1 what inspired the idea of your story?

Initially I was inspired by the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas, but also by the live action Beauty and the Beast movie coming out! It was the perfect storm.

 2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

Initially I found it difficult to find Lilia's voice instead of the character in my first book whom I was so familiar with writing. I got it eventually though! Sweet and sassy.

 3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

I most enjoyed building up the romance and adding hints and whispers here and there, all the way until the final chapter.

 4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

I've been so honored that my readers seem to love it and are wanting a sequel! The support and positive feedback has been overwhelming and I am so grateful.

 5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

Currently Ice Dragon is a stand alone, but I have entertained the idea of a companion novel or sequel as a NaNoWriMo project.

 6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story? 

I would like readers to take away that love conquers all and that stories have their own kind of magic.

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story? 

Create a pinterest board and a music playlist catered to your story!

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

We're both blonde!

 9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers? 

It's a fun twist on a classic fairytale with less singing and more starlight. I hope that readers would be drawn in by the beautiful cover and stay for the inviting story.

10 do you have any future projects?

Yes! I am currently rewriting my first book, Fire and Stone, and hope to publish it back to wattpad by the end of this year. Stay tuned!
