1 Do you believe featuring in meet the authors has helped you as a writer?
Yes, it has. Interviews and projects like this make me think about certain things that wouldn't have paid much attention to otherwise, such as discovering writing-styles et cetera. It has also gotten some people to check out my books, so yes, Meet the Authors has definitely helped me as a writer ^.^
2 What genre do you like to read?
I am fine with any genre, except fanfiction (sorry), but my favourite has to fantasy.
3 What's the best piece of advice, you have received on wattpad?
Hmm, there are many! But one piece of advice I have gotten, that applies to more than just writing, is to not overthink about what readers and viewers might think about me or my story, because taking criticism is one thing, but changing yourself to just please others is not great at all.
4 Are your stories on any other platforms? (Amazon, Instagram, etc)
I am on Instagram and Discord, but I am not that active on either of them because of time :(
5 Do you believe being a part of the Wattpad community has helped you as a writer?
Oh, DEFINITELY. My writing has come miles from when I first started Wattpad, and I have all my friends here to thank for that. Their advice on how to improve my writing, grammar, countless reviews and encouragement has definitely helped me a LOT.
6 What's one story (either on or off Wattpad) that you'd recommend someone read?
On Wattpad, I'd recommend 'A Sprinkle of Stardust' by @KaraCarreira. It is so good. I have read it 4 times already, and still am not sick of it.
Off Wattpad, I'd recommend reading any of Cassandra Clare's books from 'The Shadowhunter Chronicles', because I simply love the world that she has created. My favourite out of the lot has to be 'The Lord of Shadows'.
7 Do you believe interview platform, club, contests and organizations on wattpad are a good tool for new writers?
They definitely are! I have met almost all of my WP friends through book clubs, interviews and contests, and I don't think that I'd have come this far with writing without them.
8 As a writer, do you believe its wise to write in more than one genre?
If the author is able to write more than one genre comfortably and promisingly, then it's excellent. And exploring genres is not a bad thing now, is it? Personally, I haven't written more than one genre-- I have tried plenty of times, but in the end, I always come back to fantasy. But there are many authors I know who write more than one genre pretty well. So I guess we are all different.
