Who's Ready To Party?

Sept. 6th
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Madelaine sat up in the bed at 9 AM, only four hours after falling asleep, and ran to the bathroom. Upon hitting the cold tile floor, she immediately got sick. "Oh my God," she whispered, feeling a metallic taste in her mouth. The red head dropped to her butt and slid back to the bathtub behind her. When she opened her eyes and wiped her mouth she sat that there was blood mixed into her spit. "Mom!" Madelaine screamed. Michelle came into the hallway bathroom to see her daughter lying on the floor with blood on her hands. "Is this normal?" She asked. Michelle grabbed a towel to help Madelaine clean off and shook her head.

"No! Are you in pain?" Michelle asked. Madelaine shook her head and slid up the tub to sit on the edge.

"Not really," she answered. Michelle nodded and took the towel back after Madelaine finished with it.

"Finish cleaning up and if this happens again we'll go to Urgent Care," Michelle said. Madelaine nodded, then started to brush her teeth and freshen up, so she could go back to sleep for at least another hour.

"And if this doesn't happen again, can we not tell Travis? I don't want him to worry over nothing," Madelaine asked. Her mother nodded and disappeared back to the kitchen to finish breakfast. "Okay fetus, calm down. Work with mommy," Madelaine whispered.

10:15 AM

Madelaine sat on the back porch of her family's home drinking tea and FaceTiming Vanessa. "How is everything in Washington?" Vanessa asked. Madelaine shrugged.

"They're okay. This morning I vomited blood, but I feel fine now. And I was concerned, but it's whatever now," Madelaine answered. Vanessa's eyebrow skyrocketed. She knew how Travis was with Madelaine and her sitting on a porch instead of the nearest hospital bed made no sense.

"What do you mean? I can't believe Travis didn't rush you to the hospital," the best friend said. Madelaine slightly rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, no. That is exactly why I didn't tell him. I have other things to worry about that don't involve another hospital trip to tell me what I already know...that I'm pregnant. If it happens again I'll go but for now," Madelaine trailed off while she slipped her finger over her lips as a symbol of shut-up.

"Okay, whatever you say. Have you guys started house hunting?" Vanessa asked. Madelaine shook her head. "Why not?" She inquired.

"Because my name is on the mortgage of the house we are in now. Davis is the one that needs to move out. He's technically living in the nursery right now," Madelaine said. Vanessa cocked her head to the side.

"Move Yosh," she said, lightly pushing Yoshi to the side of the bed that wasn't directly in front of the camera. "What happened to you and Travis moving and letting Davis keep the house?" Vanessa asked. Madelaine sipped her tea with a shrug.

"That was before I found out I was pregnant. You know I get stressed out so easily and I was not about to go through the stress of having to move again while being pregnant. That's too much. It's bad enough I'm stressing about the shows cancellation or whatever it is, and the fact that I might be a single mother once I kill Travis," Madelaine explained. Vanessa quickly sat up at the last part.

"What? Why would you do that? What's going on with Travis?" Vanessa asked. Madelaine rolled her eyes and placed her head on her knee.

"He isn't even trying to be about this baby. It's honestly fucking annoying. He tells everyone that he's so excited to be a dad and shit, but anytime I'm like okay let's talk about the baby he shuts down. Last week he literally walked away from me as I was talking. Like seriously dude? I wanted to rip his head off," Madelaine explained. She could feel her blood pressure rise as she talked about the situation. And anger started ensue with in minutes.

"Damn. I'm sorry, babe. Maybe you guys should go to therapy or sit down with your parents and talk about this," Vanessa suggested. Madelaine shrugged and looked back to see Travis in the kitchen making a plate for the two of them.

"I'll talk to him. I've gotta go, he's on his way out here. Love you! Bye!" Madelaine quickly ended, before she hung up and dropped her phone into her lap. Travis came out of the screen door and placed a bowl of fruits and plate of vegan pancakes, sweet potato's and some grapes drenched in syrup.

"Who was that?" Travis asked, pecking Madelaine's cheek. The redhead picked at her fruit and pushed her hair behind her ears.

"Vanessa," she answered rather quickly. "We need to talk," she cut to the chase. "We don't have this party to go to until 5, so we need to have a serious talk about what's going on with the baby," Madelaine started. Travis rolled his eyes and smacked his lips. "Get an attitude if you want, but either you're in or you're out. Tell me now if I'm doing this by myself," Madelaine said.

