A witches Ire.
Adrian.
A black snake slithered in the shadows, it's master had commanded it to do something whilst he was distracting the enemy, Lino wanted to go back and suck the life out of both those vile beings but he had orders and he wanted to please the witch who had given his life a purpose and power he never thought possible, he slithered toward the coffin silently, found his way in and wrapped the body in his shadows completely, as he did so he began sucking out the magic that held the man his master and friend wanted to free, he tried to eat away at it as fast as he could, soon the man opened his violet eyes and the rest of his body was free but because he was in his shadow, the man couldn't move.
Adrian knew what he wanted had been successful, it amused Adrian to some degree that Leyton knew about his abilities and his visions but he never thought Adrian would've see this outcome, orange flames erupted over Adrian's body, the flames turned to orange leaves, there was nothing left on the ground between the two mystics beside flickering orange leaves. "You're really a fool." Adrian spoke next to Lino who was in his natural spider form but seven feet now, on his right side was the siren he had come to get.
"I am the Medium, and one who can open an entryway into any plane of existence, you would think your ego wouldn't be tactical when handling me." He called out just as the two men lunged to attack them. "Get in." Adrian instructed Jax's father once the portal was open, the man jumped in along with Lino, he held out his hand and Leyton struggled in his hold as he was being dragged toward Adrian, the witch clenched his fist and the vampire fell unconscious, a barrier appeared to stop the demon identical to Leyton from passing through whilst he went into the portal with an unconscious vampire.
"Adrian we're here!" Johnny called out as he and Kyle appeared from thin air. "Just in time, Kyle take Mr. Milford get him to my workroom, Johnny take Leyton, my mate has unfinished business with him." Adrian instructed and opened a portal for both of them, he then followed Kyle to his home, he had to make sure the man was alright and immediately make sure he wasn't possessed by any other spirits besides demonic ones, which would be nasty business.

Jax.
He felt peaceful, somehow everything in his mind and body felt okay, as if nothing would happen to him and he would always find peace. After learning about his father Jax couldn't bare the pain he felt, relief came for him in the form of his mate and he indeed was relieved though he remembered vividly of how he was knocked out on the fifth round which was by far the best orgasm he's had, but come to think of it, every time he was with Adrian and every time he released his seed in the witch it was always the best, he could never get past that feeling.
He wondered where he was, the sheets didn't smell like sex, Adrian and himself, they were clean, almost too clean, that's when he opened his eyes to find himself in a room that was almost as big as the one he shared with Adrian, but what was different was everything, he knew he wasn't at home because the windows weren't floor length and his beach view was much better than the one he was faced with, he wondered where he was.
His eyes snapped toward the door where Kyle walked in. "You're awake." The hybrid stated with a lopsided grin on his face, Kyle could be an idiot sometimes, he wondered how Johnny handled all that beauty with very shortcoming brains, the thought alone made Jax feel for his little brother but what could any of them do, the goddess wasn't a fool and she definitely didn't make mistakes, or so he hoped she didn't. "I'm clearly awake Kyle, where am I?" He questioned the man who sat at the foot of the bed. "Home." He replied making Jax raise an eyebrow.
"I mean my home Sovietro manor, Adrian said to bring you here so that you could be safe whilst he went to meet a demon and rescue his father inlaw—." The hybrid paused when he saw the expression on Jax's face. "I feel like I shouldn't have said a lot of that." He asserted with a chuckle. "Forget I said anything, Jax." But Jax couldn't forget anything, his mate had knocked him out and went straight toward danger without him, how could he be selfish, they faced danger together not him alone, he immediately moved from the bed and found himself in black sweatpants and a blue tee shirt.
"Who put these on me?" He growled looking at the hybrid who narrowed his eyes at him as well. "Johnny dressed you, why do you look like you're planning murder." Kyle pressed on but the kitsune ignored him completely because there was a rule to people touching him, even when he was knocked out, and because of that the amount of people who touched him were limited to six people, it would've been seven if his dad were alive, the kitsune sighed again, he didn't believe Adrian could have found him, he just hoped he was safe and judging from his connection with him, it was safe to say he was.
The patriarch burst through the door, he didn't seem alright, rather a little bit frazzled. "Hello Jax, have you by any chance see Adrian yet, or have you talked to him yet?" The man questioned with determination burning in his eyes, this was something new for Jax and it made him wonder what exactly had happened for him to be so unfocused and seemingly shaken. "No I just woke up." He replied and the man nodded walking out muttering lowly but Jax couldn't get anything he said. "Adrian found out—." Kyle spoke looking at anything but Jax. "What are you talking about Kyle?" The kitsune urged and Kyle seemed to be having an inner debate.
