Chapter 3: Mia (Part 1)

Hi.
I'm so horrible. I'm really sorry for not updating in forever. I'm really busy outside Wattpad so I'm not that good at updating. But in future I promise I will try harder!
Thank you sooooooooooo much for all the reads, votes and comments. It makes me really happy to know that you're enjoying the book.

Chapter 3: Mia

As I step out of my car, I take a look at the hotel. It's a small, humble-looking place in a beautiful rural setting. Ivy climbs up one side of the building, giving it an old, charming look. A cobblestone pathway framed by soft, emerald-green grass leads to the entrance.
Only one other car from our party has arrived so far; that is the car of the newly-weds - the Jacksons.
Percy steps out first, then opens the door of the front passenger seat and helps Annabeth out.
I still can't believe how beautiful she looks. Her golden hair is in a bun, with two strands framing her face. Her dress is a very pale blue, almost white, with an intricate lace pattern and a simple shape. Her stormy grey eyes are shining, and for once she doesn't have that 'studying-everyone-and-everything-around-me-thoroughly' look; she's smiling, laughing, enjoying the day.
I walk over to them with the other bridesmaids, Rose and Zara. We're all wearing baby-blue dresses with stripes of gold lace. (Does anyone else see the dress as blue and gold???)
Other cars begin to arrive and soon everyone is here. I chat with some of the other guests. I recognise some other college friends, and Annabeth's family. Talking to the other wedding guests, I discover that many of them are from some camp that Percy and Annabeth went to. Apparently, that's where the couple met.
_____Line Break (because I'm lazy)__________________________

The hotel restaurant is a cosy-looking place, lit only by fairy lights on the ceiling and around the windows.
All of the guests seat themselves at the round tables. I look at the menu. Just reading it makes my mouth water. The food sounds wonderful, and I've actually heard of most if it. I end up ordering an omelette.
After eating dinner and dessert (for which I ordered a slice of chocolate roulade), we find our rooms and settle in. My room is small, but very neat and much more modern than one would expect from the outside. A smooth wooden desk and a matching chair sit in the corner of the room. Double doors next to the desk lead onto a balcony with a stunning view of the countryside. My bed is a queen-size, and there's a chest of drawers next to it. At the end of the bed is a leather couch facing a flat-screen television.
Not a bad place to stay for two days and two nights, eh?

End of part one.
Not exactly a cliffhanger but anyway...
It's my cat's birthday today.
Ok I have nothing to say so bye!
