*Damian said in disgust. Marinette snorted at him as she was trying not to laugh*

Marinette:you remind me so much of her. She has the same reaction on anyone that uses the Japanese style blades and fighting styles

Damian:where is this....thing now?

Marinette:in New York with her wife probably having a miserable time dealing with Chloe's mother

Jason:oh God that woman what a piece of work she is

*Jason said groaning remembering the few times he met her*

Bruce:that bad?

Jason:twice as bad as anyone in Gotham since she actually has the skills to back up her entitlement.

Marinette: As much as i don't like her she's fantastic at what she does

Jason:I'm shock did you finally forgive her? Since last time you say as much as you want to kill her

*Jason said chuckling as Marinette huffed crossing her arms*

Marinette:yeah no.

Barbara:what did you do?

Marinette:she tried to steal Jason for Chloe since she doesn't approve Chloe being with Kagami

Selina:oh poor baby, so I'm guessing things are better now? I mean they did go to visit her for Christmas

Marinette:things are....calmer now. Audrey still doesn't like it but she's come to accept it and tolerate it

Jason;yeah because if she didn't stop her husband would file for divorce and bye bye luxury life

Marinette:anyway we got of topic. She's in New York she'll be here in a few days since she's doing Christmas in New York but new years here. That reminds me what are you all doing for new years?

*Jason groaned seeing how exited Bruce and dick got already feeling the headache*

Bruce:well i don't see why we couldn't extend our vacation another week or two will give me more time to spend with the grandchildren that were taken from me

Bruce:one grandchild is not nearly enough

Jason:you heard him dick make him more grandbabies so he'll leave me alone

Marinette:oh Jason stop being so...well you, we would be more then happy if you guys stayed longer it would give us a chance to get to know each other and for you all to get to know your new family members

*Marinette said smiling brightly, Jason just slumped down on the couch knowing he lost this one*

Jason:fine but they ain't staying here we don't have the room

Bruce:deal. Now Marinette please continue the tale of how my son got what he deserved

*Marinette just giggled and her and jason continued*

Flashback

*Jason was running away from Kagami who giving she was an athlete was actually gaining on him, Jason took a corner and Kagami grinned from ear to ear since when she turned the corner she saw Jason trapped since there was a huge wall he couldn't jump over*

Kagami: prepare to die you filthy peasant...

*Kagami said walking towards him, Jason sighed seeing no other choice he got in to fighting position. Just as the two were about to come in to blows a figure jumped in between them. Kagami was wrapped in a yo-yo*

Ladybug:stop!

*Both stopped and looked at a very annoyed looking ladybug the hero of Paris*

Ladybug:Kagami what did we talk about last time?

Kagami:.....i can't kill people just because they did something awful to my friend...

*Kagami muttered bitterly as if she was a child being punished*

Kagami:but ladybug he deserves death!

Ladybug:like the man who gave pickles to your friend when she asked for no pickles?

Kagami:that's different! He got my friend pregnant! He defiled her!

Jason;and I'm taking responsibility, i married her, I'm trying to be a good husband and father over here

Kagami:you don't get to talk you miscreant!

Ladybug:gods I'm so glad i killed hawkmoth right now. Kagami go home

Kagami:but!

*Kagami flinched when ladybug Gave her a look that she knew full well. Kagami muttered some cursed words in Japanese and walked away but not before sending Jason an angry glare*

Jason:uh thanks ladybug

Ladybug:it's my pleasure, your lucky i was around the area Paris is a big city

Jason:uh sure

*Ladybug nodded and left. Jason saw ladybug use her yo-yo like a grappling hook and swing away like some kind of spider girl*

Jason:a person with the powers of a spider....god that's stupid

*Jason said chuckling to himself not knowing the new trouble he will face in a few seconds. Jason walked out of the alleyway and looked around*

Jason:.  .  .sugar honey ice tea, i think I'm lost

3 hours later

*Jason somehow managed to find his way back to Marinette's home and walked inside seeing her and Chloe talking. They looked at him and then went right back to talking*

Jason;oh yes, don't worry about me I'm just fine

Marinette; your not bleeding or limping she didn't do anything to you

Chloe:not like that poor service worker that forgot your drink

*Marinette and Chloe shivered at the memory making Jason roll his eyes and crash on the armchair mentally tired*

Jason:please tell me your other friends are normal?

Marinette:they are don't worry Kagami is just... extremely overprotective since she's.....

*Marinette clamped up making Chloe glare at her with an angry smile*

Chloe: she's what? Marinette? What exactly is she for you? Not a best friend right? Since I'm obviously your best friend

*Chloe said her smile becoming more and more scary by the second. Marinette looked at Jason for salvation but he conveniently was looking the other way*

Marinette:she's...the oldest friend i have, you know she never believed in Lila's lies and always stayed by my side

*Marinette laughed awkwardly hoping Chloe would accept that statement. Chloe huffed crossing her arms*

Chloe: ridiculous utterly ridiculous I've known you since before she was even in this country

Marinette:you really want to open that can of worms?

Chloe:.....touche. but if anyone your best friend it's me, not Kagami and certainly not juleka

Marinette:yes Chloe can we please get off this?

Chloe:fine but don't think this is over. Anyway i should go if the boy toy is alive means that Kagami is angry which is....fun especially in the bedroom

*Chloe said with a smirk that made Marinette roll her eyes and push her playfully*

Marinette:gods i don't need to know about your love life Chlo

Chloe:oh but i had to hear about how big boy toy was?

*Marinette blushed looking mortified while Jason busted up laughing as Chloe walked away waving goodbye at Marinette dismissively*

Chloe:whatever call me when you tell the rest of the group Chao

Jason:so.....

Marinette;nope!

*Marinette got up and walked away with Jason walking behind her*

Jason:no no no. What did you tell her?

Marinette:it was about your height happy?

Jason:my height? She mention love life and in that conversation you mention my height

Marinette; yes and if you don't stop with that smug smile I'll make sure you lose 2 inches and I'm not talking about your height this time

*Marinette was grumbling something in French that she thought only Jason could understand, color her even more embarrassed when the batfamily laughed at her comment*

Marinette:you all know French?!

Bruce:we studied a number of different languages I'm the highest since i know over 40 of them while Jason was the laziest and stoped after 10

Jason:I know like 7 or 8 since i just didn't care i must've forgotten a few languages but the main one i know and the most important is french

Selina:yes yes you all know many languages good for you but we're forgetting a very important thing

*Selina looked at Marinette and then smile completely innocently*

Selina:so you were talking about height huh?

*Marinette blushed furiously as she stuttered trying and failing to find some excuse that saves her dignity. All the while Jason was laughing again remembering that day. Marinette started to shake him*

Marinette; don't just laugh tell them i was talking about your height. Tell them!

Jason:well it was certainly about how tall something is

*Jason blocked punches from Marinette which just made him laugh even louder, he ended up hugging her tightly and kissing her to calm her down*

Jason: better?

*Jason winced and fell to his knees as Marinette kneed him right in the groin. Marinette looked at him smiling innocently*

Marinette;yes, so much better

Damian:at some cosmic level you deserved it

Jason:shut up you little gremlin...

*Jason said in a slightly high pitched voice as Marinette rubbed his back holding her own laughter. Selina was looking at Bruce with a smirk who coincidentally placed a pillow over his family jewls just to be safe*

Selina:cute. Well Marinette while Jason rest his one eye snake why don't you continue

Marinette:oh sure! So after meeting my best friend Kagami and my other friend Chloe. Jason cooked for me we ate and went back on making the suit. After that day our routine continued with nothing big happening until the end of the month....