"Adrian asked me if I wanted to be loyal to you guys and not anyone else, I made a decision and I hope it's the right one and I'm swearing my loyalty to you, just promise you won't betray me." The hybrid asserted and Jax could see the resolve in the man's eyes, he couldn't deny him what he wanted. "I promise, I couldn't and would never betray you, Kyle, if you trust me." Jax promised as he held Kyle's hand in his own, the brown almost black curls of Jax ruffled slightly in the draft that blew into the room. "Adrian refused to come here, he sent me to get you once you were awake, he said it was a mistake even coming here in the first place, the reason being that the patriarch isn't his uncle, he's our paternal grandfather." The revelation made sense in Jax's mind.
Sovietro was the most powerful mystic family in Greeneway Bay, obviously Adrian and his siblings inherited that power, Johnny human and wolf had the same characteristics as the patriarch and it seemed as Johnny grew they would be carbon copies of each other, of course, it would make sense that the patriarch would tell Adrian's father to get help for his addiction, he was his son, right then Jax's tails appeared behind him, he held out his hand for Kyle as his eighth tail glowed a dark purple and the two vanished only to appear in front of the house.
"Jax!" The boys yelled as they tackled him down to the porch, he laughed with them as they were giggling because of his tickles, Adrian appeared by the doorway with a smile and Jax moved from the three who were giggling on the ground to his mate, he towered over his mate but that didn't matter, he wound his arms around Adrian lifted him up to kiss him. "Okay kids this is not age appropriate, let's go train." Jax heard Kyle announce and the boys running past the two who were in their own world. "I love you, but if you ever go on a suicide mission again I will punish you." Jax growled so dominantly that Adrian submitted to the canines that bit down on his shoulder, he knew he deserved his mates' anger but he was glad that he was even talking to him.
"I'm guessing Kyle told you?" Adrian asked as they sat on the chairs by the front porch. "Not all of it, but the nonshocking part I guess." He mused making Adrian chuckle. "He knew where my father was all along, when I opened the link to him yesterday his mind connected to mine and I saw a lot of things, one of those things was how he was my and the rest of my sibling's grandfather, I already knew our father wasn't coming back but—." Jax made him pause, he didn't understand what the statement not coming back meant.
"Where is your father?" Jax questioned with a hand rubbing Adrian's back. "He's somewhere in New England, has a wife and two kids." Adrian confessed with tears running down his cheeks, Jax could feel the pain that his mate felt and it broke his heart too. "He forgot about us Jax, moved on with his life and I'm here hoping one day the twins can finally know their father instead of calling me dad." Jax could feel the pain that radiated from Adrian, but he couldn't do anything but just hold him, they teleported into their bedroom, Jax laid on their bed and held his crying mate, how he hated to see him so broken and hurt, how could any father abandon his children.
It seemed the more they learned about themselves the more pain they experienced, Jax hoped their lives would be better but that wasn't the case, their lives were stuck in an infinite loop of trying to survive the odds and it seemed fate was playing a cruel game. The vampires, demons, the secrets, the lies from everyone around them, couldn't they rest, only for a day and just move on with their lives, why couldn't they just be found at peace. Adrian had cried himself to sleep but Jax knew he would be better when the sun set, he walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower, the kids would be hungry and with Adrian in pain, Johnny was obviously going to be out of commission.
He decided to check on Johnny first, so he went directly to his room, he found the boy sitting on the bed with Kyle. "Jax." Johnny choked out and ran to him, Jax didn't need to say anything, he just held his little brother and consoled him, held him in his arms promised he would never leave him and he would always protect him, no matter what, that's what he intended to do, he wouldn't abandon them, he wouldn't have the strength to either, Kyle joined in on the hug until Johnny was fine again, no one could ever truly understand how hard this was on him, he knew Johnny had felt his emotions the previous night, now he was feeling Adrian's along with his own, how much could they take.
Jax nodded to Kyle and the man lifted Johnny easily and laid him down on the bed, Jax radiated an aura of safety and protection, his heat comfortably filled the air, it tugged at your heart and took your pain away and replaced it without love, it spread around past the room into the whole house, bringing a sense of peace over everyone, this was his way of showing them that he was here for them, he was here to protect them. "Sleep, little brother." He mumbled placing a kiss on Johnny's forehead.
Kyle had moved from the bed into the bathroom, he gestured for Jax to follow and the sight was pleasant and unpleasant weirdly at the same time. "Adrian found him at the demon hideout and because Johnny was so angry with everything, he tore him apart, and this is what is left of him." Kyle explained pulling out the head of Leyton from a black bag dripping with blood. "Oh, my goddess." Jax mumbled looking at the head but no pity came from his heart. "Good riddance." Both he and his second soul meant that in every way, he was glad to be rid of him. "Burn the remains will you." Jax suggested to the hybrid who smiled brightly at the suggestion.
