Madelaine walked onto the Riverdale set bright an early at 6AM ready to shoot. She walked in and sat in her chair watching Lili and Camila film their first scene of the day. Most of her scenes were with Lili today meaning that the plan to tell the boys was going to work out swimmingly.

After eight takes of the same scene Lili and Camila were finally done and it was time for Mark and Skeet's scene. "Are you nervous?" Lili asked as she and Camila sat beside Madelaine. The redhead shook her head and put her phone into her secret hiding spot aka her skirt pocket.

"Not really. I went into costumes and had to tell them so that they could find a way to hide fetus," Madeleine said. Lili was shocked.

"How are you already showing? You're only 9 weeks," she asked. Madelaine stood up and smoothed the material of her skirt over her abdomen and sure enough she had a tiny little bump.

"You know I'm small as it is. So yeah, home girl has a belly now," Madelaine said. Her friends gawked as she held her skirt.

"Hi, fetus," Camila smiled as she poked at Madelaine's stomach. Lili placed her hand over Madelaine's tiny stomach and gasped.

"I remember first showing with Daisy. Are you loving it?" Lili asked. Madelaine shrugged with a small smile while she let go of her skirt.

"I do kind of love it. It's semi-solid which is always weird, but nonetheless it's still fun," Madelaine answered, before she sat back down with Camila. Out of nowhere Mädchen, Marisol, and Nathalie came from Camila's side with huge grins on their faces.

"Yes?" Lili asked with a small smile of her own.

"Did we just see what we thought we saw?" Mädchen asked. Madelaine looked between her friends and started to giggle. "I knew it," she smirked, before pulling Madelaine out of the chair into a hug.

"My TV daughter's going to be a mom," Nathalie beamed as she got in on the hug. Marisol waited until the group hug was over to get her own hug in.

"How far along are you?" She asked, pulling away to let Madelaine sit back down.

"9 weeks and a day," Madelaine answered.

"Awe, your still early. Are we hoping for team girl or team boy?" Mädchen asked. Madelaine shrugged. She hadn't really thought about it that much.

"I guess if I have to choose...a girl," she replied. "I don't care either way, but Travis wants a girl so, fingers crossed," Madelaine said. Lili grabbed her hand as a token of motherly support.

"I told her yesterday that just seeing her with Daisy told me she was going to be a great mom. She is so caring, and sweet, and not afraid of a diaper which is better than Cole. Let's just hope Travis isn't afraid of a diaper, either. Because coming from someone who has changed every single diaper for the past 6 months, it sucks to be the only one," Lili advised. Madelaine nodded, soaking in the advice.

"Do you plan on breastfeeding?" Mädchen asked. Madelaine nodded.

"For as long as I can," she smiled. "I'm not opposed to formula feeding because I'm a total for fed is best, but Travis almost threw a fit when I told him that," Madelaine elaborated.

"Well, the best tip I can give is to not freak out if your milk supply stops. It's common and there are a lot of remedies that can bring it right back up," Mädchen said. Madelaine made a mental note of that, because she knew that there would be a lot of things she had to learn and creating a bank in her head now was probably a good idea.

"How did you find out?" Nathalie asked. "When I was pregnant I didn't even need a test, I basically knew," she shared.

"Well, I passed out in Vanessa and I's apartment from dehydration and in the ER, they told Vanessa that it was common for pregnant woman to come in for things like that and V told me that," Madelaine said. Nathalie was about to say something when Cole and KJ ran up the group with their phones in the air.

"Did you see? We got the email! Riverdale is done! They are canceling the show," Cole said. The ladies looked between each other confusedly. Madelaine quickly pulled out her phone and opened the first email from the studio. Right there, clear as day, was a mass email to cast and crew that the production was to cease immediately and that there would be no more filming until further notice or possibly indefinitely. Lili started to cry on Coles shoulder. KJ immediately pulled Camila into his arms. But, Madelaine pushed out of the group and immediately ran to her trailer. She could feel herself getting stressed out with every step she took. After locking the door, Madelaine sat on the couch and dropped her head in her hands.

