Jeremy's dad had him pick up some coffee at the store because he didn't feel like putting pants on. Jeremy just got out of the hospital a few days ago, and nothing at home changed.

Jeremy kind of got upset about his situation at home earlier, especially since his dad only visited him once. Michael was there though, whispering sweet nothings into Jeremy's ear whilst rubbing his back, which almost instantly calmed Jeremy down.

Earlier, the two were shoving each other's face into the artificially colored frosting of the remaining cupcakes, because that's how childish they were.

Jeremy smiled as he thought about the recent memory, but his happiness was washed over with embarrassment as the cashier cleared her throat at the register.

"R-right," Jeremy stammered, blushing as he handed her a crumpled up five dollar bill.

He took the plastic bag of ground coffee off of the counter, plugged his earbuds in, and walked back to his house.

He dropped the bag of coffee by the sink and immediately flopped onto his bed.

Almost as soon as he lied on his bed, his phone buzzed with a new notification. He figured it was probably his boyfriend and a smile couldn't help but to creep onto his face.

He struggled to pull his phone out of his back pocket from the way he was lying down, but he managed.

Jeremy kept grinning when he realized that his text was in fact from Michael, until he read the text.

Player 1 💕: I'm so, so sorry, mahal ko. I'm ending our relationship. I'll come over soon, see you at school Jeremy.

Jeremy felt as if he was hit by a ton of bricks. Funny how one single message can change somebody's mood instantaneously.

It didn't take long for the tears to come, because right now, it felt like someone was reaching through his chest and wringing his heart out.

It was just so sudden, earlier Michael was acting like Jeremy was the only other person in the universe. Michael was looking at Jeremy as if he held everything beautiful in the universe just in his eyes, he was so in love.

What happened?

Not to mention, Michael broke up with him over text? As this dawned on Jeremy, his thoughts started taking a turn for the worst.

"Could he really not tell me in person? Am I that disgusting?"

This led to many more thoughts, and they were constantly flowing through Jeremy's head. "Christine was probably right, I'm too fat, I'm too ugly and useless. I don't deserve Michael at all, I really don't."

Jeremy's thoughts went on like this for a while, which wasn't unusual. The crying was seriously draining his energy. He was almost asleep when a loud knock sounded from at the front door.

Jeremy figured that his dad was probably in the bathroom, so Jeremy somehow convinced himself to drag himself through the house to the living room.

Jeremy, hunched over and shuffling his feet on the carpet, finally reached the door to reveal Sadie. He was going to ask how she got his address, but he refrained. He probably gave it to her when he was too tired to remember anything.

Sadie faked a concerned voice, inviting herself in. "What happened?" Jeremy just let her continue walking in, spilling everything to her, still not noticing the glint in her eyes as she realized Michael really would do anything if it meant Jeremy's physical well-being.

The two sat on the couch, Sadie rubbing Jeremy's back, reminding him of Michael earlier. Because of this, Jeremy sobbed more.

They just sat for a while, the only sound being Jeremy's cries.

Jeremy wiped his eyes as he stood up to go get more tissues.

Sadie stood up as well, tapping on Jeremy's shoulder to get him to turn around.

Suddenly, her lips were on his, and Jeremy was frozen in fear.

A/N: I'm going back home tomorrow, so I'll probably have a longer chapter or two.
