A group of some 50 people was standing near a camp like place beside a stream falling sown the snow covered mountains of Manali. Everyone was busy talking, playing with each other.

But a girl was lost in the nature's beauty around. Admiring the smallest beauty of Manali. Its pure air, snowy mountains, light snowfall, clear streams every here and there. Registering everything she muttered to herself "Annika enjoy urself to the fullest, live ur life in just these 5days, make memories as much as u can, enjoy the last few days of ur freedom and then u will be following someone's order. (Finishing last line with frown)

Flashback

Annika was sitting in her room when her parents enter. They seemed to be happy she asked her the reason of their happiness. But their answer shocked Her. They said they had fixed her alliance and she's getting married after 2 weeks. She protested a lot as she didn't wanted to get married so early but none was ready to listen her pleadings. At last she had to agree just fr the sake of her parents to marry the person whom she doesn't even know. She was very upset when suddenly she came across an add about a trekking trip to manali organised by some club. She always wanted to go on some adventurous trip and this was the golden opportunity for her to release the marriage tension nd also to fulfill her dream

She asked her mother regarding this but she refused saying her father wont like this. But Annika was adamant to go. After her a lot of drama and tantrums her father gave permission to her beloved daughter.

And now she's here in manali. She was so lost that she didn't realised when she came this near the steam that her leg just slipped making her to fall in cold, chilling water with a huge splash. The sound was enough to grab everyone's attention. They rushed towards her for rescue as she was drowning loosing her senses. Before closing her eyes she saw a pair of blue eyes helping her to come out holding her by her waist. Annika opened her eyes after half an hour or so and was now ready to trek. To make the trek more interesting the guide decided to divide everyone in group of 3 and the winning team will be awarded with no work after reaching the next camp. Guide started calling out names in groups. Everyone was grouped expect of Shivaay and Annika, so they were paired together. Annika lifted her gaze only to meet with those pair of blue eyes again. She was mesmerised in its charm. Shivaay was also lost in the beauty in front of him. He was noticing every feature of epitome of beauty standing there.

Soon after a formal introduction they were off to trekking. There was complete silence prevailed between them. Thus was irritating the chatterbox Annika. She decided to break the silence but with what was the only thing running in her mind. She got her answers and decided to go with the same.

A: shivaay
S: hmm
A: thank u fr saving me
S: u are welcome(he replied with smile). But how u fell there.
A: ahh just was thinking something and didn't noticed when i slipped.
S: in what or in whom? (He said teasingly)
A: no one she replied irritatingly.
S: if u don't want to tell its okay he again teased.
A: that's not in my fate she said in trance but then she realised what she said and covering that said no one i told u I was just thinking about my parents.
S: hmm OK
A: so what's ur job?
S: I'm a businessman returned from London last year itself and now handling the family business.
A: that's great.
S: so what about u?
A: there's nothing much to tell. Finished college recently wanted to work but seems like its not in my destiny.
S: why?
A: (diverting the topic) Shivaay look there, isn't it beautiful she said pointing towards a deer.
S: yeah but not more than u he replied looking at her.

She Gasped And turned around to look at him. Their eyes got locked saying a lot of unspoken words, displaying numerous hidden feelings. Blushing she averted her gaze and to avoid awkward situation started clicking pics of deer. But her gloves were not allowing her to get firm hold of camera. Shivaay came behind her and held the camera fr her, keeping his chin on her shoulder wishpered now click. Shiver ran down her spine as his hot breath fanned over her cold skin. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach when his lips brushed over her earlobes. This close proximity was creating unknown sensations in both of their hearts. Everything seemed so perfect so amazing besides knowing it was not right it seemed so right.

Annika was literally running calling shivaay to run too. She didn't wanted to lose at any cost nd due to this rush she twisted her legs wincing out of pain. Shivaay ran towards her sat on his knees and started massaging her feet to sooth the pain. A lil later she was fine and ready to resume remaining trek. They started walking again but this time Annika wasn't running and shivaay scolding her for her carelessness.

S: how can u be so careless, first slipped into that stream now twisted ur legs. Where's he mind cant u take care of urself. I was so scared what if something had happened to u....
A: nothing happened na, then why are u scolding thus much.
S: don't argue now I'm concerned fr u and u are arguing.
A: sorry
Annika decided to keep mum as she didn't wanted to argue or more precisely she was busy adoring him, his care, his concern was something she never got from anyone. She was loving this.

