I got over 100 new reads today and I started this book a week ago. Thank you guys!

Jeremy accepted the secret admire notes as a part of his daily routine. In some cases, it was one of the only reasons Jeremy got up in the morning, besides his friends. He began getting excited for each short letter, which never failed to make him blush.

"If this is how amazing it feels to be in a healthy relationship, I never want the notes to end," Jeremy said to Michael one day, a blissful look on his face, despite him not technically being in a relationship with anyone.

The notes have made Jeremy so much happier, almost to what seemed like an unhealthy extent. Recently, the notes have been listing everything the anonymous sender loved about Jeremy, which really boosted Jeremy's self confidence. It started with a letter about a few weeks in, which said,

Dear Jeremy Heere, I wanted to prove how much you really mean to me. I also wanted to help you keep your self-image positive, so one day you'll see how truly beautiful you are. So, I have compiled a list of the things I love about you, which just keeps getting longer and longer.

Number One- When you really get excited about something, your smile lights up the entire room. Sometimes, you may cover up the smile, presumably so others don't make fun of your excitement, but I think that it is one of the cutest things in the world, I hope I can see that smile a lot more often in the future.

Every one of the recent notes contained a similar format, with one thing the admirer noticed about Jeremy, ranging from the things Jeremy agreed with, like his taste in video games (Jeremy assumed that they knew this simply because of his shirts). Other notes contained some of the things Jeremy simply hated about himself, for example his stuttering issue or the way he crinkled his nose when he was really concentrating on something.

He was confused as to how the sender knew about the latter, considering it mainly only happened when Jeremy was playing video games, which he typically didn't do at school. Jeremy just shook it off, not really caring.

Michael was shocked at how easy this was. He knew that Jeremy was pretty oblivious, but he wasn't aware that Jeremy took obliviousness to the next level. While Jeremy sat in Michael's basement, he would always attempt to put the pieces of the non-existent puzzle together, although the answer was literally right in front of him. Jeremy didn't notice when Michael stared lovingly at Jeremy when he went on these rants about almost every single person who has ever acknowledged his existence, except Michael.

The boy was never once mentioned once in Jeremy's sprees. While Michael found Jeremy's obliviousness cute, his thoughts throughout Jeremy's failed attempts at finding the admirer were very conflicting.

One moment his thoughts would be, "Oh my god he just scrunched up his nose again!" or "Jeremy is so precious please kiss me now, I am so in love." The next moment his thoughts would be flooded with comments like, "He's not saying my name, he probably is avoiding it because he doesn't like me like that. We're friends, and that's that."

With those thoughts, however, Michael was almost as oblivious as Jeremy. On some occasions Michael has actually caught Jeremy staring at him, but he assumed the boy was just zoning out. What he didn't notice, obviously considering he couldn't read minds, was Jeremy's train of thoughts every day.

Jeremy was falling for Michael more and more each day. In fact, he was beginning to hope that Michael was his secret admirer. However, he tried to erase these thoughts from his mind for two reasons:

Reason one: Jeremy liked to think that liking Michael was 'against his will,' but he wasn't fooling anybody, meaning himself only.

Reason two: Jeremy was convinced that Michael would hate him if he confessed, despite Michael's constant reassurances that he would never hate Jeremy.

Technically, Jeremy had absolutely nothing to worry about, but his brain got in the way too often. Although the squip hasn't reactivated since that one time that seemed like so long ago, Jeremy's mind was pretty much hardwired to create scenarios where everything bad that could happen, happened. This happened slowly, but surely, one episode at a time. Jeremy has gotten a lot better at this, but he couldn't shake the feeling of being unloved by Michael.

Jeremy was sifting through the notes, which he obviously kept, he noticed something. On ten of the notes, there was a number on the corner, ranging from zero to nine. Jeremy was pretty surprised that he didn't see the numbers before, considering he obsessively read each letter over and over again, desperate for clues.

It didn't take long for Jeremy to realize that the numbers led to a scrambled phone number. It also didn't take him long to assume that the first six numbers would be the same as his own number. The first three being the area code and the second three, which was a bit of a stretch, matched that of many of his friends.

Now, he was left with the last four numbers: 9, 6, 3, and 4. He sighed, taking out a notepad and jotting down each of the twenty-four possible combinations.

Jeremy decided to wait until morning to text each of the numbers, not wanting to deal with the wrath of angry texts at this time of night. So, he did just that, eventually falling asleep.

When Jeremy woke up at noon, he got straight to work. He typed out a pretty basic message in his notes app which read, "Hey, it's Jeremy, I was wondering if I got the right number?"

Starting with the number 3469, Jeremy sent the copy and pasted message to a few numbers at a time, not wanting his phone to blow up. He was getting pretty frustrated with the amount of "sorry, wrong number" texts he was receiving.

He sent out the next batch of text messages, expecting similar results, considering he was only a little over halfway done.

Then, he got a text from the number ending with 9436. The sender wasn't in his contact list, making Jeremy groan before he read the text.

?: Took you long enough (; (sent using texts123forfree)

Jeremy groaned even more at the fact that the sender was using a texting app, but it gave Jeremy hope knowing that Michael was still an option.

Their conversation consisted mostly of Jeremy prying for information and the anonymous person dodging his questions.

The admirer did answer a few questions, such as their hair color and favorite color, but that information didn't help much. The two were talking on and off for most of the day, when the secret admirer had to leave.

?: Mahal kita, ang aking paboritong tao <3

A/N: Translation: I love you, my favorite person.
Have a slightly longer chapter which is up later than I wanted it to be, but in all honesty, I got distracted by my cats.
