Sadly, Michael couldn't sleep over that night, considering he had school tomorrow. He kissed Jeremy's forehead before he walked out the door.
Jeremy hadn't been telling Michael the complete truth with how his sleeping habits were holding up. He still had nightmares quite frequently, but he didn't want to worry Michael even more than he already has.
It was okay though, because Jeremy was going to be let out of the hospital in a week. He would finally be free to do anything without the four walls of his room constantly constricting him. He just had to hang on for four more days.
Jeremy had actually alerted the hospital staff to not allow anyone to come to his room except for Michael, Rich, or Jake.
He couldn't take any chances, he was so close to exiting the place that he hated with a burning passion.
While he was here, so many bad memories were created between Christine, Dr. Canigula, his therapist, and really most of the staff there.
Of course it wasn't that easy and he still had to visit his therapist once a week. Jeremy wondered why they even bothered making him go, all she did was talk to him as if he were a toddler and neglect his problems.
She told pretty much everyone working at the hospital about their sessions, which she wasn't allowed to do, but nobody even tried to stop her. Not only this, but every single time Jeremy had a session with her and actually talked about his problems, she would explain that so many other people had it worse.
Once, after a therapy session, Jeremy asked himself, "Did it really take stabbing someone to get fired from this dump?" The only person of the terrible staff who was fired during Jeremy's stay was Dr. Canigula, and that's because he was arrested!
Either the hospital was way too short on staff or everyone here was five times more oblivious than Jeremy.

Monday morning rolled around and Michael was just overwhelmed with the joy of waking up at six in the morning and facing his peers, how fun.
By the time he got to school, Michael was super drained of all energy already.
As he took his books from his locker, Jenna Rolan was going on and on about how there was going to be a new student today, which rarely happened at their school.
Michael found it a little bit odd that they would get a new student right before winter break, but he realized they probably moved recently and just got settled.
When he dragged his feet along to his first class, he sat at his usual desk. A few minutes later, an unfamiliar brunette sat down next to him.
Michael looked over and smiled weakly, quickly realizing that she was the new student Jenna was talking about. He was not particularly fond of new students, considering he felt like they would make fun of him like a lot of people used to.
So, Michael was surprised when she reached out her hand and said, "I'm Sadie."
Michael hesitantly reached out and shook the girl's outstretched hand. Another reason he disliked new students: meeting new people made him super anxious.
Either way, Michael went along with the small talk she initiated, not really paying attention until she asked about his favorite video game.
He wasn't sure if he should tell the truth, because often times people have never heard about the game and weren't paying attention as Michael excitedly droned on.
Eventually, Michael decided to tell her the truth. "Uh... probably Apocalypse of the Damned." Michael spoke sheepishly, hoping more than anything that she knew what it was so he wouldn't be bombarded with questions.
"Really? I love that game!" Michael was pretty shocked at the answer, even the people he talked to who have heard of it weren't the biggest fans.
After this, Michael started participating more in the conversation before the teacher entered the classroom, late as usual.
Michael ended up showing Sadie around campus for the rest of the day, which proved to not be as awful as it seemed.

When Christine returned to jail, she was allowed to eat in the cafeteria for some reason. She didn't complain though, it was a step up from being locked in a cell with her Squip. Her dad wasn't allowed to eat with the others though, which disappointed Christine slightly.
A girl who looked about Christine's age motioned for Christine to come sit at the table with her, which was the least crowded table in the place.
The girl seemed oddly excited to see Christine, despite the two never meeting.
"I uh- I know this sounds weird but I'm actually somewhat inspired by what you did in your cell a few weeks ago?" The girl spoke in an extremely hushed tone so guards wouldn't hear, but she didn't whisper in Christine's ear, considering it would be too obvious.
"Really?" Christine replied in a similar tone for the same reasons.
"I've only heard rumors about what you did to get in here in the first place, what did you do?"
Christine felt that the girl would stop talking to her once she answered her question, but she really didn't have anything to lose.
"I- uh... I kinda tortured my ex and shot him in the foot after I similarly tortured his bestfrien- well, boyfriend."
The girl looked up at Christine in bewilderment, glad she had incredibly good hearing as Christine spoke even quieter now. She was disgustingly in awe.
Christine decided to speak up again, asking the girl the same question. "What about you? Why did you get put into this dump?"
"Only shoplifting, I'm actually getting released later today, that's why I wanted to finally talk to you."
Christine replied, "Really? You're super lucky."
"Yeah, well, I might be back soon. I need your help."
Christine was taken aback by the request, confused as to why anyone would need her help.
"Oh, by the way, I'm Sadie."
A/N: I might upload later tonight and definitely tomorrow, but I'm not sure how much I'll upload from Tuesday to Friday, considering I'll be at Disneyland, so bear with me.
