help you out when you need it!

Tari: Yeah!

Rogue: Okay..thanks guys..I promise I'll try to get better.

Y/N: That's the spirit!

Rogue's stomach started to growl.

Rogue: Fucking hell..that's a violent belly..

Y/N: Starving?

Rogue nodded.

Skully: Heads up Rogue.

Skully handed him a plate of cooked food.

Skully: That should fill you up.

Rogue: Thanks.

He took a bite and to his surprise, it was delicious.

Rogue: God damn! This is hella good!

Tari smiles at this.

Tari: T-Thank you..I'm glad you like it.

Tari said shyly. Rogue continued to eat, and eventually cleaned his plate.

Y/N: Already done? Did you even taste that?

Rogue: I did, for a millisecond.

Everyone shares a laugh. Saiko loosened her grip on her hammer, easing herself around him.

Axol: It's okay Saiko, calm down.

Saiko: I am..just give me time.

Meggy: This is nice, I'm glad we finally get peace.

Y/N: What can possibly ruin this?

Bob: Yo WhAtS uP bItChEs!

Everyone sighed.

Rogue: Uh..who's this?

Y/N: That's Bob..

Bob: ThE oNe AnD oNlY!

Rogue: Uh..okay?..good for you.

They decided to play with plushies and chonks.

He said while holding the Mario Chonk.

Bob replied with the SMG4 chonk.

Meggy: Well that seemed to work for them.

Y/N: Seems that way.
