1 what's your favorite snack?

My favourite snack is roll. Though, I'm a vegetarian so obviously veg roll.

2 what inspired you to write?

 I have been a writer since I was nine years old almost, so it would be hard to say what acted as the stimulus. But, I recently took up writing really sincerely because I want to highlight various social issues. Our system is rigged and there are few topics that need attention. And we all know a pen is mightier than the sword.

3 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?

 I do not have any favourite celeb, never had but given an option, I'll probably choose Lady Gaga because I like her song lyrics. There was a point in time, when her songs were powerful and conveyed deep meanings. Again, I would just prefer some solitude with her and discuss the events that had triggered or trigger those mighty words, her songs evoke deep emotions and unconveyed feelings.

4 what's the best way to handle a bully?

 There was a point in time when I was prone to judgements. I haven't ever been bullied as such but if harsh judgement can fall under bullying, then def i have faced that issue. I evolved to a stage at a certain point, where I conditioned myself to realize that people simply do what they are capable of. Bullies are those who make themselves appear superior because they are silent sufferers. Confidence without clarity is utter disaster and they exactly fit that criteria. So, its best to keep ur happiness, ur esteem to urself. These privileges should be with u because the moment you let them rule you, you become a slave. Having said that, if things go out of hand then taking proper step is absolutely necessary. 

5 what's your schedule regarding your writing?

There's no particular schedule as I let my creativity flow and I'm a person who never fare well with schedules. When I'm on, I may write 6/7 hours altogether and when I dont want, I won't write anything. However, I do not take long periods off between writing because I know it will break the consistency and affect the quality of my work.

6 what do you enjoy most about Wattpad?

Wattpad, I think is a phenomenal platform for budding writers. The amount of exposure it can give you is astounding. However, you need to work hard and be tenacious to see your efforts yield results in the form of reads, votes and comments as the competition is very high.

7 what's your favorite holiday and why?

my favourite holiday has to be Holi. I'm an Indian and Holi here is just another thing over here. The colours, the mirth, the madness, the joy, the warmth, the unity, Holi is everything. Also, the reason why it is celebrated captivates me. It actually falls in spring and hence it is celebrated with colours as spring resonates with everything new and colorful.

8 what type of genre do you like to read/write?

Given a choice to read, I'll always pick adventure, chick lit, crime thrillers. For writing, I write chicklit focusing mainly on social causes and may be young adult too. 

9 what is a good piece of writing advice?

There are basically two and both of them has come from experience. One is to not write tooth-breaking words that will give people a headache and every time they need to use google or the dictionary. I know, I suffered from the same as we amateurs often search up synonyms and use them randomly, but believe me they destroy the flow of the story. Your aim should be to write something that sounds sweet to the ears, is lucid, compact and carries the readers away, not scare them. Another is, please do not participate in those reading and writing challenges just because others are doing. Writing is creative thing and is a form of art, art should never be forced.

10 who is your favorite author?

 Favourite author- Ruskin Bond for short stories, Arthur Conan Doyle for investigative ones and Jane Austen. I have quite a few actually, so it is pretty hard to name one.

11 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?

Nothing special, but definitely I'll share the happiness with family because I could not have done it without them. They were as much a part of it as I was.

I will request my friends to go through my book Scorned as it deals with three most vital topics: Marital rape, Stigma regarding sex addiction and objectification of women in society. Rape is common but marital rape is hardly discussed, but study shows that many women are victims of it. The same for sex addiction because there is a huge taboo with the word sex. And I think, objectification of women in society needs no new mention.
