*the room was tense, you could cut it with a knife and the knife would break, as Bruce gave his present to Selina everyone had there eyes on the gift waiting for her to open it. Selina looked at the envelope with curious eyes she shook it a little*

Selina:hm. Bruce I'm sure your not stupid enough to get me a gift card twice, right?

*Bruce didn't answer just took a drink of his water looking at the TV watching Arthur save Christmas*

*Selina purred and opened the envelope, everyone waited with bated breath as 2 tickets fell off the envelope to Selina's lap, Selina took it and looked at it*

Selina: plane tickets?

Bruce:a Hawaiian vacation whenever you ask I'll take a month off and you'll have me all to yourself

*Selina hummed looking at the ticket, Selina gave a coy smile and kissed his cheek making everyone take a breath of relief*

Jason: shame wanted to see you getting your butt kicked

*Well almost everyone, Marinette slapped his arm playfully but she giggled showing she wanted to see the same. Bruce just grunted and signaled to everyone else*

Bruce: they'll be no reading of the will today open your presents

Dick: alright! Let's get this secret Santa going Kori here

Marinette:wait....

Jason:don't try love, he always cheats and always gets his wife

Dick:and like i always say you got no proof

Marinette:then how about this, next year you if you get Kori you swap it with someone else

*All eyes looked at dick with smug smiles, making dick squirm in his spot. Jason's smile turned in to a grin*

Jason:better yet, why wait for next year?

Dick;hey wait a minute!

Kori:i have no problems with it

*Dick looked at Kori with a look of betrayal*

Dick:Kori!

Jason;lovely! Let's see....Tim, why don't you give her a present?

Tim:sure i doubt Damian will care either way

Damian:i will admit it's amusing seeing Grayson in this state I'll allow it

*Tim walked to Kori and gave him the gift who took it smiling she opened it and it was a brand new katana*

Kori:oh my it's wonderful

Damian:why would you get that? That's a notachi blade that's a 2 handed weapon my style is one handed

Marinette:oh? You practice kendo?

Damian: yes, I've won a quite the few awards too

Marinette: congratulations, you must've train very hard to win them. You must be very proud

*Marinette smiled brightly at him making Damian feel....weird. not used of people congratulating him on his achievements apart from dick and alfred but they don't count, Bruce was more concentrated on Robin then Damian so he barely complimented his civilian achievements,Barbara and Tim were both too busy with there civilian life as well there vigilante life of oracle and red Robin. So having someone say such words of something other then his work as Robin or being Bruce's biological son it made Damian feel....warm, but so prideful to admit it. So Damian coughed and looked another way with a slight blush on his face*

Damian:t...thank you... E..ejem now drake i demand an explanation

Tim:just thought it looked cool and you might've wanted to try a new style

*Damian nodded as he took dick's present , making dick look horrified*

Dick;no wait!

*Damian opened the box*

Damian:......

*Damian looked at the box, then looked at Grayson, then back at the box*

Damian:Jason you are no longer a disgusting pig, that role now belongs to Grayson

*Jason snorted having a good idea of what it was, Kori looked at the box and then giggled softly, Damian closed the box, he got up and walked to the chimney*

Damian:do you mind?

*Damian looked at Jason and Marinette, Marinette just nodded while in the background Jason was holding Grayson down so he won't interfere. Damian nodded back and threw the present on the fire letting it burn. Jason let dick go who ran to the fire and fell to his knees being extra dramatic*

Dick:come that's not fair! I had to pre order that 6 month in advance!

Jason:your fault for cheating

Marinette:if you ordered that 6 months ahead, doesn't that mean you knew you were going to get Kori?

Dick:....

Barbara:ohhhh you just played yourself

Damian:tsk disgraceful

*The family had a soft laugh at dick's expense, Damian grabbed his box and gave it to Tim*

Damian:merry Christmas Timothy

Tim:thanks man

*Tim opened it and it made both him and Marinette gasp, it was a extremely expensive coffee maker*

Jason:no Marinette

Marinette:but...!

