*After making it to the park and winning the race even if he did "cheat" it took Marinette a good minute to make it too the park, Jason had a smug smile until he saw Marinette breathing heavily, sweating a little bit, his smile soon turn in to concern as he walked to her*

Jason:alright let's go to that bench want me to buy you some ice cream to cool you off?

*Jason placed one hand on Marinette's back and grabbed on of Marinette's hand with the other hand. He was being overprotective but God help her Marinette loved it, not even in her last relationship was she treated in such a way and she loves it even if she wouldn't admit it at that point. Jason sat Marinette down and went for the ice cream*

Andre:ah welcome, welcome are you a friend of Marinette?

*Jason looked at the fat...at the chubby in a cute way man, weirdly he just gave Jason a smile*

Andre: Marinette is well known in this community, even if there are a few that say such awful things about her

*Damian said his tone was completely cold and promised a painful death. It just made Marinette giggle softly*

Jason:sorry about the ice cream that man...Andre insisted on that one

Marinette:it's fine it's actually normal for him and his magical ice cream

Jason: magical ice cream?

Marinette:mh

*Marinette took a few licks of her ice cream enjoying the flavor and the fact that Jason hasn't noticed the ice cream was mostly black with 1 white streak like his hair*

Marinette:it's kinda like a local myth Andre's ice cream is also known as Sweethearts ice cream, is said to have the magical ability to help people find true love, and couples that share André's ice cream are said to stay in love forever.

Jason;i mean it's not bad ice cream, it's actually really good but that's kinda dumb

Marinette:so you wouldn't let me try a bit of your ice cream?

Jason:...it's a stupid myth but fine

*Marinette smiled and took a few licks of Jason's ice cream, Marinette placed her own ice cream close to Jason's lips, Jason gave out an amused huff but he gave it a lick making Marinette get a cheeky smile*

Jason:so do you feel any different?

Marinette:oh yes i feel like i have the powers of superman

Jason:haha

*Jason said playfully as they ate in a enjoyable silence. Once done they got up and started walking again to Marinette's apartment*

Jason:hm. I think I'll have some nice juicy 100% beef burgers with bacon and cheese thank you very much

Marinette:gross how can you eat red meat?

Jason:simple it's delicious

Marinette;it's inhumane

Jason:then i guess I'm not human, but whatever i am i won the bet

Marinette:fine fine we'll stop by the market before going to my home and I'll get your stupid meat

Jason:hey don't blame the meat because i won

Marinette:you must've cheated

Jason:believe what you want a win is a win

*Jason said with a big smile holding Marinette's bike just to be safe. What Andre said was at the back of Jason's mind but he decided to ask another time. He didn't want to ruin the light atmosphere god know how long it's been since he felt so calm and not have this feeling that something bad like a villain attack was gonna happened any second*

Marinette:tech? I think you misunderstand the Parisian hero is a Magical type hero not a technological type hero

Jason:take it from someone who's been saved by her it's true that yo-yo of her's does things no technology could do

Marinette:is there no magic in Gotham?

Selina:i mean whenever the hero zatanna amongst others show up whenever batman needs to heal up but apart from that gotham isn't really known for its magic

Marinette:I'm surprised batman doesn't use any it would save him so much time

Marinette:oh well after getting the ingredients for that abomination of a burger we made it home and.....