Shivaay for a moment felt sharp pain in his chest when her leg twisted. He was feeling restless until he assured she was OK. He didn't knew what was happening to him. Suddenly he stared caring fr some random person, she started to matter him, her nonstop talks felt peaceful, her smile was something he wanted to see, her presence around him he wished always. They continued rest of their trek like this only laughing, playing, chit-chatting, she showing her carelessness and he caring for her. Annika's excitement grew more when finishing point came in their view. She again started running but this time Shivaay too was running holding her hands. They finished trek first and hence was rewarded no work. Annika was extremely happy, Shivaay was happy seeing her happiness. After everyone reached guide asked them to make tents, cook foods and other instructions were given. While everyone was working Shivika were busy falling for each other through the small gestures.

The rest of the tour went like this, now it was last day of their tour. Shivaay had already realised his feelings for her and decided to confess this to her that day itself. Annika as usual was in her bubbly chirpy mode but only she knew the strom inside her, the feeling of being caged, bound in an unwanted relation was not leaving her thoughts. It was now time to leave Manali everyone was bidding each other. Here shivaay was getting more excited​nd nervous at same time. Annika was searching for him. She wanted to wish him nd end this trip on a happy note. But he was nowhere to be seen. A local boy came to her nd gave her one letter she opened it nd started going towards stream.( In letter come to the stream was written). Shivaay what are u doing here I was looking for u there. She said as soon as she reached there. Shivaay didn't replied back anything he just came to her nd said
S: I can't make any poetic speeches nor I can sing fr u. I'll go as I am. I have met hundreds of girls, have friendship with many but none had the power to touch my heart that u posses. None fascinated me like u, I wasn't interested in knowing about them but about u I want to know. I want to discover ur every side only if u allow. Annika "I LOVE U". yes u heard it right I love u from the time u twisted ur ankle. Annika "WILL U MARRY ME".

Annika was extremely happy, somewhere in her heart she was wishing this to happen. She too was deeply in love with him nd was going to say him Yes just then she realized her marriage has been fixed nd she can't cheat Shivaay now. She didn't had the guts to say him No the only thing came in her mind was to leave as soon as possible without saying him anything. She turned around to leave but stopped as she felt a tug oh her wrist
S: Annika say something pls.
A: I'm sorry Shivaay, but I can't marry u.
S: why? don't say that u don't love me as I can see that ur eyes. Then why can't u marry me
A: yes I too love u Shivaay but can't marry u my alliance has already been fixed nd I'm getting married next week.
S: when u love me why are marring that person. Plz cancel it.
A: no I can't. I can't go against my parents. Its better fr both of us to move forward. Bye Shivaay.

Saying this left leaving a broken Shivaay behind her. After her return her family engrossed in marriage preparations. Every function was going on but Annika was least bothered. She was lost in Shivaay weeping inside at her fate. Finally it was marriage day everyone was happy rushing here and there to check last min preparations. Annika was called to mandap when she reached down she felt something but neglect it nd went to mandap. Absent mindly she performed every ritual. Her reverie was broken when priest announced the marriage is done now the couple can take blessings of their elders. Her vidayi was done nd all the post marriage rituals were also performed. It was now night so she was taken to her husband's room. She was sitting in the bed when her husband came inside locking the door. That sharp pain was again felt by her but she decided to ignore it.
Her husband locked the door behind making her heart to beat fastly in fear. He came towards bed took the pillow nd went on couch to sleep. But before sleeping he said "I know we are married nd I'm supposed to give u my love. I can give u the rights of my wife but I can't give u my love, love happens only once nd I have loved once.
This is when Annika lifted her gaze the first time in whole day nd wishpered shockingly Shivaayyyyy. Shivaay turned around hearing Annika's voice he came towards her nd lifted the veil only to find the love of his sitting in front of him. Tears started to fall down their eyes, Shivaay carcassed her face assuring he's not dreaming. Annika too did the same. They hugged each other so tightly not leaving each other as if their life depends on this only. Letting all the longingness, craving, love flow down their eyes. Living the moment, each others presence feeling their love. They slept cuddling in one another's arms.

That day two souls meant to be together were united at last.
