Really? Cause I Feel Great!

5:10 pulled around as all the Petsch/Mills Family piled into Timothy's truck and headed to the next town over to Michelle's sister's house. Once at the huge farm house, everyone got out of the car and walked towards the party. Madelaine had on a black semi-turtle neck body suit with light washed boyfriend jeans and black suede booties. With the black her bump was not noticeable unless sought after, so only anyone who knew and saw her very often would even notice. "Are we telling your family? Or keeping this on the low?" Travis asked. Before Madelaine could even think of an answer, her came Michelle running into the house as if she was on fire.

"Guess what guys! Madelaine and Travis are engaged and pregnant!" She announced. Travis turned around with a quickness and Madelaine looked past him towards the swarm of aunts that had surrounded her mother at the door step.

"Unbelievable," Madelaine whispered. She grabbed Travis' wrist and pulled him through the house and to the back yard where the real party was.

"Madelaine! Your mom said you were pregnant! Congratulations!" Madelaine's Aunt Jocelyn said. Travis scratched his head and looked at the house and the backyard, trying to calculate how word travelled that fast.

"Yep, thank you," Madelaine faked. She hadn't really planned on telling her extended family just yet, but her mom had other plans. Madelaine understood her mother's excitement because this is the first baby of the next generation, but she also wanted to scream 'lady pump your breaks!'. She couldn't do that though, because she wanted her mother to be happy and she was trying to be a good daughter.

"How far along are you? And when are you due?" Aunt Jocelyn asked. Madelaine folded her arms around her waist, knowing that this question was going to consume the rest of her conversations for the day.

"I'm 11 weeks and due in March," Madelaine answered. Her aunt smiled and ran off to tell the nearest family member.

"Mads! You're getting married?" The redhead's uncle yelled from across the lawn at the grill. He took off his hat and walked towards them with stride in his step.

"Yeah, we are getting married," Madelaine replied. Uncle Donnie looked Travis up and down, then turned more towards Madelaine and pulled her towards the table not even six feet away.

"You wanna marry this guy?" He skeptically asked. Madelaine had never seen her family so disapproving in her life.

"Well, I mean, I am having his baby and we have been together for three years," Madelaine defended herself. Donnie shook his head.

"If that's what you want. I've got this great vegan caterer who does all kinds of events. I can get a discount for the baby shower and wedding," Madelaine slowly nodded her head as she backed away. "I'll leave the number with your mom," he said. Madelaine picked up her pace and turned before almost running into her great-grandmother Dottie.

"Dottie, Hi. I didn't see you there," Madelaine said. The elderly woman looked Madelaine up and down with a slow head shake.

"Are you sure this is what you want? I mean you're so young," Dottie said. Madelaine took a deep breath and grabbed onto Travis's hand for moral support.

"This wasn't exactly planned, but Dottie I'm 25. I'm not actually a teenager. I just play one on TV," Madelaine clarified. Dottie looked at her with the most un-phased expression.

"I just don't feel like this is the right timing," Dottie said. Madelaine held up her hand and shook her head.

"I'm gonna stop you right there. You don't feel like this is the right timing? Really? Cause I feel great!" Madelaine started. Travis tried to pull her back a bit, but only got slapped in the chest.

"Mads," he tried once more.

"No, Travis! Everyone has an opinion, but no one is trying to hand over any money for this baby or this wedding. It's bad enough I have to deal with this from the internet, but now I have to deal with it from my family?" Madelaine freaked. Travis pulled Madelaine into a secluded part of the garden, far enough away from everyone to just vent. "Dude, I need to go lay down before these people stress me the fuck out," Madelaine said. She ran her hands through her hair before placing them on her temple.

"Baby, don't let them get to you. They are just concerned," Travis said, trying to see the brighter side in things. Madelaine places her hand son her hips out of frustration and to keep from really hitting Travis.

"They act like you're a drug addicted felon and like I'm a 16 year old child. It's honestly annoying. For real though, I'm going to lay down. I can feel my blood pressure rising and I'm not about to loose this baby, over their trivial shit," Madelaine said. Travis tried to pull Madelaine into his arms, but she pushed off of him and sped walked into the house and found an empty spare bedroom to calm down in.

Fifteen minutes later, Madelaine came down the stairs to see Travis on the couch with Shaun playing video games. All the adults were outside, with Travis, Shaun, and their cousins Hailey and Nina. Madelaine decided it was okay to come down and took a seat next to Travis. "Look who's back," Hailey said. Madelaine fakes a smile and put her hair into a messy bun.

"I would've have been down here sooner if I wasn't so damn frustrated with your parents," she laughed. Hailey nodded and shrugged.

"Understandable," Hailey giggled. "Did they tell you about that vegan caterer?" Hailey asked. Madelaine nodded. "It's Carter's business, don't do it. His food is shit," Hailey laughed, causing everyone else to laugh.

"Bro, where is Carter?" Shaun asked. Nina rolled her eyes and pulled out her phone to show them pictures.

"He's in South Africa. Kaia took him down there to see everything she's doing in down at Dottie's house. They are supposed to fix it up to sell, but Kungawo doesn't want to sell, so right now they are just fixing it up," Nina said referring to their great grandfather. Madelaine looked at her younger cousin weird.

"You mean Jaiwo?" She asked referring to her grandfather. Nina shook her head. "Isn't Kungawo dead? That's what Dottie said," She asked totally confused. Nina and Hailey started to laugh hysterically at Madelaine's confusion.

"Bitch, what the fuck?" Hailey squealed in a high pitched voice through her laughter. "No. That's Gala. Gala died. Dottie just likes to tell people they are both dead," Hailey explained. Travis looked completely lost.

"Wait, I know you explained this, but Gala is Kungawo's brother right?" Travis asked. Madelaine nodded.

"Yes. Kungawo and Gala married Dottie and Margaret who were sisters. Shaun and I's mom and Kaia's mom came from Dottie, while Hailey, Carter, and Nina's dad came from Margaret," Madelaine explained once again. Travis nodded and went back to playing Fortnite.

"That's still crazy to me," Travis said.

"Yep, and now Madelaine and Travis are having the first baby of the third cousins! And getting married," Nina smiled. Madelaine nodded and slid under Travis's arm and placed her head on his chest.

"You guys are so cute, your baby is going to be adorable. So! where are we thinking for the wedding?" Nina subject hopped. Madelaine shrugged and bit the inside of her cheek. With everything going on with the show and the baby, she and Travis hadn't really sat down to talk about the wedding.

"Can I make a suggestion?" Hailey asked. Madelaine nodded.

"Always," Madelaine replied.

"Say you have a destination wedding. Have you ever thought of Hawaii?" The blonde asked. Madelaine looked up at Travis.

"I'm not opposed. What about you baby?" The actress smiled.

"When we get home we can look into it," Travis agreed. Madelaine clapped her hands and snuggled into Travis.

"Damn, Mads are you comfortable?" Hailey asked. Madelaine nodded with a smile.

"The baby is making me so tired. I literally just took a nap and now I'm exhausted. And on top of that I want to eat, but my stomach is so nauseous," Madelaine explained. Hailey grimaced and faked a gag.

"See this is why I couldn't be pregnant. My tired activity is to eat and if I can't do one, I can't do the other," Hailey joked. Madelaine parented to be annoyed and giggled.

"I know! I ate fruit this morning and I was disgusted. It's saddening," Madelaine said. She couldn't wait for the morning sickness and fatigue to be over. She was finally able to keep things down, now she was ready have her energy back. She wanted to go to the gym and be awake long enough to mess around with Travis or hang out with her friends, but everything seemed like a huge task that she couldn't fully do.
