Luna glanced at the sword in her hand, the weight unfamiliar in her hand. She dropped the sword on the ground and lurched towards Karry, to help him fend off the obvious enemy. She felt the whoosh of wind, as she was being followed. She jumped off the ground and let her falcon wings unfold.

The tunnel was surprisingly taller than she expected. She glanced down at the fight in full swing below her and saw a cheetah not too far from her. She willed her wings to carry her up, as fast as she could. Then she flipped and dived towards the fight, 200 miles an hour. She landed, her impact cracked the ground and the whole cavern shuddered. The Night stars too close to her fell over from the force of the impact.

She stood still for a moment and felt her skin slowly change colour, to blend into her surroundings. The Chamaeleon inside her trying to hide her from the danger. She felt the eyes of someone behind her, and without thinking, whipped around and raked her razor-sharp talons across the Nightstar, causing him to back away crying out in pain.

Distantly, she felt a stabbing pain on her right shoulder. But that did not matter, the only thing that mattered now was that she focused on who she was fighting, so Echo and Karry would be safe. Still, the feeling cut deeper and deeper. She was losing feeling in her shoulder, and it was spreading through-out the rest of her body. Luna whipped her head from side to side to see what was pulling her down. She felt her body cease away into numbness, while the pain in her shoulder seemed to be getting worse.

    She could now not feel her arms, or body. But she stood strong and flipped and landed on her back, causing the Nightstar to get crushed. Luna was really light, but the force of slam caused the Night star to run away, That was a good thing. The bad thing was that the knife-like thing stuck in her back got pushed in deeper.
