"Well..." my mom began.

"It all started 25 years ago..."

25 years ago...

A woman in her late twenties was quickly pacing around a lavishly furnished bedroom. Clothes and jewellery scattered over the bed- several make up kits kept open but none of which have touched up her face.

"Sahi!How long are you gonna take?" Sumya practically screamed into the phone, "The wedding is in just a few hours and I still haven't gotten ready!"

"I am coming sister!Gosh, you are such a bridezilla!" Sahi said from the other side, clearly trying to hold back a laugh.

"Sumya only sighed in response as she cut the call. Checking herself in the mirror for the nth time, today was suppose to be her special day- nothing can go wrong!

All of a sudden, a flabbergasted and slightly tired Sahi barged into the door, carrying various bags filled with more jewellery and clothing.Behind her, tons of Sumya's friends were visible.

Sumya immediately walked towards them and embraced them. They were going to have a blast.

The rest of the evening was a bustle of events. Sumya, Sahi and all their friends fretting over the smallest details of the wedding saree to the make up style.

But, after hours of hard work,they were finally ready.

The wedding was almost a blur- the ceremonies, food and music was just the start.

After that,the first few months after the wedding were the best in Sumya's life.She felt like she found her other half. The tanned, tall man with curly brown hair and hazel eyes made her feel complete.Everyone was happy.

After a few months, Sumya was declared a mother and still things were on the happy side.

Almost 2 year later, a one year old Medha was toddling around the house- and still everything was more than perfect in her life.

What could go wrong?
