1 what is your favorite story?

It's hard to choose a favorite story! Hold Me Close was the first I wrote, and I projected some experiences into it. Not only do I identify with it, I love the characters I created for this series. That's my first instinct, but one of my favorite tropes is childhood sweethearts with a second chance, and I've written multiple.

2 Are you still surprise when you get a new vote, follow or comment?

Comments and votes give authors life on Wattpad, and help our stories gain exposure. Thank you to all who take the time to do so! You bet I'm still shocked when somebody I don't know loves and reads my stories. I've worked incredibly hard to become a better critical writer, and am pulling some of my stories down to rewrite. Even though I've put a lot of care into crafting them, it's hard to describe how it feels when readers fall in love with my characters.

3 What is one wattpad goal?

I'm pretty close to 100k reads on my book baby Hold Me Close, and I'm excited to reach that milestone. Small potatoes compared to others, but not to me! My Wattpad goal is to finish the damn things I start.

4 What is a good piece of writing advice?
Read your text out loud to proofread. Don't use the same sentence starters, check your tense is the same the whole way through, use action beats instead of adverbs, and research how to use active vs. passive voice. Also, remember it's supposed to be fun, so don't put too much pressure on yourself.

5 What is a song you enjoy? Who is the artist?

I'm a big-time Swiftie, and love the Folklore and Evermore albums so very much. She's an incredible storyteller, and she knocked it out of the park with her sonically cohesive concept.

6 What is your favorite holiday and why?

 Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Some of my favorite foods, and much less stressful than Christmas.

7 What's your favorite movie?

Picking a favorite movie is difficult! I love comedies, the MCU, romance, suspense... I'm going to pick either Wayne's World or The Holiday.

8 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb, who would you choose and what would you do?

Emma Stone seems like she'd be a lot of fun to hang out with. We could drink margaritas and people-watch.

9 who is your favorite author? 

I fell in love with Sarah Dessen when I was younger, and now I'm a Colleen Hoover fan. Romcoms and drama are my jam!

10 What is the best way to handle a bully?

I tell my kids the best way to handle a bully is to laugh it off and tell them what they're doing is weird. It definitely won't work in every situation, but I want them to laugh things off instead of feeling horrible when teased. Though that clearly wouldn't work for a sociopath.
