Last time

Marinette: anyway, after that not much happened, I hung out with Jason's friends for a bit, Roy flirted with me. Jason broke his fingers for doing that, but you know nothing major after that we were on the plane back to Paris

Now

Pilot:we have now reached our destination. Welcome to Paris

*Jason turned his head and shook Marinette awake. Marinette did that cute yawn she always does and stretched looking at Jason*

Jason:hey we're here

Marinette:mmmmmmh! Good, I can't wait to go home have a nice long bath and then go straight to bed

Jason:you forgot eating in that little equation of yours. Don't worry I'll cook you something while you're in the shower

*Jason moved his head and a blush started to grow from his face as Marinette gave Jason a 'look' bitting her underlip, making her look so sexy*

Marinette:and here i was planning on inviting you to join me in the bath~

Present

Marinette:i said no such thing!!

*Marinette said with a big blush embarrassment. Jason had a smug look on his face as she did indeed say that*

Jason:sure you didn't~

Back to the past

*Jason blushed completely frozen looking like a deer in headlights, his reaction made Marinette giggle softly as she got up and started walking out of the plane. She turned around and gave her husband a cheeky smile*

Marinette:you coming?

*Jason shook his head and smiled with a huff. He grabbed the bags and left the plane right behind Marinette*

Jason:so, is one of your friends pick in us up? Since it not, Gotham is a sister city of New York you know

Marinette:so?

*Jason grinned he placed two fingers on his mouth and gave a loud whistle, loud enough for people to turn there heads and look at him. Marinette blushed embarrassed and slapped the hand out of Jason's mouth*

Marinette:ok ok! You made your point! Now stop it. it's embarrassing! And yes we'll be taking a taxi home. But, please don't do that there's always taxi waiting

*Marinette and Jason made it out and Jason had to smile form ear to ear, there was taxi yes. But none parked. Marinette gave out a hot breath mumbling something to Jason*

Jason:huh?! Sorry pixie, but I can't hear you what you say?

Marinette:just whistle us a cab!

*Marinette screamed and kicked him in the shins. Jason winced but the smile never left his person. Jason whistled like a New Yorker making several cabs stop in front of him and starting to haggle for there fee. Jason turned around and looked at Marinette with the same smile a child gets when he gets the present he wanted for Christmas*

Jason: hehehe well pixie? Shall we go home?

*Pixie huffed getting inside the cab, Jason placed the bags in the trunk and got inside next to Marinette*

Jason:so, what happened with that police report?

Marinette: they can't trace it to us, and they didn't find any DNA evidence on the clothes I gave them, we're in the clear

Jason: nice. If those two give us trouble again I'll take care of it, you just hang back

*Marinette huffed with a roll of her eyes and a cross of her arms*

Marinette:excuse me? Jayjay I can defend myself, just fine

Jason:and you're also pregnant, I love you but you're not risking the safety of our child just to prove yourself to me that you can fight

*Marinette mumbled something unintelligible but in the end she agreed*

Jason:they're more right?

Marinette:yeah, alya and nino are just the two that bug me the most, since they used to be my best friends before Lila came in to our lives

Jason:hm. I'm gonna need a list of names and photos of these people. They won't harm you as long as you have me

*Jason wrapped her arm around her pixie's shoulder and held her close. Marinette melted a little in the embrace loving having someone defend her after having to fight for herself for so long, its nice to be treated like a delicate flower for once*

Present

Dick: wouldn't an easier way to say it be treating her like a princess?

*Dick raised his hands as after those words left his lips both Jason and Marinette glared at dick *

Marinette:I'll say this once and only once. Never call me princess, I hate that fucking nickname

*The rest of the batfamily started to get tense and the closest thing to scared they can muster as Marinette just cursed with children presents. The mood went back to normal when Marinette got up and placed a dollar on the swear jar*

Marinette:....Jason why is this almost full?

Jason:......... don't get mad. I uh, well you see what has happened was....

