Last time

*We see our couple walking back home from the doctor's visit, Jason was holding a bag of groceries filled with marinette's craving and Marinette was holding Jason's free hand. Both were just enjoying the warm air when someone came to ruin there good mood*

Lila:oh my God is that you Marinette?

*Jason instantly placed Marinette behind him, Marinette placed a hand on Jason's shoulder to remain him calm, she looked at Jason with concern that his pit of madness would take over. In front of them were Lila Rossi and her boyfriend Adrien agreste, the two people who started all this mess. Marinette got closer to Jason whispering in his ear*

Marinette:they could have someone filming us, don't engage unless they throw the first punch

Jason:fine, but I see one of them get near you I'm gonna lose it

*Jason whispered back, Marinette gave him a quick peck on the cheek then look at the people she either hasn't gotten a restraining order, placed in jail, or just disappeared*

*Everyone in the batfamily saw the smirk on Jason's face when Marinette said disappeared, they knew what that meant. But kept quiet, Marinette didn't see it*

Kori:if I may ask, why does that woman hate you so much?

Marinette:because unlike the rest of them I called her out on her lies, but everybody believed her since they wanted the fame and glory without any of the hard work.

Barbara:how bad is it?

Marinette:how bad? For Pete's sake  one of them wanted to be in the Olympics, and now? He works at a local pool as a lifeguard making minimum wage

*Marinette said thinking on the life's of her former friends and how fall they have all fallen. And the worst part is that they don't even realize it, a small part of her wanted to feel sorry for them, but she didn't. Not after all they made her go through out the years*

Bruce:if there dumb enough to believe that, then they reaped what they sold, and before you all start. My father business was worth 100 million, it's now worth 100 billion because of me and MY hard work. My family had nothing to do with that

Tim:no, but it's easier to make more money when you already have money to begin with, Bruce your rich just accept that people are gonna make fun of you for being rich and let it go

*Bruce grumpled but Marinette giggled finding it amusing that the rich boy had anything to complain about*

Marinette:miss Rossi, why the sudden ambush? Are you so keen on getting a restraining order yourself?

Lila;oh come now, we just want to talk. Heard your got pregnant and we wanted to congratulate you

*Lila said with a kind smile that both Jason and Marinette knew was fake a mile away. Jason gave them a small growl the second one of them took a step forward stopping him from whatever he was going to do*

Marinette:yeah. Well thank you for the congratulations, but I should ask how we're you after going to jail for a few weeks for shoplifting?

Lila:I would watch what you say next dupain Cheng

*Lila said with distain, her happy tone quickly replaced by a cold serious one. Marinette didn't give two coins about Lila's warning, she even looked down on her phone uninterested*

Marinette:it's Todd now, Marinette Todd.

*Even with the tense situation it still melted Jason's heart hearing Marinette use his last name, and use it proudly*

Marinette:And my oh My, you even made it to the local newspaper. You know a real news organization not like that Garbage blog your little pet Alya has, isn't that right girl?

*Marinette said with a smile turning around to see a frowning alya and nino on the other side of her*

Marinette:why don't you be a good little pet and return to your master, less a accident happen to you

Nino:is that a threat brah?

*Jason kept glaring at the group he had in front of him, was he concerned over Marinette? Of course he was, but still he knew even pregnant marinette could defend herself. Especially since he bought her a high end tazzer*

Jason;yes I used your credit card. Marinette didn't give me my own until a couple of week after I purchased it

*Jason said before Bruce could interrupt. Bruce grumpled wonder how many things did his family buy under his nose. He almost doesn't want to know*

Marinette:in my defense, it took time for the bank to send us those cards in the mail, anyway back to the story. And Bruce stop being a baby you are worth 100 billion, start spreading the wealth, who knows maybe you'll be able to walk through the eye of the needle

Marinette;that depends if any of you throw a punch at a pregnant woman. Now what's it gonna be?

Alya: please, you can stop pretending. Lila told us the truth, your not really pregnant

*Marinette had to roll her eyes, she motion them to move and they did joining the group of sheeps*

Marinette:yeah, seeing as Lila isn't the one who's going to the bathroom multiple times a night, nor is she the one who's going through the mood swings, or having hemorrhoids, or feet swellings, I'm gonna say she doesn't get to decide that I'm suddenly faking it.

*A car honked stopping next to Marinette and Jason, while they were talking Marinette just ordered them an Uber. Unlike them Marinette was not gonna fall to there level and just do the responsible thing. Walk away*

Mike:you Marinette?

Marinette:yes, we'll go inside in a minute thank you

*Marinette looked at the people who used to be her friends, after so long she doesn't even feel sad, not sadness nor anger, not any emotions really, just annoyance*

Marinette:Seriously this is the level all of you fell do? It's pathetic, before we leave all of you are grown ass adults that never went to University even though Lila over there promised you a free ride.

Alya:that was your fault! Your the one that destroyed our chances, the admissions department found my website because you gave it to them!

*Marinette just looked at Alya with the most unamused expression she's ever seen. Seriously this girl was Marinette's age and she's acting like a 13 year old. In reality Marinette didn't do a single thing, if alya could think for herself she would know that every university does a thorough background check*

Marinette:yeah, because I totally have to sway to do that being a nobody with a design blog. Seriously Alya, you think Lois Lane would ever work for you now?

*Alya flinched and scowled at marinette, working under Lois Lane was always her dream, but the girl ruined her chances years ago. And somehow that was Marinette's fault according to her*

Marinette:Remember that Alya? How she promised you a job with Lois Lane? How's that working out for you? Oh that's right it's not your working at a trash click bait website as a assistant. Not even a writer all you do is bring people coffee. Seriously, the only one here with a high paying job is Adrien and that's just because of his daddy's name, not because he's actually good

Adrien:come one princess, give it a rest already, just lift your shirt and show everyone the fake stomach

*It took every single willpower Jason had inside himself not to beat that man till he was unrecognizable, but Marinette's placed him inside the car, and Marinette started walking to the other side of the car giving adrien a glance*

Marinette;I don't have to prove anything to a coward, who knows that she's lying but it's in too deep to admit it. Now all of you, shut up, leave me and my family alone, or you'll join the list of people in my restraining order's list

*Marinette got inside with some trouble from her enormous belly, that made her feel like she was carrying two watermelons. Once inside the drove off, Jason instantly grabbed Marinette's hand*

Jason:you ok? Not stressed right? Since that can be bad for the baby and

*Jason who was more stressed over what happened then she was stopped talking when Marinette gave him a kiss. She pulled away from the kiss and placed her head on his shoulder*

Marinette:I'm fine, uncomfortable seeing as I'm 35 weeks pregnant. But fine, just tired. Wake me when we get there....

*Marinette said with a yawn dealing with her old class emotionally drained her and she was quickly fast asleep. Jason had a soft smile on his face kissing her forehead and looking at the man who was just driving*

Jason:sorry about that, uh xxxx xxxx xxxx

Mike:it's fine, I could tell I needed to get the both of you away from those people. seriously, asking a pregnant woman if she's really pregnant? The hell's wrong with them?

*Jason chuckled liking this man, Mike found a soft song on the radio for Marinette to enjoy while she rest. Jason was definitely giving this man a 5 star rating*