"Hey, Siri. Call Travis," Madelaine commanded. The phone did as it was told and Madelaine picked up her cellular device. After placing it on speaker, Madelaine watched a few tears drip onto the screen.

"Hey, baby. I thought you were filming," Travis said. Madelaine let out a small sob, before taking a shaky breath. "Madelaine, what's wrong? Are you okay? Is it the baby?" Travis panicked.

"No, fetus is fine. T-the studio cancelled the show. There is no fifth season. It's over," Madelaine wept. Travis took a deep breath.

"Oh baby. I'm sorry. You want to come home early? I can switch your flights if you want?" Travis asked. Madelaine's head told her to stay and figure out her next move. But, her heart told her to go home, focus on her child and her channel and see what happens.

"Yeah. I just want to curl up in bed with you and Fig," she whimpered. A knock on the actresses door caused her to hang up with her boyfriend and reluctantly answer. To her surprise, Madelaine's guest was her tv mother, Nathalie. Madelaine wiped her tears and sniffled a bit. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Madelaine asked. Nathalie closed the door behind herself and lead Mads to the couch.

"Are you okay? You ran off pretty fast," Nathalie gently asked. Madelaine pushed her hair into a bun and nodded.

"Uh, yeah. I've just been super emotional lately. And while I'm sad the show is over, I'm actually relieved. Sorry if that sounds bad," Madelaine apologized. Nathalie shook her head.

"Nonsense. There are not many people that look forward to shooting while pregnant. I was ecstatic when I found out that I was going to have a TV free, stress free pregnancy. You deserve a happy and healthy pregnancy. And without this show, no matter how amazing it was, you'll get that. I can see you getting stressed right now and that's not what we want for you or baby," Nathalie said. Madelaine nodded and tried to calm down with tears streaming down her face.

"Thank you. I'm going to miss you," Madelaine sighed as she and Nathalie went in for one last hug. The warmth radiated between the two for a second before they pulled away and Nathalie disappeared out of the trailer. Madelaine stared at Cheryl Blossom one last time in the mirror. "Stay awesome, Blossom," she whispered before taking off her makeup and changing back into her black leggings and grey tube top. She grabbed her yellow puffy jacket and immediately headed to her car. After, settling into her seat for a second, the actress FaceTimed her man.  Sadly, it went to voicemail which is understandable, because Travis was most likely back in the studio.

"Don't worry about getting me a flight. I'm on my way to the airport. I'll see you soon. Love you," Madelaine said, before hanging up. She was about to pull out when she got a call from Lili. "Hello?" She answered.

"Are you still here? Please tell me you are," Lili begged. Madelaine put her Audi in park and nodded.

"Yeah, I was about to pull off, why?" Madelaine asked. She heard Lili heavily sigh in relief.

"Because I was hoping you would take me to the airport. Cole isn't leaving until Thursday like he had planned and I don't want to wait that long to get Daisy home," Lili said. Madelaine nodded.

"Yeah. I was headed there anyways. I'm in my car ready when you are," Madelaine agreed.

"Thank you so much. I'll see you out there," Lili graciously thanked.

"Of course," Madelaine replied. She hung up and stared at her lock screen. It was a picture of Travis kissing her stomach with the ultrasound covering his lips and part of her stomach. That was one of the few photos they took in order to announce Baby Mills' arrival to their family. It was simple but adorable and she was ready for that. Simple. Her life was anything but, and she saw all the press they were going to have to do to explain to fans, but she was ready.

"Hey," Lili smiled, strapping in Daisy's car seat. Madelaine looked back at how natural mom life was for Lili. "Thanks again. It'll be so much easier to get Daisy back on her schedule at home," Lili smiled, before shutting the back door and getting in the front.

"Are you ready?" Madelaine asked. Lili placed the diaper bag at her feet and put her seat belt on.

"Yep. I'm gonna miss this place, but at least we can live normally for a little while, while everything is sorted," Lili optimistically spoke. Madelaine nodded.

"I feel it," she said, before hitting the radio and starting towards the airport. A chapter of her life felt like it was coming to a close. Little did she know, a new chapter had flown wide open.
