Adrian.

The oranges flames were flickering out of existence, it was as if the power, no the mana to keep them burning was being snuffed out, all around, the bloody bodies strewn everywhere green flames burned licking at their skin brightly as if they would turn everything to ash in an instant, across the field the triplets and Renee were still holding up the barrier but Adrian could see it shatter slowly, he couldn't do anything, he was powerless. A dark non humorous laugh echoed above them, he looked at them, with no pity or remorse for his betrayals. "The medium, look at you, you're powerless, and weak." He stated waving his hand throwing Adrian to a tree that broke in half on impact with his body, just as his own bones broke. "Adrian!" Martin screamed so painfully loud that all their attention was sent to him, the siblings, how they stood triumphant over them.
Adrian couldn't see clearly but he could feel them, Neill, Alora, Mikhail and the witch above Skyler, the one he had trusted, the one who was like him, now it seemed like a fairytale until voices began to whisper yet again in his head, give in, unleash your power, you're the witch of protection yet you can't even protect them. When it had begun they were just voices, now they were more, he could see their faces, the ancestors led by the elders, Adrian couldn't mistake them, never them. "Grandma." Adrian whispered looking at the woman, last time he had seen her he had gotten his flame, now she was here again, she seemed to appear when he was dying. "My poor child, being a good person can only get you so far, every being has a dark side to them, its never truly visible but it is there, how we let that darkness rule us determines the person we are, Adrian you're stronger than this, stronger than them, you've tried being good and at every turn your own father has tried to murder you, even the goodhearted have to turn dark at times, its the only way." The woman who seemed radiant asserted as she moved away from Adrian with only a few steps. "They will kill anyone who opposes them, your grandfather will die in their thirst for power, more will be consumed if only to satiate their hunger for power." The elders spoke nolonger as whispers but as strong and powerful spirits. "No power shall overcome the medium, the balance." They spoke one last time as a flash of white burned obscuring their disappearance from Adrian's vision. A sigh escaped Adrian's lips as his flames finally burnt out, he was completely drained as they wanted, if only they knew that this was not supposed to happen.
"Sanguinim mortes phaslio torverta ignus terveri." Adrian mumbled the spell, he didnt know where it was coming from, he didn't ask just let it flow and as it took root crystals began to appear, they encased Jax, Enzo, Kyle, Johnny, Nik, along with Renee and the kids, Adrian waved his hand and they vanished from the blood soaked plains. "What, he's not supposed to have magic!" Mikhail yelled as he lashed out with red energy that turned to sparkling orange lights when it came in contact with Adrian. "I have tried to find peace and live in harmony with you but your need for power is disgusting and has led you to this path, let me remind you of what the elders told you before, no power shall overcome the medium." As those words left Adrian's lips he burst of the ground into the cloudy sky, once he was above the clouds he began to heal with the moonlight shining on his skin, he had no choice so he let go and fell back to the earth, like a roaring dragon his body changed and wings that burned orange appeared on his back, first was Skyler, he didn't even see Adrian appear behind him only felt his wings engulf him. "Revertum egnus." Adrian placed his palm on Skyler forcefully, this caused the spells he had cast to unravel, the power he was channelling through him to his siblings from Adrian changed direction, it was siphoning back to its owner. "No!" Skyler yelled as he slashed at Adrian but the witch was too slow, the medium landed an upper cut on him, pulled out his soul weapon and cut down his opponent in a series of flaming attacks, in the sky it was now a show of orange and green flames, Skyler ported away to gain distance but Adrian had inflicted more damage that wasn't healing as well, when he touched his torso the blood was present on his fingers. "You'll pay for this." Skyler hissed as he attacked in blind fury but that's exactly what Adrian wanted. "Masters of heaven and earth, seal of Titans." Adrian cast the spell as Skyler paused is his attack, the chaining seal didn't come from outside no, it came from within, it chained his whole body on the inside, till only his airway and a singular mana path was free, Adrian grabbed Skyler's legs and threw him to the ground with the force of a giant slingshot. "Dark devourer." Adrian could feel the creature being summoned by the other witch sibling, it came from the cracked earth roaring in fury, slashing once, it slashed a hundred times at the mediums body but Adrian already had a counter because he was looking into the future, he vanished in a burst of oranges leaves and was in the sky instantly, the beast was on the ground its scaly figure searching for him. "He's in the sky!" Alora yelled but it was too late, a void opened above Adrian and creatures of all shapes and sizes came out of it. "Devour the beast." He commanded and the creatures like locusts enveloped the dark devourer and ate away, nothing was left, not even bone, once they were done they went back into the void again.
