MEETING PRINCE IN THE RAIN

Y/N POV

After a long tiring day at work, you sighed heavily and reached out of the office, to add to your worst. It's raining heavily. You don't have any hope that you can escape from the rain.

After One hour

Still, there are no buses, you don't have an umbrella, and the dress is almost drenched in rain. There you can see the couple being lovey-dovey. You give them a weird look at how they can even enjoy themselves in this heavy rain. Shrugging off those thoughts, you have been recalling today's incident, which can give you nightmares if you think about it one more time.

Flash Back

From the Morning to Still Present.

As a usual day, you have the habit of getting up late to the events but at the same time, you will be there at a sharp time. Sometimes you can't judge yourself what kind of person you are. "Oh! Y/N you are GREAT! " You said to yourself.

Sunlight hits the curtain, rubbing your eyes searching for your phone which was on the night stand. Your eyes almost popped out of your eyes on seeing the time. And you rushed to the washroom to do your morning routine. Then you go to the kitchen to grab some bread and you don't even have time to apply some jam on the bread. Not forgetting to lock the door before feeding the food to the fish.

On seeing the pair of fishes, you are currently going to the dream land of how cute they are and also at the same time how they are always free without having any worries like paying the money for the flat, dress, watch, etc. Slowly turning your gaze to the watch you panicked and rushed out of the house with your necessary things in your hand.

Oh, you're amazing, YN. You missed the bus while daydreaming. You are cursing yourself for missing the bus. Not then in less than minutes, the bus arrives super fast and you flop into the bus thinking that you are lucky today. You still didn't know what was going to happen that you would regret later.

Finally, you sighed and arrived near your office, which is on the 14th floor. And do not forget to mention that the company name is Jeon Enterprises and your designation is Personal Assistant. After entering the office, you can feel a strange aura which you didn't feel before you were a bit confused why the people are rushing here and there. You were waiting near the lift and pressed the button. Then you hear a familiar voice. You turn and see your coworker. Soon the lift was alarmed by the sound and you both entered the lift. He is the person who is always annoying. You were a bit surprised that he was quiet today. But you don't know that he is internally smirking. You let go of all your thoughts and went out with him. You both went to their respective cabins.

You sneak through your boss's cabin, which is already made of glass, so you can see clearly. You're kind of relieved that she hasn't arrived yet. Suddenly, you heard the sound of your friend Jiso storming into your cabin. It seems like she is from the 100 metre race. Then you give her water, but still, she is panting heavily. You gave her minutes to calm down. She spoke, which was a complete shock to you. "One of our clients had canceled our project and the reason was you," Jiso said. Then you opened your system to see the status of the client files which were sent by you yesterday. Then you get to know that your files have been deleted before sending them to the clients. You don't know what to do. Now you are like a statue still processing what is happening. On Seeing your status, Jiso smacked your hand and you told her everything. Then Jiso gave you enough audacity and left the cabin. Being a diligent girl, you didn't give up on what had happened. An idea popped into your mind, you opened your file and also recalled what happened before sending the file.

Being involved in your system, on the spur of the moment, someone has slapped your desk. It's none other than your boss, who is around 50s. She looks very angry. "What the hell did you just do and how can you be this careless? Y/N, "she said and glared. And you were trembling under her gaze. But you know that she had a soft spot for you and she trusted your ability. Finally, she inhaled her breath and said, "Find out who has done this thing, otherwise you are fired.", with that, she left. You were completely bewildered by the sudden exposure of her words. Your tears are glistening and making the vision blurry.

You overcome your boss's words and the situation to find out the solution. And started examining it.

Now you are scanning your files that have been deleted and checking their updates for the time. Recalling your thoughts and listing out the events that happened yesterday, you went to make the copies near the xerox machine, which was outside of your cabin, and then, after reaching your cabin, you saw your so-called coworker coming out of your cabin. You inquired about the reason why he came to your cabin. "I'm looking for you," he said and left. You were wondering why he was looking, and he had now left the cabin without saying anything.

To make things clearer, you decided to check the CCTV footage which is located in your cabin. You gathered and copied the footage. Then went to your boss' cabin. "Excuse me?" you said. Then you hear a stern voice which indicates that you should come in. You showed her the footage. The expression is neither shock nor happiness. You were a bit confused.

"Anyway, Miss. Y/N you have proved yourself that you are correct and what about the loss you have made of being careless " She asked. You are feeling guilty about the loss to the company and have decided to accept the payback, whatever it is she is going to give you. You clearly explained the situation of the loss and stated that you are going to accept the payback. She knew about you and started to play.

She gave you two papers and you thought that was your termination letter. You are also confused about why there are two papers. Before opening them, she stood up from her chair and roamed around you, which felt like shivers running down your spine.

"One paper for you and another for your co-worker," she said. You blink your eyes several times on seeing the co-worker's paper, which shows the termination letter with his name on it. Now you are getting more nervous before opening your paper. You are frozen at the moment and your heart is beating so fast. The paper was about transferring your post to a new department. You were relieved and also, at the same time, you felt suspicious of her actions.

"Complete the pending task, then pack your things and get out of your cabin," she said and left. She is thinking that the game has started from now ON.

After getting out of your boss's cabin, you went to the Co-Worker Cabin. Then you threw the paper at his face and folded your arms across your chest. He frowned and got up from his chair. "How are you able to do that to me even though I have helped you in every situation to make you better?" you asked. His head was hung low and guilt rushed through him. He mumbled sorry and immediately stormed out of your sight. Multiple thoughts rushed through your mind and now you're able to leave after completing the pending task with all of your efforts. Still can't digest what has happened today, but somehow you have managed to make the situation easier by finding out the truth with your courage. Now, remember that you didn't eat the whole day.

And also, you don't know what is going to happen tomorrow.

Present

Because of the cold and rainy weather, tears well up in your eyes. A thunderstorm strikes you, and you flinch for a split second, thinking that no one will come to your aid. You give up and decide to go for a walk...

At the instant, raindrops aren't flowing above you. You were stunned and slowly turned your gaze upward, where you could see the dark, black umbrella. Then the realization hits you and you turn to see the person from toe to head. (moreover, like scanning) There's a person with cherry lips, dark brown orbs that are shining, fluffy hair, milky skin, and a tattoo on his wrist that adds the most add-on to his handsome figure. You are looking for almost the whole minute. He chuckled at your star-gazing moment with him. Then you produced an awkward smile and gestured with a small thank you. You are internally screaming inside that you have lost an entire world for a moment once you look into his gaze, but at the same time, you are feeling relaxed and have forgotten about today's incident.

Both eyes meet for a second and you decide to break the silence.

Again another thunderstorm is enough to startle and without your knowledge, you are holding his tiny waist. His eyes widened with the sudden skinship. Now you're opening only one eye and seeing the opposite couples that are burning with jealousy overseeing your behavior. They could think you both now lovey-dovey couples. You smirked at them. He cleared the throat to form a sentence and patted your head with his hands slowly in his embrace. Suddenly, you removed your hands from him. He almost whined by seeing the space in his waist. You mumbled sorry and turned to the other side. Also, your cheeks heated up with a crimson red, which didn't go unnoticed by him. But the real embarrassment is you both haven't spoken a word and introduced yourselves. You decide to speak, and suddenly everything blackout with your eyes half-closed. Finally, you feel some hot water in your cheeks, which confirms that somebody is sobbing for you and closing your eyes completely.

That's where you do not know you're meeting your love of life !
