Aaron came to the door wearing his mask.
"Oh hey Echo. Come on in." He moved out of the way and I walked inside.
"What are you doing here?"
"I was wondering if I could stay here for awhile."
"Sure but I don't have a guest bed."
"It's fine."
"Here let me get that." He grabbed the suitcase from my hand and took it up to his room. He came back down without the mask on.
"Didn't you just move into your house yesterday?" He said. We walked to the living room and sat on the couch. He put his around my shoulders and I leaned into him.
"Technically it was never my house." I explained what had happened. My the end of it I was crying.
"I'm sorry Aaron."
"Why are you apologizing? You're doing it again."
"W-what do you mean?"
"Being too nice. I'm not mad at you. It not like you kissed him. I'm probably happier cuz now I have another reason to protect you."
