*Aaron's POV*

*Flashback*

I see Echo sitting on the swing. She looked so beautiful. She was playing with f/c bear. I ran over to her. I snatched the bear out of her hand.

"Hehe Aaron! Why did you steal my toy?!"
"So you could ask questions."
"But its my toy!"
"Fine Echo. You can have your toy back."
"Yay! Aaron you wanna play tag with us."
"Okay.'
" tag you're it!"

I ran after Laurence. Laurence went after her.

*Flashback over*

"I remember that day. I met the most beautiful girl that day." I could feel my face heat up.

"Aaron..." She punched me lightly on the arm and her face went bright red.

*Echo's POV*

I look through the memory box. There's a family picture. I picked it up with a shaky hand. Shad was in the background looking pissed while Mom and Me stood in front of the camera, smiling.

"This is the closet we ever got..."

"Hm?"

I handed Aaron the picture. I continued to dig through the box. I found another picture. He loved me at one point. Shad loved me as a daughter. I didn't know... I wish i would've know the truth before it was too late. 

"No... No... I don't wanna go back... I dont wanna go back!" I screamed Blocking out my ears, squeezing m eyes shut and pulling my knees up to my chest.

"Echo?!"

*Flashback*

"WHO DO YOU LOVE IRENE?! DO YOU LOVE ME OR HIM?!"

"I can't love either of you."

"IRENE SNAP OUTTA OF IT!"

"Shad."

"YOU LOVE Y/N THOUGH?! HOW CAN'T YOU NOT LOVE US BUT LOVE Y/N!?"

"I can't even feel love for her. Shad I have no more emotion."

My dad ran into my room and grabbed me by my hair. I started to cry as he dragged me to my mother.

"So you wouldn't care if i did this?!"

He punched me in the gut. I was 13 when he did this. But what hurt more is what my mom said.

"Shad I can't care anymore. If you keep punching her, i will not suddenly care."

He threw me across the room. I hit the wall leaving a dent in the wall. I watched him strangle my mother. SHe just sat there. Struggling to breath and not fighting back. SHe fell to the ground and her eyes closed.

"Mommy! No!"

Shad came over and picked me up.

"If you tell anyone, You're next."

"You sick monster."

He dragged me up to my room and closed the door.
