JOEL MILLER LOST HIS DAUGHTER TWENTY YEARS AGO. She was bright, joyous and full of hope. She was his everything, his whole world. And then she died, and his world ended.

ANYONE WHO KNEW SARAH MILLER WOULD SAY SHE WAS THE EMBODIMENT OF ALL THINGS GOOD. Sure, she was a teenager, and teenagers tend to do stupid things, but she wasn't brought up like most kids. With a mother out of the picture and a single father, Sarah recognized the responsibilities placed upon her at a young age, and she carried them with pride. She loved her life, and mostly she loved her family.

CIERRA SANDRA WASN'T THAT DIFFERENT FROM SARAH MILLER. From looks to personality, someone could say she was Sarah reborn. But Cierra was her own person, and she had her own life, dreams, and ambitions. Her parents rebelled against FEDRA, which was the ultimate cause of their deaths, then her sister made the anger from their loss fuel to take down FEDRA by joining the Fireflies. Dragging Cierra along with her.

SALLY SANDRA WAS A GOOD WOMAN. She loved her sister and would do the absolute impossible for her family. She was the personification of loyalty, and she would've done anything for the sake of her cause; the Fireflies' cause.

MAYBE IF SALLY NEVER LEARNED OF MARLENE'S PLAN WITH THE CHILDREN OF THE QZS THEY RAIDED, SHE WOULD HAVE STILL REMAINED A GOOD SOLDIER. And yet the simple imagined scenario of her sister in place of the little girl assigned to that mall, Sally knew the Fireflies were much worse than FEDRA.

THANKFULLY SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF REBELS, AND SHE WASN'T ABOUT TO SIT ASIDE AND LET THIS HAPPEN. She knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it, and the single action of removing themselves from the Fireflies directed the course of their lives forever. Now, with no home, and no group to stay with, Sally and Cierra Sandra were alone in a world full of monsters.
