Sadly, Jeremy had to leave earlier the next day. Michael was finishing cleaning his house when he heard a knock at the door. He stepped off of the dusty stool and made his way towards the door.

He had to stop before going to the door because he realized he still had frosting on his nose from Jeremy. Yeah, that morning was strange.

Anyways, Michael went to scrub the frosting off his nose in the sink when the knocking became incessantly louder.

He looked pretty ridiculous with his nose slightly stained blue, but he figured that someone really wanted to come in.

"Sadie!" Michael convincingly faked excitement when he opened the door because his petty ass wasn't over her attitude at the surprise party.

"Hey, I have a quick question. I was going to text you and ask, but I was in the area."

Michael slowly nodded, waiting for the brunette to continue. "I'm really sorry about how I was acting yesterday and I was wondering if you could tell me Jeremy's address so I can apologize?"

Michael hesitated, considering his options. Eventually, he realized that he shouldn't be too clingy towards Jeremy, plus Sadie sounded incredibly sincere.

Michael decided to tell her anyways and then she pulled him into a hug. Sadie actually gave really good hugs, but shivers went down his spine as she whispered into his ear.

"Okay, right now, I want you to break up with Jeremy."

Michael's heart pretty much stopped right then and there. Confusion washed over him. "B-but I love hi-"

Sadie continued as if she didn't hear Michael, even though Michael was sure the way his heart was breaking would somehow be audible.

"-If you don't, I will not hesitate to hurt him. Trust me, you'll regret it if you don't listen to me. After all, I happened to have a nice conversation with your friend Christine in jail."

Any remaining color on Michael's face was gone. His blood ran cold as Christine's name rolled off of Sadie's lips. "Of course she was behind this," Michael muttered, not caring if Sadie heard.

"Don't even think about telling Jeremy why you broke up with him either, that's another good way to land Jeremy back in the hospital.

Sadie finally pulled away from the hug. Michael would've pulled away sooner, but her words froze him.

"You better text him, I'm going over to his house later." She walked backwards towards the door a few steps away, saying one last thing, all whilst smiling serenely.

"Bye Michael!"

With that, she was gone.

Michael was quietly sobbing as he wrote and rewrote the message to Jeremy, hovering his thumb over the send button for a solid fifteen minutes.

Even if he tried to push send, Michael wouldn't be able to with how much his hand was shaking.

This was the last thing he wanted to do. So much shit has happened in the past few months, and as if Michael wasn't traumatized enough, this happened.

Visiting Jeremy in the hospital was the only thing that kept Michael sane in those two months. He cherished his relationship with Jeremy so much, he knew how much of a danger he would be to himself without Jeremy.

Jeremy was the first and only person Michael ever loved, and he has told this to Jeremy. Just this morning, Michael rambled on and on about the things he loved about Jeremy to the boy.

As much as this broke Michael, he much preferred Jeremy's well-being to his own happiness, especially with the things he went through recently.

Michael knew it was dangerous to keep stalling, so he wiped the tears off his phone, trying to stop future ones from coming, while failing miserably.

I'm so, so sorry, mahal ko. I'm ending our relationship. I'll come over soon, see you at school Jeremy.

Before Michael could hesitate again, he pressed send.
