1 what inspired the idea of your story? 

Partially my friends intense fear of clowns, known as Coulrophobia, and my want to write a story that tested if Coulrophobia was actually a justified fear, like if clowns can be deeply feared by a large group of people.

2 what was something you struggled with your for your story?

In the beginning it was dialogue but that sort of evened out as the story went on.

 3 what has been the overall response of your story been from your readers? 

That it's extremely scary, and that people do not recommend reading it at night.

4 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

My ability to shock myself and morph my main characters actions into whatever warped things I choose.

 5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series? 

I've been considering a sequel but for now I feel like it will end up only being a stand-alone.

6 what would you like readers to take away from your story?

The fact that an antagonist is just a misunderstood protagonist of their own story, as well as how to enjoy Horror as a genre.

 7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their stories? 

Do not update if you don't have the drive to, otherwise you won't put out content that you feel is good enough later on. Go with the flow and write how your mind feels is best.

8 does the main character share any similarities to yourself?

This depends, because depending on the type of reader you are in the story (whether you support the antagonist or protagonist) either one could be the main character.

My main character, whose name is part of the title, shares no similarities to me, while the child main character of the story shares many similarities to me in terms of how he conveys his emotions, which is by keeping them to himself. 

 9 what is something of your story, you believe would draw in new readers?

The fact that by the first chapter, they can easily tell it won't be like how they expect. There are so many unexpected twists and turns that make the story unique (opinion of my current readers)

 10 do you have any future projects?

Yes, two actually, but I'd like to keep them as surprises until they actually come out, which will hopefully be some time midyear or earlier
