Jeremy didn't know what time it was, but he awoke in Michael's arms, which made him melt despite the heater being off and the fire being almost dead.

Michael had his arms loosely wrapped around Jeremy's torso and was facing the boy.

There was zero chance of Jeremy denying how cute Michael was. There was not a single thing about Michael that wasn't utterly adorable to Jeremy. In all honesty, Jeremy was so glad he got to see Michael almost every day of his life.

Jeremy was staring, but it's not like he hadn't done that even when Michael was awake before. He couldn't help himself. Michael was starting to stir in his sleep, so Jeremy leaned an inch closer and pecked his nose.

Michael lightly fluttered his eyes open, which sparkled when he realized Jeremy was still in front of him. However, the first words that came out of Michael's mouth when he woke up were "I'm hungry." As if on cue, his stomach loudly growled.

"I can tell. Wanna order a pizza?"

"When have I ever said no to pizza?"

"Good point."

Michael pulled aside the curtains on the sliding glass door to peer outside. Jeremy was dialing the number for the nearby pizza place when Michael interrupted his train of thought. "Uh... something tells me the road might be closed."

A good six inches of the fluffy white stuff covered the pavement, which was probably icy from frozen puddles that still hadn't evaporated from the last rainfall.

Surely enough, when Jeremy turned on the news, a report flashed at the bottom of the screen saying which roads were closed. Of course the main roads leading from the center of town to Michael's house were closed, so the boys had two options.

"Well, we can put a frozen pizza in the oven, or we can make our own dough and make a homemade pizza."

Jeremy picked an answer fairly quickly. "As convenient as frozen pizza is, let's make our own. As long as it's not a repeat of the whole brownie thing."

"Are you sure you don't want a pizza my puns?"

"Michael, I swear to anything holy that I will disown you."

Michael sighed at Jeremy's lack of fun and walked towards the kitchen.

He had never made pizza before, so he had to pull up a recipe on his phone.

It seemed easy enough and he had the ingredients, so he just grabbed everything and had Jeremy start mixing.

The two took turns kneading the dough, which took more strength than it probably should've.

As soon as Michael read the next line, he gasped. "We have to wait an hour for the dough to rise? Seriously? I'm going to die of starvation any moment now."

"Okay, drama queen, give me a moment."

Jeremy rummaged through Michael's pantry, quickly finding what he was looking for.

He held out the chocolate bar before speaking. "Have a Snickers. You're not you when you're hungry."

"Get out of my house," Michael scoffed, even though he gratefully took the chocolate bar.

"I didn't even know I had this, how'd you know?"

Jeremy was wondering if he should lie or tell the truth. It probably wasn't much of a surprise anyways, so he decided to tell Michael.

"The other night, I got hungry when you were asleep so I looked in your pantry and saw it, but I decided to eat Skittles instead.

"So that's where the Skittles bag on the floor came from! I thought I was sleep-eating or something."

"Considering you're too lazy to walk to the pantry when you're awake, I highly doubt you'd be able to do that without collapsing or something."

Michael was going to pretend to be offended, but he decided it wasn't worth it. "You know, you probably aren't wrong on that one."

The two decided to just sit together and watch TV on the couch as they waited for the alarm to go off.

Jeremy quickly got bored with his upright position, so he lied his head on Michael's lap. With that, Michael absentmindedly began to stroke Jeremy's hair. Jeremy let out a soft sigh of contentment, bringing a smile on Michael's face.

After a while of the two being in this position, Jeremy's timer went off. He stood up and excitedly went into the kitchen. Only now did he realize how hungry he was.

Michael and Jeremy each had a hand in stretching out the dough. When Michael was spreading the sauce onto the dough, Jeremy went ahead and preheated the oven.

Unfortunately, Michael didn't have any toppings at his house, but a cheese pizza would work perfectly fine.

Michael and Jeremy each sprinkled a hearty amount of shredded mozzarella onto the pizza, completely covering the surface.

The oven beeped to signify being heated, so Michael slid the pizza into the oven.

After an agonizing fifteen minutes of the amazing aroma filling the air, the pizza was finally finished.

Michael had already cleaned up most of the mess he made, so thankfully he wouldn't have to worry about that later.

Michael took a bite of the pizza before speaking. "Jeremy, you knead to try this- it's delicious!"

"Was- was that a pun?"

Michael spoke with his mouth full, despite him disliking when other people did it. "Maybe."

"Alright, I crusted you not to do this again!"

Michael had to give Jeremy a high five for that one. "See, you're starting to get it!"

Jeremy took a bite and was pleasantly surprised. It was easily one of the best pizzas either of them have ever had.

After they each stuffed themselves to the brim with pizza, Michael and Jeremy went back onto the couch.

Neither of them had anything to say for a good while, but Michael had an idea.

"Hey Jer?"

"Yeah?"

"Since Sadie most likely won't bother us now, do you maybe want to be my boyfriend again?"

"I thought you'd never ask."
