Nico was sitting in his cabin alone, Will had gone to the city this weekend. Nico began softly singing Defying Gravity from Wicked– his secret obsession.

"Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my instincts, close my eyes and leap!"

He began to lift his voice a bit. Little did he know that a few people began to hear him– including Leo.

"It's time to try defying gravity.
I think I'll try defying gravity.
Kiss me goodbye, I'm defying gravity.
And you won't bring me down"

Leo began to gather people around the Hades cabin. Soon enough, almost all of camp was listing to the son of Hades as he sang Wicked. They even FaceTimed Frank and Hazel.

"I'm through accepting limits 'cause someone says they're so. Some things I cannot change but 'til I try, I'll never know! Too long I've been afraid of losing love I guess I've lost
Well, if that's love, it comes at much too high a cost!"

Nico's thoughts began to wander to Bianca. He let a tear slip. His voice was getting louder as he became more passionate into the song.

"I'd sooner buy defying gravity.

I think I'll try defying gravity.
And you won't bring me down"

At this point, Will came back to surprise but was faced with the surprise when he found the entirety of camp crowded around his boyfriends cabin. Then he heard Nico singing.

"Unlimited. My future is unlimited.
And I've just had a vision. Almost like a prophecy. I know it sounds truly crazy
And true, the vision's hazy.
But I swear, someday I'll be..."

The son of Apollo pushed through the crowd and listened intently. He was very stunned at the fact that his black-loving boyfriend's voice mirrored that of angels.

"Flying so high! defying gravity.

Nico finished his song and smiled. When he was alone, singing always helped him feel better. Of course, he usually was either in the shower or he sang very softly. Now he realized that he could of possibly been heard but recently he has been more social. He sat down on his bed and continued reading the Hunger Games: Cathing Fire. Yes, he is a fanboy– sue him. The door opened.

"Nice song, Wicked Boy." Nico heard his boyfriend tease. He smiled.

"Sue me. I like Wicked. There. I like to sing. Is that what you wanna hear?" He said.

"Actually..." Will opened the door and Nico's eyes widened.

"Everyone wanted to hear that." Leo said.

Nico backed into the corner and shadow traveled to New York City not to be seen again until the next day, when he returned in a Wicked sweatshirt and Wicked sweatpants, with ear buds in and listening to For Good on his phone.