Adrian appeared on the ground rather in the crater next to Skyler, he was barely conscious, Adrian knew that Skyler would never do this on his own so he searched his being, his metaphysical being then his soul, a singular black glyph was etched onto Skyler's soul and Alora's magic pulsed from it, that's how Skyler had done it, he was a puppet for the siblings he wanted to please so much. "Break and be reborn." Adrian whispered as his flame flared around Skyler, it didn't burn him but purified his soul. When he was done Adrian knew that he had two werewolves to deal with, so he vanished and appeared infront of them just as he detonated a magical bomb that separated them in three different directions. "Seal of Rebellion: Lucifer's Judgement." Adrian mumbled as threw beings who were shrouded in darkness appeared, their forms were much like his opponents, they moved quicker than lightning to do the bidding of the one who summoned them. Neill looked at the mirror image of his body, then a hand shot out for his neck just as another punched right through his stomach. "Sister!" Mikhail pleaded for help but as he did so a scream tore out through the night much louder than his, Adrian's spell required his full power and focus, he couldn't take on the three of them with the power they held, so he summoned who could strip them of it, the three siblings would be reduced to their strength without the power of the patriarch, his or what he took from his family. "Adrian please!" Neill begged as all the power was stripped from him in the most painful of ways, once it was complete a sphere of white hot mana floated above Adrian, it began to siphon itself back into the witch just as the other two equally large spheres vanished going to their owners.
Adrian released a breath as he felt his whole being fill out with brimming energy, even though he had his power back it felt as if it was just adding to something greater, the power he had gotten from the ancestors and what he was getting from the thousands of dimensions he was gatekeeper to, he rose from the ground as his wings vanished and his hair burned an orange flame, his eyes were no longer just a void of darkness, his orange catslit eyes shined in the darkness. Alora appeared first with a body encased in shadows and hands steaming, two wolves appeared aswell growling at Adrian ready to rip him apart. "Now that this has become a fair fight, why don't we finish this, the Sovietro way."

An audible gasp escaped Adrian's lips, how long had he been out, it was night time but what time exactly, he looked at the far wall where the clock swung right and left, almost seven, meaning dinner would be done soon, he wondered who was home and had left him passed out. He stood up with a groan, his body felt slightly sore, he was definitely out for a very long while. "You're awake." Renee mumbled happily as he moved about the large and by large Adrian meant every letter, the large kitchen. "Hey dad, how long was I out?" Adrian replied as he sat at the breakfast bar, the man was thoughtful for a moment then turned to Adrian. "Five hours." He replied with a frown realizing that it was new even for Adrian and he hadn't had any visions lately, and honestly the vision didn't feel like one, it felt real, too real and instead of having a seat to watch, he was living it. The witch rubbed his arm in worry, that was not a future he wanted for himself or anyone else. "Worrying about it won't help, I know you're shaken up, have this." Renee interjected making Adrian push aside his thoughts, Renee mumbled beneath his breath as yellow flecks sprinkled onto the cup of warm tea he was offering Adrian, Renee was getting good with his magic especially when he finally had a grimoire with his own family's magic, though he doesn't talk to his family, they shunned him for not being able to use magic whilst being a witch, Adrian was able to unlock his magic and everyday since then life has been magical both literally and figuratively for Renee.
"How was your day?" Renee asked with a smile as he snapped his fingers and the stove turned itself on. "I had two classes and was back home early to wrap up Johnny's birthday present then passed out, I'm not sure." Adrian replied with an amused tone making Renee chuckle, the two of them were like best friends yet father and son. "Don't worry, I got everything planned, and luckily the boys are all busy, they won't know, along with that my little trouble makers are at the bakery, hopefully they wont have sugar rush." Renee added as Adrian smiled knowingly. "It was a bad idea letting them go to the bakery on a school night wasn't it." The taller male mumbled in realization as both of them burst out laughing. "You're the dad, you know best, but as you know pops doesn't know restraint when it comes to spoiling them." Adrian explained as he finished the tea, it didn't take long to adjust when Renee first learned that Nik was back from the dead through demon magic, he took it pretty well, what he did need adjusting to was the family, it was bigger, he was hesitant to make the rules, to be in a way the person of authority, Adrian and his siblings made sure he knew that and Adrian personally gave over guardianship of his brothers to Renee and Nik to assure them of that decision, this was their home and they were the parents, they had their bratty kids and they made it work.
