Meet the Garden

The others start to leave the room while Ema-chan and Ukyo-san cleaned the dishes, leaving Iori-senpai, Kaname-san, Fuuto-kun, and Yuusuke-kun in the dining room.

"Of course, (Y/N)-chan." He smiles a fake smile and I immediately frown.

"We don't have to if you don't want to. I'll spend time with your brothers." I say to him, and a worried look appears on his face.

"What makes you think I don't want to?" He asks and I sigh with a shake of my head.

"Nothing, never mind, sorry," I said, playing with a strand of my hair.

"Um, is everything alright, (Y/N)-chan?" Ema-chan asks when she notices the tense air around me.

"Yes," I responded, smiling, "Iori-senpai, can we go?"

He nods and stands up, me following close behind, waving to the brothers as we left.

We went down the stairs and around the building before stopping at a huge cherry blossom tree with garden boxes against the walls of the house with different flowers.

I walked up to the boxes and bent down in front of Onee-chan's favorite flowers.

...Forget-me-nots...

In the language of flowers, they mean true and undying love along with remembrance after death or partings and loyalty.

In the patch, there was only one pink flower. I plucked it and held it close.

Iori-senpai kneeled next to me and looked at the flowers as well, a soft expression on his face.

We walked around a little more, him explaining each flower and their meanings.

Nothing meant more to me than the smile on his face as he talked, the way he gently took care of the flowers.

Onee-chan, I love him.
