Jason:well, your no longer in waiting, now your a Todd, Marinette Todd just rolls off the tongue

*They stopped telling the story when Marinette's phone started to ring*

Marinette:oh excuse me for a second, it could be important

*Marinette picked up her phone and gave a tired smiled  looking at who was calling her as she picked up*

Marinette: hello mother, how's the cruise? Are you and dad having a good time? Uhu that's nice, Jason is doing fine Mom, what? Uh I kinda have company, yeah Jason finally introduced his family to me, there with me right now, mom I'm not gonna do that, I said no mom no ma...and she hung up on me great

*Marinette said with a frustrated sigh, Jason chuckled as he got up and got the laptop from the room*

Bruce:I take it she wants to meet us? Can't imagine how she'll react when she finds out Todd is a Wayne

Marinette:yup, and wants me to meet and old friend of her. That woman, I love her really I do. But you can't have a normal conversation with her, ever since I let her in to my life again, she's been....pushy she wants to make sure I know that she loves me and that I'm important to her

*Jason returned with the laptop and hooked it up, not 2 minutes later did a zoom call appeared. Marinette took a deep breath as she plastered a smile every kid makes when they have to meet a friend of your parents. The call started and there was Sabine and Tom dupain Cheng*

Marinette:hey mom, you look good, love the Hawaii shirt on you dad

Tom:thanks sweetie so sorry for doing this, you know how your mother gets

Sabine:oh stop it she doesn't mind, now let me see my son in laws family I've always been curious!

*Marinette passed the laptop around so that everyone can say there hello's at the end Bruce and Selina were the last ones. Sabine looked at Bruce curiously*

Sabine:did anyone tell you you look like Bruce Wayne?

Bruce:well that's because I am Bruce Wayne nice to meet you Miss dupain Cheng

*Bruce said with a chuckle as he saw Sabine looking shocked and did a spit take of her piña colada*

Sabine:what?! But Jason's last name is Todd, how can he be a Wayne?

Bruce:it's complicated. But to make a long story short I adopted him and every one of my children except for Damian. So yes he is my son, next to me is my wife Selina Wayne.

*Selina scooted closer to the Camara and waved at them with a kind smile Tom looked surprised and rubbed the back of his neck*

Tom:well it's nice to meet you both, hopefully we can meet in person one day. Have a cup of tea and some macarons

Selina:oh yes we'll make a day of it. Now I do recall marinette saying that you wanted her to meet someone?

*Marinette gave a quiet groan as she waved the laptop to her, Selina gave a small coy smile and passed it on to her*

Sabine:oh yes, please give the laptop to my daughter. She'll love this

Marinette:right here mom, who's this friend of yours?

Selina:oh yes, remember that old boyfriend I've told you about? The one that taught me white lotus kung fu ? Well he was here on the cruise. We got to talking and I want you to meet him, he's such a good man

*Now everyone was interested, the Wayne family all got behind marinette each trying to get a peak. Slowly the man came in to view and it made every single one of them pale. Since the man who was Sabine ex, the man who taught her white lotus kung fu, was no one else then the leader of the League of assains*

Marinette "oh fuck you and your stupid cosmic luck tikki!!, seriously the man that destroyed the order and wants me dead to get the miraculous is my mother's ex?!"

*Marinette really had to force a smile. She even gave a small smirk*

Marinette:wow mom didn't know you liked silver foxes. Nice to meet you sir

Raj:likewise, you're mother hasn't stopped talking about you I feel like I already know you, and...Damian? Damian is that you? And the detective is also my this is quite the surprise

Damian:he...hello grandfather

*Damian said shocked to see his grandfather in the video, Marinette snapped her head back at Damian then back at raj*

Marinette:your Damian's grandfather? My he's going to need to beat the woman off him with a stick with how handsome he'll become

*Marinette said with a fake giggle, raj nodded with a small smile*

Raj:I appreciate the compliment on my families look. But what are they doing there?

Jason:I'm married to Marinette raj, and seriously your on vacation why do you have a sword in your hip?

Raj:hmph, Marinette dear you could do so much better then him

*Raj said with a bit of a smirk, Jason gave the old man a nasty glare that was calmed down when Marinette kissed his cheek*

Marinette:I don't know, he has so many good qualities.

Bruce:can I ask just what are you doing there raj?

Raj:why detective, even someone like me needs a vacation every once in a while

*Bruce squinted his eyes not believing the man for a second, Marinette coughed gaining the attention*

Marinette:Well it was nice to meet you Mr. Al ghul but we have to go. Maybe one day we can meet face to face

Raj:I would enjoy that I'm actually going to Paris in search of a guardian that...has something I desire. Your mother was kind enough to let me stay with her and your father while I'm there. So I'm sure we'll get to know each other all the better

*Raj and Marinette smiled at each other, the kind of smile that told the other they knew what the other was hiding. Marinette waved goodbye to her parents and cut the call with a sigh*

Marinette:by the gods my parents are far too trusting

Selina:you still don't feel comfortable with them to you?

*Marinette sighed again as she gently closed the laptop and gave a sad smile*

Marinette: there....trying there best and I respect that. But no, there's still a part of me that can't get over the fact that they believed Lila over there own daughter, and kicked me out to the streets, I was homeless for almost a 9 months before uncle stone found me and took me in

Marinette "Honestly I see uncle stone and penny as my parents more then I do them, but that's a secret I'm gonna keep to myself"

*Marinette felt Jason's arm hug her shoulder, her smile became less sad as she cuddled closer to hid warmth*

Jason:anyway, after meeting Marinette's ex....

Back to the past

*We see Jason and Marinette enjoying lunch, Marinette was really eating for 3 as her side of the table was twice as full of food then on Jason's side. Jason did something absolutely unforgivable, he took food from Marinette's plate. Marinette gasped and gave a small glare at Jason who grinned and ate it extra slowly to annoy her*

Marinette:you took my only food now I'm gonna starve

Jason:heh, sorry how about I buy you more it's on me love

*Now it was Marinette's turn to grin as she rested her head on the palm of her hands and looked at Jason smugly*

Marinette:really? How exactly are you gonna do that? This place doesn't accept American currency my dear~

Jason:shugar honey Ice tea, I forgot about that um... I.. I'll buy you more food the next time

Marinette;I'll hold you to that when I'm at the last month and I'm all fat and gross

Jason:come on love, you'll be the most beautiful thing ever since that just mean our baby is gonna be here soon

*Marinette had a small soft smile gave her lips as she placed s hand in her belly and rubbed it softly*

Marinette:yeah, I guess your right. Speaking of our little miracle we need to think of names for them. How about I'll make it if it's a girl and you make it when it's a boy

Jason:sure, but let's make it interesting, whoever comes up with the better name has to do what other says for the rest of the day

*Jason took his hand out, Marinette looked at it and shook it with a determined smirk*

Marinette:I won't lose, so you better have a butler outfit

Jason:oh I can say the same only with a nice cute little maid's outfit

*There conversation got more light after that completely forgetting Adrien and how close he was to ruin there date*
