1. What's your community title?

Our community is The Script Society, because we were inspired by the beauty of ancient languages and scripts. All of our books are actually named after scripts or words of ancient languages.

2. Why was your community established?

One of our founders, Winnie, wanted to build and create a community of her own. But being a little hesitant, she asked about it anonymously in another community's server. One of our other founders, Paddie, saw her message and offered to help out. And from there, Script Society was born.

3. When was your community established?

At the time of writing, Script Society is just over a year old! The community was launched in late August of 2020.

4. What does your community offer?

We are an awards and contests based community. We try to consistently have some sort of event running. Currently, we have the Littérateur's Prompt Contest which is a biweekly prompt response contest where people write responses to different prompts every two weeks.

As for shops, we currently have Kannada Script Reviews Shop, Lao Script Graphics Shop, and Lontara Script Edits Shop. We also have two other shops in the works to be released soon. For services, we have Kalinga Script Book Club and Diurna Times. Diurna Times doubles as our book promotion area as we have a Wattpad Book Recommendations column and an Interview column. 

5. Why should someone consider joining the community?

 I think we're a fun group of people. We're very supportive of each other, and someone's always there if you need to talk. We're also hiring for a bunch of different positions, especially reviewers if you're interested in that. As well, we love promoting internally. If we see that you're doing a great job and are interested in a management role, we will try to promote you from within.
