“Doctor, see what has happened to Sanyukta?” Parth exclaimed as soon as he entered the medical room.

The medical room was empty, the staff had stepped out for lunch. Parth thought to hunt some medicine personnel for help when Sanyukta caught his hand.

“What Sanyukta are you awake! Should I call someone?”Parth said loudly.

“Sush, be quite, don't speak so loudly. I had just pretended to be faint, I am perfectly fine,” Sanyukta whispered.

“What! Why the heck did you do that?” Parth question, folding his arm in agitation.

“To stop you both monkeys from fighting” Sanyukta replied.

Parth replied,”Drama queen, you scared the hell out of me”.

“You and Randhir are the real drama kings,” Sanyukta replied and giggled.

“I don't create scenes. Your Randhir creates drama all the time,” Parth spoke rapidly.

That very instant, Parth that he had spoken 'Your Randhir  in a flow of talking. He immediately apologized to Sanyukta while the latter sat there mute for a minute.

Then she spoke,” All ties between him and me are already broken”.

Parth nodded his head in understanding. He then got up, and he tried to put some ointment on the cuts and bruises he had on his face.

He winced in pain as he tried to put the antiseptic on his wound. Sanyukta immediately took the ointment and she herself started applying it on Parth's while blowing air simultaneously on his face to reduce the irritation.

Meanwhile, thought to have a look on Sanyukta. Instead of seeing a sick Sanyukta, he saw Sanyukta applying ointment on Parth face.

Randhir heart felt miserable while his blood got boiled in anger. He quickly left the place.

As Sanyukta reached her room, she saw Kaustuki reading some pamphlet.
“Sanyukta there is an interview today, two students will get scholarship for the rest 2 years. It's a good opportunity, let's try it out” Kaustuki chirped excitedly.

Sanyukta nodded in agreement. She thought this scholarship will give her freedom to study further, and she would not have to beg for college fees from her father or brother.

Next day, Sanyukta and Kaustuki reached at Dean's office for the interview.

She saw Randhir standing there from her peripheral vision. Sanyukta's turn came, and she got amazed to see the interviewer, it was Renuka Sanyal sitting in the chair.

Sanyukta answered all her questions confidently. Renuka seemed pleased and satisfied with Sanyukta's responses.

Sanyukta came out of the office confidently while Vidushi spoke,”Sanyukta what all did they questioned, listen I really need the scholarship to study”.

“Vidushi, I guess you don't need help of a slut like me. Better solve your problem on own” Sanyukta spoke eyeing Randhir.

On the other hand, Randhir stood indifferently. Vidushi went to the interview and came out with a scowl on her as she could not give her best.

Next came Kaustuki's turn. She came clueless out of the room. Randhir went after Kaustuki. He had full confidence of getting the scholarship.

As soon as he saw Renuka Sanyal, his face faded, then expressions of anger covered his face.

“Good Morning Randhir, nice to meet you,” Renuka spoke sweetly.

“What the hell, why you came here!”Randhir exclaimed in rage.

“Son, I wanted to meet you. Therefore, I thought to conduct this interview myself” Renuka spoke with hesitantly.

“Don't ever dare to intrude my life. I don't want your scholarship!” Randhir thundered.

“Son, you deserve this scholarship,” Renuka stated nervously.

“Give it to Vidushi Kumar, she deserves it” Randhir spoke out and moved out of the room without looking back.

“Sanyukta Aggarwal congratulations you have won the scholarship” the clerk announced.

Kaustuki hugged Sanyukta in happiness, while Sanyukta felt elated to get the scholarship.

“Vidushi Kumar you have also won the scholarship” the clerk spoke with borrowed expression chewing a bubblegum.

Vidushi jumped in joy. She spoke out,” Sanyukta Aggarwal look I got the scholarship without your help”.

Sanyukta responded,” Each dog has its day” making Vidushi grit her teeth.

All of a sudden, this sentence made her remember Randhir. She wondered why didn't Randhir secure the scholarship, which he could easily get through his intelligence. May be out of ego, Randhir denied the scholarship, Sanyukta thought to herself.

To Sanyukta, Renuka appeared to be a woman of intelligence and maturity who fairly gave her a scholarship.

Meanwhile, Randhir stomped in his room. He turned his bed upside down. He threw everything which came in his way.

“What happened, Randhir Bhai (Brother) ?” Jiggi asked petrified. After the fiasco with Randhir, Parth exchanged his room with Jignesh.

Randhir thundered,” Jiggi, please leave me alone for a while”.

“Sanyukta, Jiggi told me that Randhir messed his whole room” Kaustuki spoke.

“Randhir Singh Shekhawat is another name of destruction Don't talk to me about him” Sanyukta spoke and switched off the night lamp to sleep.

Randhir didn't sleep the whole night, while Sanyukta slept with a pleasant smile on her face. Randhir and Sanyukta both are living extremely different lives.