"What the fuck are you talking about? You're not taking my baby from me," Travis firmly said. Madelaine leaned in and narrowed her eyes. She didn't want it to seem like they were fighting with her parents at the table right in front of the screen door.

"Then act like this is your fucking baby and I'm your fiancé. We need to figure out what's happening with this house and actually get things going," she said through her teeth. Travis folded her arms and leaned back in the chair. Madelaine sat back and crossed her left leg over the right. "Now, you said you don't want to loose the home office, but have you told Davis he needs to start moving out?" Madelaine asked. Travis nodded.

"Yeah, I told him before we left. He wasn't thrilled, but he understood," Travis said. Madelaine went into the reminders on her phone and checked 'Nursery/Davis Moving Out?' off the list.

"Good. Now, my next appointment they are doing an anatomy scan. I scheduled it for October 18th, it's a Monday at 9:15. Are you coming and if so, does that time work for you?" Madelaine asked, looking at her calendar and all the dots under the dates signally an event or appointment or meeting. Travis looked at his calendar with way fewer dots and shrugged.

"I'm playing at the third day of festival that day, but I'll try and come before the soundcheck," he said. Madelaine nodded. And put a maybe next to that reminder.

"What festival? Why didn't you tell me you were playing?" Madelaine asked. Travis rolled his eyes.

"Cause now that you're pregnant, you really don't want to do anything. So, I didn't think you'd want to go. Plus you'll be like 4 months pregnant," Travis excused. Madelaine tried not to get into her box as Travis spoke.

"If you don't want me to go, you can just say that," Madelaine said. "I'm not going to go psycho," she continued. Travis shook his head, seeing that his fiancé started to put up her tough girl front. He could tell that he definitely hit a nerve and softened up.

"It's not that don't want you to go, I want you and baby to be safe. I'm worried that something could happen. All those people are most likely going to be drinking and I don't want your anxiety to flare up and have something happen to you," Travis finally honestly spoke. Madelaine poked out her bottom lip with a small smiled.

"There's the Travis we've all been looking for. Baby, you could have told me that," Madelaine said. She knew Travis was protective, but not that protective.

"Look baby, I know this has been scary with a baby coming, and I was scared. I still am scared, but I wasn't considering what you were going through. Please, just work with me, okay. This is new for me," Travis said. Madelaine moves from her seat and sat on her mans lap.

"It's new for me too, but we have to work together. You have to talk to me about what your feeling so we can work through things. I hate having to threaten you to get you to talk to me," Madelaine said. Travis nodded and pecked Madelaine's lips.

"I love you and Mel," Travis grinned. Madelaine giggled and went back to her seat.

"Dude, How are you so sure it's a girl? What if it's a boy? Then what's his name since you've clearly thought about this," Madelaine asked, not expecting an actual answer.

"Tobias Tatum Mills. Obviously, he has to have my initials," Travis said. Madelaine playfully scoffed.

"Why can't the baby have my initials if it's a girl?" She asked. Travis shrugged.

"Fine. Melina G.. What sounds good with Melina?" Travis asked. Madelaine googles the question and came to a page with a nice list.

"Giselle?" She asked.

"Meh," Travis replied.

"Genevieve?"

"I can't even spell that,"

"Guinevere?" Madelaine suggested.

"I'm sorry what I meant was, I can't spell Genevieve, but Guinevere is nothing," Travis joked. "Madelaine pick something I can spell," Travis begged.

"GiGi?"

"Are we raising a stripper?" Travis laughed. Madelaine almost choked on her tea when she heard his response.

"You're stupid. Okay, what about Geneva?" Madelaine asked. Travis sat silently for a second actually pondering the name.

"Melina Geneva Mills? Okay, I'm here for it," Travis decided. Madelaine gasped.

"For real? That's dope. We've got names. Good job!" Madelaine praised. She high-fived her man and sat her phone in her lap. "When we get back, can we go look at cribs and stuff for the nursery. We can't really buy anything until Davis leaves, but still. I want to make sure it has a theme. Ugh, I wanna know the gender so bad," Madelaine faux complained. Travis giggled.

"Are we finding out at the next appointment, in October?" Travis asked. Madelaine shrugged.

"I hope they can tell us. I'll be 18 weeks, so I'll be right in the middle of when we can find out. Let's hope the baby will let us see. Apparently, the baby some times isn't in the position for us to see," Madelaine fact dropped. Travis furrowed his eyebrows and looked up from his phone.

"Cole didn't mention that," Travis said. He had an idea for a gender reveal, that may top all the ones that have ever been done, but it required some help. (Pictured)
