Chapter 20

"You guys got together, I am so happy for you Sanyukta" Kaustuki hugged Sanyukta in happiness.

The group returned to Roorkee.
Randhir was still furious at Parth.

"Sanyukta can't wait to see you again"Randhir spoke has Sanyukta made her to the cab.

"It is just a 15-day break. I am also missing maa (mom). Now let me go, I am getting late" Sanyukta gave a peck on Randhir's cheek before sitting in the car.

Randhir gave a smile and waved back at Sanyukta.

He then walked towards his room to pack his luggage. In the way he collided with another person who was holding a pile of books covering his face.

"Idiot! Use your eyes to watch, you bookworm!" Randhir exclaimed while picking the scattered books on the floor.

Picking up a book Randhir saw a photograph of Parth with a girl. Parth immediately snatched this picture.

"Randhir Singh Shekhawat, You also own a pair of eyes to watch out. Secondly this collision was not intentional, please let me go I don't have the energy to argue" Parth gathered his stuff and left the place quietly.

Randhir packed his bag, he thought to go to his flat, which he had purchased with his own hard work by working day and night in a mechanic shop.

He quickly gathered the clothes which lay on the bed and floor. After everything in suitcase, he booked a ticket to Mumbai, where he had a small 1BHK flat.

Kaustuki went to her hometown in Sikkim while Jignesh too went to his hometown Rajkot, Gujarat.

Parth too packed his stuff. He then sat in a train to reach Delhi. He then takes an auto rickshaw ride to old Delhi.

A sense of nostalgia hit him as he saw the familiar narrow streets, old eateries. This is the oldest area of Delhi, a tangle of ancient streets and alleyways, filled with all kind of shops, jam packed with people.

Amid the chaos and mayhem, Parth walked towards an old crumbling house. He opened the lock of the door.
He dusted off an old armchair and sat on it. He closed his eyes to meet that girl again.

Her almond shaped black sparkling eyes and her silky Black hair made her look no less than a fairy.

Wearing glass bangles in her hands and a beautiful tie and dye suit, she winked at Parth showing off her cute dimples.

16-year-old Parth stood on his roof watching over this beautiful girl who was Parth's neighbor.

He then wrote a message on a kite and threw that towards the girl. The girl giggled and as she read the message,"I like your dimples".

A lane of memories kept spreading as Parth kept dreaming about his dream girl.

"Parth help me!" the girl shrieked and Parth's eye opened with sweat beads on his face. He has again seen that nightmare, which he wanted to forget.

He washed his face and changed his clothes. Furthermore, he walked to narrower alleys, stopping before a garage with a huge rusted shutter.

A man opened the shutter after giving a nod to Parth. The latter walked through the darkness inside to reach the place where he always come to deal with his inner beast and to satisfy his demonic needs.

Parth stood in the middle of a ring, he clutched his gloves and wore teeth protectors.

He then starts hitting his opponent mercilessly, throwing punches at his face.

The crowd around standing the ring shrieked in madness. Some cheered Parth with monetary notes in their hands, while some other were encouraging the losing opponent.

After a few minutes of fighting,Parth become victorious. The owner of this secret fighting club gave a sum of 10 thousand to Parth.

Parth walked back to his house. Washed off his injured face, the cold water didn't hurt Parth, a long time ago Parth stopped feeling the pain and agony of these injuries.

Blood was still dripping from his split lip. He carelessly wiped the lip with a cloth, sprayed alcohol-based deodorant on his deep wounds.

He closed his eyes as the liquid caused a burning sensation in the fresh scars.

"Argh...." Randhir flinched as he got a cut while repairing a car.

"Bhaiya (Brother) tie this bandage on cut" a small boy spoke out.

Randhir smiled and he took the bandage. He ruffled the little boy's hair and said,"Chotu now you need to study in school. Don't work in this workshop".

He then gave some money to the boy to get admission in a school.

"Maa who is coming over?" Sanyukta asked Anjali Aggarwal.

Anjali stood quite while chopping the vegetables. Sanyukta understood her silence.

"Is the circus again setting up again?"Sanyukta spoke with her eyebrows frowned.

"Sanyukta don't talk like this, if your father hears you, then it won't be good for both of us" Anjali spoke fearfully.

"Maa, I am not a rebel without a cause," Sanyukta replied before locking herself in her room.
