When the group finished changing, the ball was about to begin. Ash dressed up like Pikachu,Serena dressed like her Fennikin,Clemont dressed like his Luxio since Mairin was already dressed like Chespin. Bonnie dressed in a cute Dedenne dress,she and Mairin went to go play around. Gardevoir watching over them.

"Welcome,"A butler announced in front of the dressed up guests. "To this year's annual Ball. This year we will hold a battle competition,where the winner will receive a Mega Stone."

He gestured towards a podium ,where a shining mega stone was placed lightly on a velvet color pillow. Many people eyed the stone, wanting ever so badly to get their grasps on it.

"The competition will begin after supper. But as for now,please enjoy dancing." When he left the sounds of trumpets rang through my ears. Everyone in the room bowed down except for us. Lucario made a gesture for me to bow down, which I obeyed.

"Please welcome prince Ali. Your host for tonight's ball." Everyone stood straight up and clapped their hands, I was a little on the edge,this is so new to me.

Prince Ali had jet black hair,a smile was on his face, and he had icy blue eyes that seemed to stare into your soul. Nearby a teenage group of girls giggled,trying to catch his attention. Ugh,it's not like he's gonna like any of us...we're not royalty.Well,at least I'm not....

"I am pleased to let you into my home." The prince spoke, "Please enjoy the dance and the competition soon."

The girls were now squealing in delight of his voice. Yikes, talk much?

Suddenly, the one who seemed to be the leader of the group shot me a glare,what? "Who are you looking at?!"she spat. "Uh,you guys." I answered cooly. The girl shot me another glare,but music echoed throughout the ballroom. "You should look in the mirror." The girl spat again,her spit flew onto my nose,then walked away to dance.

What was that all about? I glanced down and realized what she meant,I was the only girl in the room not wearing a dress or a skirt.

Whatever,trying to escape from the mobs of dancing people,I left the dance floor and near the tables full of food. Bonnie and Mairin were there,talking and playing with Chespin and Dedenne. Gardevoir was nearby,watching.

'Run.'

Huh,I turned around ,no one was there.

'Run while you can...'

Who said that? Wait a minute....
"Mom?"
'Bad things coming. Hide...'

Now worried and confused, I started walking towards an exit.Millions of dancers blocked my way,Jackson was nearby.

"Jackson." I whispered,edging closer to him. He has the same expression as I did. "You heard Xerneas too right?"he nodded his head,in relief I sighed.

"What should we do?"
"What else?run."
"And the others?"
"Grab 'em and go."
Something smelt funny, no one else but us seemed to notice. Right above us, some green gas was being pushed out of the air vents.Thats not good...

Without a word,we parted ways and tried to find our pokemon. Then our friends. But the crowds were too big to push through,the gas was still dropping,and by the looks of it some people were going light headed.

Women fainted nearby,men tried to stay conscious.But failed epically,people were literally dropping.The gas was to the point of when I had to hold my nose an not breathe.

By the time I found out Bonnie and Mairin had already fainted,everyone else except for Jackson,Lucario,Alaine,and I had already fainted. This can't be Team Rocket,no,they're too dumb. So,who?

Without warning,someone held me tight and put a cloth in front of my mouth. Soon,I blacked out.
