So my brother was being really rude and mean in the car on the way to the movies. So my mom yelled at him. And TBH he deserved it and I enjoyed every second of it. Until it turned to all of us. She said his attitude must have to do with him playing so much video games.
WELL NO DUH I COULD HAVE TOLD YOU THAT
BUT INSTEAD OF PUNISHING HIM SHE DECIDES TO PUNISH ALL OF US

SO THIS IS WHAT SHE SAID
When we get home we have to read for 30 minutes
Not too bad right?
I'd been meaning to start Harry Potter the Deathly Hallows anyway
WELL THEN SHE SAYS THAT ALSO
WE DONT GET ELECTRONICS FOR THE REST OF THE DAY
(I'm going to sneak on at moments don't worry)

AND THEN SHE SAYS FOR THE REST OF THE SUMMER TILL SCHOOL STARTS SHES GOING TO MAKE A LIST OF THINGS WE ARE GOING TO DO SUCH AS
* reading
* Drawing (when she said these two I didn't care I do those anyway BUT THEN SHE ADDED THESE)
* Cleaning room
* Make bed
* Clean walls (what even mom...?)

And then she said
"Your probably only going to get about an hour of electronics a day. In FACT maybe only THIRTY MINUTES!"

UH NO MOM ARE YOU SERIOUS
ARE YOU SERIOUS

YOU WANT ME TO BE SOCIAL AND HANG OUT WITH MY FRIENDS THEN I HAVE TO HAVE MY IPOD

at this point I was glaring out the window on the verge of tears because I'm VERY emotional

What makes me mad is that my parents will be like
"When I was a kid we didn't have phones. I would go outside and play with my friends in the neighborhood"

Well guess what mom?
THE NEIGHBORHOOD ISNT SAFE ANYMORE
I CANT JUST GO OUTSIDE AND NOT BE FEARING FOR MY LIFE

So I probably won't be on for to long anymore (for AT LEAST a week until my mom forgets about this)
I'm still sneaking it
I can't just leave you guys
I love all of you to much to listen to my mom

AND during the movie my mom acted like we all just didn't get punished very badly!
She acted like we had just had a great family trip and nothing went wrong!

Ok I think I'm done with my rant
I think I'm going to write a letter to my mom concealing all of my feelings that I will never show her :/