*Jason flinched and got up instantly he fell on his knees in a begging motion as Marinette as giving him a terrifying smile*

Jason: I'm sorry! I was hammering a nail  to the wall and I got distracted, I hit my thumb hard enough to break the nail and...

Marin:daddy swore like a sailor that day, it was funny!

*Jason had a look of betrayal, and to make it worse it was from his own children. The smile Marinette was giving him was one he only saw once, when he flipped her off and pissed her off*

Thomas:he paid it both 10 whole dollars to not tell you mommy, like you did when that yellow wasp stung you and you swore up and down

Marin:oh yeah! Mom was so scared running around while she held us! But daddy was better. mommy only gave us 5

*Thomas nodded his head with his arms crossed in agreement, it was pretty adorable just how serious the little kid looked, well except for Marinette who was completely betrayed by her own children! All eyes were on Marinette who was frozen like a stone. Jason smirked and snapped his whole body back up looking at Marinette who had a growing blush on her face*

Marinette:I...do not recall that ever happening

Jason:right...so why are you putting more money on the jar?

*Jason grinned since Marinette was the one who finished filling it for every bad word she said that day. It meant the money was Jason's to spend*

Kori:I believe the expression goes, caught red handed Marinette

Barbara:in you're case it would be red faced. But man snitched by your own kid that gotta hurt

Marinette:l..let's go back to the story!....p.. please...

*Marinette mumbled feeling extremely embarrassed of being caught, she sat back next to Jason who couldn't help but have a smug smile for a bit. His mood changed to a more calm and serious look when he looked back at his older brother*

Jason:as for the princess comment. That'll be explained soon, but don't call her my lady, princess or anything close to those things alright?

Dick:uh, sure. Sorry if I offended you Marinette

Marinette:it's fine, you didn't know. Anyway, after the taxi drive home. Jason grabbed the bags refusing to let me lift one

Jason:you were pregnant it could've been dangerous

Marinette:you still end up grabbing most of the bags

Jason:hey whoever said chivalry is dead, is dead wrong.

*Jason grabbed Marinette's hand and Gave it a small kiss sending goosebumps to Marinette's skin*

Jason:What kind of husband would If I let this beautiful delicate hands carry something heavy?

Marinette:a...anyway!

Back to the past

Scene change

*Marinette opened the door and let Jason inside. They walked inside and Jason let the suitcases on the table*

Marinette:I should probably make you a spare key made.now that I'm thinking about it, I should always add you to the phone plan amongst other things

Jason:cool. What about the wifi password?

*Marinette froze and started sweating. Jason gave her a playful glare*

Marinette:......

Jason:the wifi password is included right?

Marinette:.................

*Marinette started walking fast to the bathroom with Jason follow behind her*

Jason:hey hey Mari come on! You can trust me!

*Marinette started to run giggling. Jason smirked and ran after her letting her win. He did not let Marinette win she won all on her own. She won because Jason slowed down just enough to keep the chase alive. Marinette made it to the bathroom and locked the door*

Marinette:sorry Jayjay, I can't hear you! How about you start with dinner?!

*Jason chuckled shaking his head as he went to the living room, he walked to the CD radio and looked at Marinette's collection*

Jason:huh, looks like we like some of the same artists, cool

*Jason said to himself grabbing a CD and inserted it on the device, the song started to play it*

Jason:She told me put my heart in the bag  And nobody gets hurt, Now I'm running from her love, I'm not fast So I'm making it worse  Now I'm digging up a grave, from my past I'm a whole different person
It's a gift and a curse But I cannot reverse it

*Jason Sang bopping his head to the music as he went to the kitchen to start dinner, he turned his head and couldn't help but smile as a picture of him and Marinette was stuck to the fridge. As cheesy as it sounds every word is the truth*

Jason: heh, guess this is what it feels like to be home...

*Jason said to himself with a soft smile as he finally felt like he belonged somewhere, like he wasn't just a moocher. He felt happy and come hell or high water he's gonna protect this happiness with his life*
