"Wow....just wow..."I muttered as we reached the front steps of a giant palace, it took us about half a day to get here. But it was worth it.

       "C'mon, insides the best part." Alaine told us as we walked into the giant palace. Inside thousands of people were dressed up in pokemon costumes. "Where do we get our costumes? "Jackson asked as he glared at a man in a snazzy Marowak costume.

     Alaine made a gesture to follow him, he led us over to a room with racks full of thousands of costumes. Mairin's eyes sparkled as she walked briskly over every one of them. "Oh they're all sooooo good I don't know how I'll pick just one!! "She gushed.

   Lucario walked away from me and near the window. Outside the clouds were snowy white, they were helping the people outside with the sun. The fletchling were singing, and the Magikarp were swimming.

         Something in the far rack caught my eye.

    Ash's p.o.v (didn't expect that did you?)

       After Diancie managed to save her kingdom she mentioned something about a ball with a battle contest. I would NEVER say no to that!!!!

          Since Elli sacraficed herself for Pikachu everyone's been a little down lately, especially Bonnie and Gardevoir.

      Because of Elli's 'will 'Gardevoir's been more over protective of Bonnie. Bonnie doesn't really seem to mind, but she doesn't let go of Elli's glove.

       "Cheer up Bonnie, "Serena started as we walked closer to the town, "Elli would've wanted us to have fun. Remember? "

     Bonnie slowly nodded her head, but kept walking.

     I wonder what kind of mega stone the pride will be? A Gardevoirite? Lucarionite? Or maybe even an Absolite!!!

       "Look at this castle!! "Clemont wheezed after a long run to the front steps. "Yes!! Now let's go win that Mega Stone!!" I chanted as Pikachu squealed on my shoulder.

       When we walked into the castle everyone was in costume. "Where do we get our costumes? "Bonnie asked, for the first time ever a huge smile was on her face.

       "My calculations say over there." Clemont read over a brochure a man handed him earlier, he pointed over to a random door.  Let's get moving!!!

        Pikachu and I marched over, the second we opened the door someone shouted,

   "CHESPI COME ON AND PUT ON YOUR COSTUME!!! "It sounded like a young girl.

    "OUCH!! HE PRICKED ME!!! HE PRICKED ME!! "Another girl's voice shouted in disbelief.

     "CHESPI SAY YOUR SORRY AND PUT ON THE COSTUME!"

    A Chespin ran around the front racks where we stood. He stopped and stared at us for a few seconds before remembering the girls. He sped down the hall and out of our sight.

    "Well this is exciting. " A boy's voice said calmly from the other side of the room. As if on cue two girls came rushing after the Chespin, a tall girl with short blue hair in a Lucario costume. And a short girl with purple spiky hair in a Chespin costume.

       "AHA!!! GOTCHA!! "The sound of something crashed. Chespin shouted his names several times before running back to us again.

    "HE DID IT AGAIN!! HE PRICKED ME!!!!"

  Chespin looked around frantically, then he finally made a run towards us. We scrambled to get out of the way before it was too late.

        A Lucario came out of the blue and snatched the Chespin before it could get to us. Pikachu let out a sigh in relief.

       Melody's P.O.V

     While nursing my pricked hand Mairin and I walked over to Lucario, who was holding a squirming Chespin. "Thanks Lucario." I said, then turned to Alaine and Jackson

     "Thank you so much for the help!! "

    "Your welcome." Jackson said smirking, I was about to march over there and give his ear a 90° burn when someone's voice was heard.

    "Hi."

    Everyone turned their heads, I was surprised, infront of me was Ash, Pikachu, Serena, Bonnie, Clemont, and Gardevoir. Okay.....act like you've never seen them before, someone (Xerneas) is telling me it's not the time to show them.

        "I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. This is my buddy Pikachu. "Ash introduced. Before anyone else could say anything Mairin gave off a yelp.

     "You okay Mairin? "I ask walking over.

    "Professor Sicamore told me about you!!! "She said, racking her brain. "The Garchomp story and how you saved that Pikachu when he fell. You were really brave!! " Wow......

      "Oh...it was nothing." Ash said, I could tell he was a little emberassed.

     "I'm Serena."

    "I'm Bonnie this is my big brother Clemont and this is Gardevoir and Dedenne."

    It's good to see Gardevoir's doing all right....

      Jackson and Alaine stepped in. Jackson was dressed like his Houndoom and Alaine was dressed like his Charizard.

    "I'm Melody Brown. You've already met Mairin and her Chespin. And you also met Lucario." Then I pointed to Jackson.

    "This happy little flower is Jackson."

    Serena made a face, what did I say? 

    "I'm Alaine, are you going to challenge the contest? "

   Ash nodded his head confidently, "We're gonna win! Right Pikachu? " Pikachu nodded his head.

       "The ball will be starting soon, you should change."
