A/N: Okok before I start this I just wanted to say thank you. I just hit 20k reads and I have sincerely enjoyed this experience so much. In the past month I have made several friends because of this book and I am so appreciative, I can't really put it into words. Also, if anyone just wants to talk, my messages are always open. Thank you so much! Enjoy <3

So many emotions were eating away at Sadie, leaving her lost and confused.

This could also be because she didn't bring her phone because it could be tracked, plus she didn't have time to figure out the gps.

At one point, her Squip came back, albeit reluctantly.

The Squip wished that someone else would've taken it, and Sadie wished she took a different squip. The feeling of dislike was highly mutual.

However, they were stuck with each other.

The Squip decided to hold the Mountain Dew Red information from Sadie. As much as it disliked her, it was still going to keep her from ending up in prison.

The Squip knew that it was bound to happen at some point, but being stuck alone with Sadie with nowhere to go was not the Squip's idea of a fun time.

At each intersection, the Squip chose a direction and acted like it knew where it was going. Of course it had access to a gps and a vast database of anywhere and everywhere, but it liked the element of surprise.

Sadie was scared. Scared of the police chasing her, scared of being in jail again, but most importantly scared of what Christine would do when she was there.

She hadn't hurt either Jeremy or Michael, so prison would be hell.

Sadie had the radio in the car turned off at the beginning because she was paranoid that she'd hear sirens, but she hated the silence so she turned it back on.

A few moments later, Sadie immensely regretted her decision. The thing she heard on the radio was far worse than any of her thoughts.

"Earlier, a police fatally injured Rachel Young after she shot and killed another officer as they attempted to find evidence against her daughter."

Sadie's blood ran cold at the announcement. She felt so numb, but she couldn't cry.

I blocked your tear ducts so you wouldn't. If you were to cry, you'd have to pull over or else you'd have an increased risk of a car accident. Either way, you would be caught, so you're welcome.

Sadie couldn't help but to be thankful for this. The feeling of needing to cry but being unable to was highly uncomfortable, but Sadie would rather be uncomfortable than dead.

Despite the circumstances, Sadie couldn't afford to stop being strong. "Is there any way you can temporarily block this from my memory?"

Way ahead of you.

Sadie felt a sharp pain in her head for a millisecond, but the memory was gone.

The lump in Sadie's throat disappeared at once, and Sadie turned off the radio like nothing happened.

She looked around at her surroundings as she drove, realizing she was in the middle of nowhere.

She was slightly panicking. She didn't know where she was or why she was doing this. She should've just stayed and taken the punishment. It would be so much worse now that she fled from her problems.

Running away was never an option Sadie would've thought of. She had always thought it was a cowardly thing to do. She almost wanted to laugh about how ironic the situation she was in was.

The fact that she was doing this was eating away at Sadie from the inside, but she really didn't want to feel the wrath of Christine.

The fact that they would probably be in separate cells far away should've been reassuring, but Christine managed to break out twice. Sadie knew damn well that Christine could break out again, and she also knew what Christine was capable of. It wasn't pretty.

Sadie was probably capable of similar things, perhaps even more terrible, but something was holding her back.

Now the Squip was also holding her back, locking Sadie in the captivity of its ideas.

No matter how bad Sadie wanted to hurt somebody, she couldn't do it.

She tried not to think about this, so she just drove. Thankfully, her gas tank was still fairly full.

Sadie was extremely tired, but she had to keep going.

Even though she took a nap earlier, it wouldn't be enough.

Sadie craved the sweet relief of sleep, but every time her eyes drooped, her Squip shocked her.

It was probably for the best.