It was almost noon and the boys needed to be fed so he immediately walked out after patting Kyle on the shoulder, he made his way out the bathroom and then out the bedroom, an aroma filled the house, it reminded him of home, of the days he would come back late from practice and see his papa cooking with his dad, it was always Ratatouille with those two and he smelled it. "Pops." He mumbled and ran down the hallway toward the stairs and just as he landed on the last step he froze. "Jaxon Renee Milford what do I always say about running in the house!" He yelled, there he was, all of him and not a scratch in sight and no signs of death at all.
"Pa—papa." Jax choked falling to his knees. "Oh, my dear boy." The man left his cooking and hurried to him, Jax felt those familiar arms wrap around him, they were always protective, always safe and they never broke a promise, Jax was crying, they were both crying, it was an emotional moment for both of them because they never expected to see each other ever again, Jax hugged the man tighter. "Adrian saved you, he really saved you." He cried harder, he was overjoyed yet not even laughter could express his happiness only his tears.
He didn't mean to but his tails appeared and they too wrapped around the man. "He saved me kiddo, I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere." His father comforted as he held him, they stayed in that moment for a long while just reveling in the moment, every part of it because Jax had gotten a part of him back, the part he never thought he could have back. "I missed you, I missed your father, I missed your brother, I found peace Renee but as much as I enjoyed it I could never forget my family." The man confessed as he held him tighter in their embrace.
"I'm so glad to have you back dad, it's been hard doing all this without you." Jax mumbled as he breathed in the familiar scent of his father and his second soul rumbled deep inside him, they were both happy to have him back. "I'm back now, thanks to demons and your mate." The man asserted as he made Jax blush lightly. "Look at you, you've grown so much and are those tails, I never thought you could be unbound." The man expressed with so much shock and happiness that he crushed Jax in a hug again. "Your father and I scoured every possible lead we could to find a way to break your chains." He mumbled as he watched Jax's tails move around them both.
"Its all thanks to Adrian, he did a lot of things for me, for us and pops I don't know if I could ever repay him for all he's done for me." Jax spoke with a slight chuckle that earned more laughter from his father. "When we can't pay in any currency, we pay with loyalty and devotion, in whatever Adrian may do, support him, it's how your father and I lived, well live." He replied confusing himself but Jax couldn't help but laugh. "Papa!" Kent came running toward the older male with the twins behind him and that's when the bitter truth Adrian had told him resurfaced and it hurt him again.
"I know." He heard his father say in his ear. "How about you boys have lunch with me, I'm sure you would like to know your papa." The man exclaimed as he crouched down toward the twins, Mark the more sensitive of the pair nodded gently. "Are you Jax's papa too, and Adrian and Johnny?" Martin questioned surprising them all. "I am, but only if you want to be part of my life too." The statement from his father made Jax smile, his papa had always been a man with a connection to kids. "Okay." Martin agreed and the four of them walked happily toward the dining room.
"We may have been abandoned but it seems the goddess gave us another father, and this one seems to want us." Jax heard Johnny speak to him mentally, he turned his head to find the boy walking down the stairs. "He could never replace your father, but I know he'll try to be there for all of us." Jax reassured but the wolf scoffed. "Jax the only father I know is Adrian, he raised me, and the twins, and having your dad back just means we get to have another chance at actually experiencing the love of a father, Adrian was more like the single mom, so I'm not worried, I'm happy." Johnny asserted as he walked toward the dining room where he happily sat down and demanded food.
Jax was glad to have his father back but he owed it to Adrian, he had to thank him, so he made his way upstairs to find Adrian walking out from the bathroom, the boy was tackled to the bed by the hulking mass of man making him chuckle. "Thank you, I have nothing I could give you that would express my gratitude." Jax uttered as he crushed Adrian beneath him. "I just didn't do it for you, I did it for all of us, we needed him." Adrian replied even though he truly never understood what he meant by they needed him, he took what he got and kissed the living lights out of his mate.
"I wanna fill you up with my gratitude." Jax mumbled as he ripped Adrian's towel away, this made them both chuckle but their lovemaking took away everything else, it was just them and sweet love.

Greeneway Harbor.
"Your anchor to this world has been burnt away my lord, the patriarch has enlisted the witches to raise a barrier around the city, and we're the only two demons left in this realm my lord, what do we do?" The demon asked the red haired man who seemed to be in deep thought. "We must find a way to save our race here so that in time they will open the gateway for us gain." The demon replied as he took off into the night.
