Internal Compass
Luna smiles against the cold wind, blowing her blond locks out of her eyes.
She felt the yank of her internal compass inside her chest. It felt stronger than she was used to. She thought that this meant that this was a more important place she needed to go.
As she flew away from Echo, she realized that she needed to go and tell her family where she was. She slowed down and her smile faded.
Luna frowned and turned away from the East back towards her house. After what had happened to her in the past, her parents wanted her to tell them where she would be every time she went somewhere. She knew that if she followed her internal compass, her father would end up going to look for her. Killing anyone who would get in his way.
She sighed and gave a light chuckle at the first time she did not tell her family where she was. Her father was at her destination before Luna even got there.
She felt a light yank at her chest pulling her back towards the East. This was not like the other yanks, this one pulled her to face the East again.
Luna felt another hard yank causing her to cry out in pain. It felt as though her skin was being ripped off.
Her compass normally would give her just a sense of mind of where to go, not yank her and not let her turn around.
After the third yank and her third time trying to fly away, Luna glances down at her chest, at where her compass would be. It looked fine, but Luna knew better, ignoring the pain it caused her, she stopped mid air and pulled her shirt away from her body.
She looked down and saw her skin bloodied and bruised. Something was there, pulling at her, it was not her compass.
Luna froze and started to fall, she caught herself and flapped up. She narrowed her eyes at the space in front of her chest and saw a microscopic line in front of her. She was not following her compass, she was being pulled.
Luna started to panic and flexed her fingers, the dagger-like nails coming out. She slashed at the thin rope, expecting it to come apart instantly. It did nothing.
Luna started to hyperventilate, she thought she knew where the end of this thing would end up, and it was not a pretty place.
The blood continued to flow from her chest, and the bruises became more pronounced. And it hurt, a lot.
Thinking of her feet, Luna quickly called out to Echo through her mind. She needed Echo to come and help her. If this place ended where she thought it ended, she would be killing more people again tomorrow...
ECHO! Luna thought, Please Echo! I need your help... please... Go East, you will find some clues, stop at the first warehouse you see... please hurry!
Luna did not know if Echo could hear things from this far away, but she needed Echo now more than ever. She helped Echo last time, it was Echos turn to help Luna.
Okay, I'm sorry but I just wrote this chapter as a joke haha.... I am not planning on updating this story again unless it suddenly unexpectedly got a kazillion reads or something.... Highly unlikely
So yeah, bye!
