"Today we are going to study robotics. Let's start with basics. Anyone can define robotics ?" Professor Vardhan questioned tentatively to the new batch.

A hand rose quickly and came up the reply,"Robotics is the combination of science, engineering, and technology that produces machines, called robots, that substitute for human actions" Sanyukta gave her answer confidently.

Randhir interrupted, "No definition is incomplete, Ms. Sanyukta, Robotics is a branch of engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots. This field overlaps with electronics, computer science, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, nanotechnology, and bioengineering".

"Interesting, very interesting"
remarked Vardhan looking at Randhir.

"But sir, I defined it correctly! What's wrong if I explained robotics in simple words?" Sanyukta asked with a frown on her face.

"You were asked to define Robotics with a proper definition of engineering level. Do you think you will pass in engineering with those simple shitty lines," Randhir spoke out, clearly irritated.

Sanyukta retorted back,"Are you professor Vardhan? Why the heck are you replying instead of him. By the way, I am Air 27, don't teach me how to write an answer!".

"Both of you sit down, you both answered my question correctly. Now let's learn construction of a robot with its circuit. Class learn it carefully, tomorrow will be constructing robots in lab," Vardhan said calmly.

Both Sanyukta and Randhir kept staring each other in rage throughout the lecture.

Next day, Vardhan takes his class to the lab. Everyone looked at the magnificent lab in awe.

Sanyukta got lost at looking at the machines kept in the lab with admiration due to which she didn't see the wet mopped floor and almost slipped when a strong arm grabbed her by her waist and saved her from embarrassment.

"Get yourself glasses if you can't see from these eyeballs," Randhir commented as he left Sanyukta's waist.

"Randhir Singh Shekhawat mind your own business, I know how to be on my own!" Sanyukta replied while gritting her teeth.

"Oh really, I just saved a girl from falling flat on the floor. I guess that girl don't know how to keep her balance," Randhir smirked.

Sanyukta counter-attacked," I know how to keep my balance. I am pretty grounded, a fall would have not harmed me. Randhir Singh Shekhawat keep a watch on your legs, cause keep putting your stupid leg in other's business".

Sanyukta then stood next to Kaustuki leaving Randhir open-mouthed behind.

Vardhan instructed," Class you will be divided into a group of 2. By evening, make a useful robot for college".

Everyone got their partner. But two people looked dissatisfied with their partner arrangement." Sir, change my partner or else I will make a robot on my own,"Randhir complained like a child.

"Vardhan sir, make Kaustuki my partner, we both are roommates, this make our work easier and convenient too" Sanyukta requested.

"Engineering is about challenges, nothing comes easy. Life is all about stepping out of comfort zone. Both of you, stop complaining. Randhir and Sanyukta submit your robot on time".

"You are putting that wire incorrectly Sanyukta" Randhir exclaimed as he saw Sanyukta making the circuit.

"I am doing it correctly, you do the body of the robot," Sanyukta replied.

"Stop instructing me, I know what to do. I will do the body welding of the robot because your fragile skeleton hands are incapable" Randhir commented, and he quickly wore the helmet before Sanyukta could argue.

Sunset arrived and it was showtime. Sanyukta and Randhir took their robot to Vardhan's office.

"It is eco-friendly, we have used recycled materials" Sanyukta spoke with a tight smile.

"It's really efficient. It can be charged by electricity too," Randhir added.

"Interesting, very interesting. Okay, show how it works" Vardhan sports, and he looked it with curiosity.

Randhir pressed a few buttons on the robot to work, but it stood still like a statue. Sanyukta nervously pressed all the buttons. The robot started rotating at high speed and then burst with loud noise making the whole room engulf with smoke.

As the smoke settled, Vardhan was seen with black smoke covering his face .Vardhan now looked like he came straight out of a coal mine.

Sanyukta controlled her laugh as she saw Vardhan but Randhir couldn't control his laughter,to make things worse he laughed saying,"You look like a gorilla".

Vardhan boiled in rage,"Idiots leave my room.Don't dare to enter my class or lab for one week!".

"Randhir are you insane! Why did you laugh like a lunatic?" Sanyukta asked Randhir as they came out of Vardhan's office.

"Sir looked funny. It was all your fault, you couldn't even make a simple circuit. Sanyukta Aggarwal, you will blow up the whole college if you will keep using your Air 27 brain" Randhir spoke out.

Sanyukta shouted, "Randhir Singh Shekhawat what do think of yourself! I bet that you were not even in top 100. Your parents must have paid to get you a seat in this prestigious institute".

"You already lost the bet.No matter how hard your Air 27 brain think, you can't beat me Miss Aggarwal. Afterall I am Air 1".

Sanyukta and Randhir can argue on almost any and everything around. Only time can tell how both of them will tackle each other.