Jason:not gonna happen, it's hard enough to control you when you have 3 regular cups of coffee my tiny little pixie

Marinette:but look at it!

Jason:now now, we live in paris you literally have 5 coffee shops at walking distance to our house

Marinette: exactly! How am I supposed to survive with just 5?!

*Marinette huffed crossing her arms with a fake pout, it made Jason grin and give her a small kiss on the lips. It kinda made Kori and Selina a little jealous that Jason was so public with showing his love, while dick has his moments and Bruce.....anyway Barbara wheeled herself to Jason giving him a box*

Barbara:merry Christmas jaybird um, I'll be honest might be best if you keep this in the limo until you come back to Gotham

*Jasonette was confused, Jason opened it and now he understood, inside them was 2 pure silver dessert eagles*

Jason:ah, right. It's fine i have some guns here too, not in this house obviously i have a small warehouse where i keep them, I'll just put them on the safe till then

*Jason grabbed the box and went to leave them in the safe, Barbara looked at Marinette giving her a soft smile*

Baraba:i know others already told you this, but thank you for being in Jason's life i can tell you've been such a great influence on him

* Marinette smiled at Barbara*

Marinette: he's been a good influence on me too even if that's hard to believe, but tell me a bit about yourself, Jason just told me he had a sister that understood him but couldn't accept his.... actions

*Barbara nodded and they started talking while in the background Kori and Selina exchanged gifts. Jason returned with a cage, Marinette looked at Jason*

Marinette:Jayjay why did you bring Oliver and Barry?

*Bruce actually flinched at the name and looked at Jason who was holding 2 hamsters in a cage, Damian seeing the animals instantly walked up to them taking them from the hands of Jason*

Jason:for that, Damian is an animal lover like you i thought he would to see our other two babies

*Thomas, Marín and Mar'i all joined Damien to play with the hamster*

Damian:are you also a vegetarian Marinette?

Marinette:not quite I'm a pescatarian, never could get over how animals are treated just for us to eat. For example cows, they are such beautiful creatures don't you agree?

*Damian nodded in approvement then looked at Jason*

Damian:you could learn a thing from her

Jason:who said i haven't?

Tim:wait wait wait, your kidding right?

Jason:nope, she even convinced me to stop eating red meat.... I'll admit it also helped that the smell made her sick when she was pregnant

Damian: you break her heart I'll break your spine Todd

*Damian said completely serious as he petted the hamster that walked to his hand, Marinette giggled softly*

Marinette:I'm guessing i have your approval?

Damian:yes, but now i think you could've done so much better then Todd

*Jason snorted as a response and sat down next to Bruce*

Bruce: Oliver and Barry?

*Bruce said in a dry unamused tone that Jason used the names of the 2 people that annoy Bruce the most in the justice league. Jason grew a snarky grin*

Jason;i like the names what can I say?

Bruce:you are gonna pay for that later

*Bruce whispered under his breath, Alfred walked to Barbara giving her a present*

Alfred:merry Christmas madam Gordon

Barbara;thanks Al merry Christmas

*Barbara opened it and smiled as it was a homemade sweater, she took off her own jacket and puts the sweater on smiling proudly*

Marinette;oh you look so pretty in that barbara

Barbara:please call me babs we're family now

Marinette:you got it, Jayjay everyone has given a present minus you doesn't that mean you got Alfred?

Jason:yeah i did but since i was coming here for Christmas i told them i would give Alfred a present when i came back. Sorry Alfred

Alfred:oh don't worry, you don't need to give me anything, seeing my great grandchildren and your lovely wife was the best gift I've could've gotten

*Alfred said with a large smile, that smile turned in to a small smirk*

Alfred: although i wouldn't mind a bottle of  Domaine Guiberteau Saumur Blanc

Jason:done I'll buy it tomorrow

Selina:alright now that the mood is a lot better now about we continue the story?

*Jason groaned as he hated this part. while Marinette grinned as she loved this part*

Marinette: please Jason continue i believe it's time for them to know about your panic attack