"So how was your day, new clients?" Adrian asked as he helped make dinner, it was always on the feast side since they were hungry weres to feed, they ate a lot. "Not really, it was actually boring, I'm thinking of quitting and expanding the bakery into a coffee shop, we already have savings to last us for years, plus I want to spend more time with my husband." The response was deeper than Adrian expected, though Renee had healed, rather all of them had healed from losing Nik, Renee had been the most affected, they were mates and his need to be around him more was warranted, life was short, hell Adrian spent any moment he could with Jax, if only it didn't lead to sex, but with that came blessings, only Renee knew about it and Adrian wanted to break the news to the family on Johnny's party, he was pregnant, he had found out recently through Renee who noticed his sickness, it should've terrified him but he was happy now, surrounded by family, his only worry was that dream, he had to protect his child at all costs, if ever that dream came true. "Hey, where did you go?" Renee mumbled as he bumped Adrian with his hip, a little flustered Adrian mumbled sorry. "I think its a great idea, with what happened I think its good for you to be closer, plus if the spell works, you'll need him closer than before." Adrian replied with a hopeful expectancy that burned in Renee's eyes too, he wanted to have a biological child of his own with Nik, that didn't mean he felt any less for his children but something that symbolized the two of them, Adrian had found an old ancestral spell, reinvented it with an organ creation spell to create something new, though Adrian was naturally pregnant he had magic all his life to aid him but Renee didn't so they needed magic to aid Renee in getting pregnant. "How about we go check righ now if you're expecting, have you had any symptoms?" Adrian asked as he waved his hand and the stove turned off along with the kitchen cleaning itself up instantly." The action made Renee look at everything in wonder, Adrian definitely knew his dad would now want to learn the spell, he had a thirst for magical knowledge that surpassed Adrian's itself. "I want to learn that spell." Renee quickly mumbled making the medium chuckle. "You can't learn it dad, there is no spell just arcane magic and intention." Adrian explained as he waved his hand and the door opened with ease without him even placing a hand on the door, they made their way up the stairs to what was now Adrian's workroom, he had gotten it as a surprise from Jax since in the old house he had to use the library, now there was a huge workspace and the library separate from each other. "I haven't had symptoms despite a little bit of dizziness, I just thought it was work stress." Renee confessed making Adrian narrow his eyes on him but wordlessly made his way to the worktable where he picked up a crystal chain with an emerald gem, Adrian knew Renee didn't need to be told what to do, the man laid down on a couch relaxing whilst Adrian knelt down next to him dangling the chain above his stomach. "Revelum ostendere." The witch mumbled as the pendulum swayed back and forth, his eyes glazed over orange as the future unraveled in his eyes.
"Papa catch me!" A little boy with black hair darted through the house, his bouncy curls making his face gleam with joy. "I will catch you." Nik replied as he ran toward the boy. "Will you two stop, you're making a mess." Renee complained as he waddled to the couch with a large baby bump. The memory faded as what Adrian truly wanted came to him, the foetus was growing pulsing with magic, four weeks and two days in. Adrian gasped back to reality as he looked at Renee with a smile that kept the man in suspense, a worried suspense. "Tell me already." Renee demanded as he he sat up. "Fine—" Adrian bit out. "You're pregnant and you're almost hitting a month anr a week in the pregnancy." Before the other witch could react Adrian showed Renee the vision, his joy was palable, and no words could express it. "Is that, Adrian, oh my goddess." Now the tears fell, his joy couldn't be contained, as both witches cried and laughed together. "I'm home, Ari, dad!" Enzo yelled as he climbed up the stairs to stand by the door to the work room only to see the two laughing questionably.
"Hey you two, what's funny?" The demon who now looked even more handsome than before due to Renee's pampering and overfeeding sat down next to him with the slightest smile breaking from his lips. "Nothing just a joke that only we can get, but none the less tell me my red headed little prince, how was your day?" Renee asked diverting the question of the pregnancy because both he and Adrian wanted to tell their mates first, it was by chance that Renee knew of Adrian's pregnancy so they would keep it to themselves.
"My day was horrible, pops overworked us and Kyle just had to accept an invite to the Sovietro ball." Enzo grumbled as he laid his head on Renee's lap. "He did what?" Adrian all but growled making both Renee and the demon Enzo flinch a bit away. "Oh shit." Enzo mumbled as he smiled innocently at Adrian, it was no lie that Adrian didn't like his paternal family because of the many lies they kept, including the fact that his father dared to even claim to want to talk to him after abandoning them, they have been trying to contact him with magic but his magic and the wards he placed on the house have kept them away, it was better that way. "We're home!" Kyle and Jax yelled from the foyer just as Adrian stood up from his sitting position with a rather devlish smile on his face, Enzo and Renee noticed immediately and they too got off the couch. "Kyle raise a shield." Jax ordered the confused hybrid just as his mate hurled a fireball at him.
