Madelaine sat crisscrossed in the middle of the her bedroom on the floor in major pain. Her back was killing her and since her pregnancy became visible, the added pressure of the bump was weighing on her. She was in a sports bra and Nike shorts with the balcony open to let in more air, because on top of being in pain she was burning up. The mother to be ran her hands along the sides of her belly as she impatiently waited for Travis to get home from the studio. "Oh my gosh, where is your daddy?" Madelaine asked. She had never felt a pain like round ligs in her life. Her sides were on fire and her back felt like it was being pulled. Tears started to flow as the pain became more intense.

"Mads?" Taylor yelled as she came up the stairs. Madelaine couldn't even bring herself to talk with the amount of pain that washed over her. When, Taylor hit the room, she dropped the shopping bags at the door and ran to her best friends side. "Hey, are you okay?" Taylor asked. Madelaine shook her head and leaned back on her hands.

"No one told me that my back was going to try to kill me," Madelaine said. "I want nothing more than to take a hot bath, but I can't," she whined. Taylor sat next to Madelaine and allowed her boss to lean against her.

"Why can't you?" She asked. Madelaine pushed her hair behind her and sighed.

"The baby can't control its body temperature, so I can't raise it, because they can't bring it down," Madelaine replied. Taylor nodded and took a deep breath.

"Okay, well is this a bad time to tell you that there will be interviewers at festival and that they want to talk to both you and Travis?" Taylor asked. Madelaine shook her head.

"No, distract me. Did they say what about?" She asked. Taylor shook her head.

"Not really. But I'm guessing it will have something to do with the baby and wedding," Taylor said. Madelaine shrugged and started to get up with Taylor.

"What are in the bags?" Madelaine asked. Taylor quickly ran up to them and pushed them out of the room with her foot.

"Nope. They are the goodie bags for your gender reveal. You can't see them until the party tonight. And where is the envelope from the doctor?" She said not seeing it on the dresser.

"Vanessa came by and took it to the bakery to get the cake. I didn't look I swear," she said. Madelaine originally was supposed to have her appointment on that Monday, but the doctor pushed her up to that Friday because she had an opening. After the appointment Taylor had been sitting on the gender for two days in preparation for the dinner and the festival.

"Alright bitch! It's 4:30 time to get dressed and ready! Dinner/ finding out the gender is in two hours," Taylor announced. Madelaine nodded and grabbed the red body con dress, the same dress she wore in the first episode of Riverdale during the after party scene, and headed to the bathroom. Since it the dress was made with an elastic material, Madelaine fit in with no issues. Her bump was on display, while her butt and vagina were not. It was long enough for Travis's approval and short enough for her to still be a MILF. She threw her hair into a slick back pony and did her makeup with a signature red lip. "And that only took three hours," Taylor exaggerated. She was wearing a royal blue deep V neck jumpsuit and black heels. 

"Oh shut up," Madelaine giggled as she grabbed her red bottoms and headed to the front door. As she got down the stars, Travis was walking in wearing royal blue skinny pants, a white t-shirt, and royal blue suit jacket undone. "Wow, you're looking extremely DILFy today," Madelaine complimented. Travis kissed her cheek and let Fig off his leash.

"Thank you, baby. Go wait in the car while I finish up some last minute things with Taylor," Travis said. Madelaine nodded and put her shoes on before heading out to Travis's car. Once out of the house, Travis sprinted up the stairs to see Taylor in the same room as before.

"Why today? It's your baby's gender reveal. This can wait," Taylor said. Travis blew her off and took off his jacket and shirt.

"Are you sure?" He asked. Taylor shook her head and rolled her eyes, before grabbed some equipment from the storage draws hidden in the closet.

"Be quick, but gentle," Taylor said. Travis nodded a went to town.

Ten minutes later, Travis and Taylor came out of the house with the bags. Travis set the bags in the trunk of Taylor's car, then hopped in the drivers side of his own. "Woah dude!" Madelaine grimaced. "Did you out on some more cologne?" She asked, rolling down the window.

"Yeah," Travis nodded. "I hit the blunt before we left and I needed to freshen up," He lied. Madelaine rolled her eyes and sighed.

"You can't smoke in the house with the baby here, you know that right?" Madelaine asked. Travis nodded and grabbed her hand.

"Yeah baby. This was the last time I swear," he said as he pulled Madelaine's hand to his mouth and kissed it. "I love you, baby," he smiled.

"I love you, too," she smiled. Travis let go of Madelaine's hand and let it travel to her bump where it stayed until they got to the venue.

At promptly 6:30 Travis and Madelaine walked into their gender reveal party to see everyone in either red or royal blue. There was dim red lighting with royal blue fairy lights, but still bright enough for everyone to see just fine. Everyone cheered as the parents-to-be came in hand-in-hand. Cami, Vanessa, and Lili quickly came up to Madelaine as Travis drifted towards Skeet and Cole. "Damn! Cheryl Blossom Vibes today," Cami said. The women laughed and made their way to the table of honor. On the far wall there was the 'Twinkle,Twinkle' themed cake with the words 'Can't Wait To Meet Baby...' projected on the wall in black. 

"Oh my gosh, this is amazing. Everything looks great," Madelaine gushed. "I see most of us are Team girl with the exception of Vanessa," she said. Vanessa shrugged.

"I changed my mind, I want a God-son. However, I'm impartial because I already know," Vanessa said. Madelaine gasped.

"How many people already know?" She laughed. Vanessa shrugged. "Ugh, so not fair! It's my baby," she joked. Lili and Camila laughed at Madelaine's fake hissy fit.

"I know the feeling. Cami and Cole knew for a week before our party. It's agonizing, but you only have an hour left," Lili said. Madelaine nodded and watched Taylor take the attention and direct it towards the food and first little game.

Ten minutes into the third game Madelaine felt a tap on her shoulder as she came back from the bathroom. She turned to see Nathalie standing there with a small smile. "Hey! Thanks for coming!" Madelaine said.

"Of course," Nathalie replied. "Mads, can we talk for a second?" She asked. Madelaine nodded and walked outside to the fire pit area and sat on the couch with her TV mom. "So, I noticed that you family wasn't here," she said.

"Oh, yeah," Madelaine sighed. "Half of my family was for all of this and the other wasn't. And my grandmother wasn't, so everyone just flicked to her opinion. It's fine though," Madelaine said. She tried to look away to keep from getting tearful. She never expected for her mom and dad not to come. Even her brother got shamed into not showing. Nathalie wrapped her arm around Madelaine's shoulder as they stared at the fire.

"Sometimes as parent, we want so much for our kids to go on the straight and narrow that we forget how curt and bumpy that road can get. And grandparents can be even worse," Nathalie started, "Way back when I had first got married I let my mother dictate what I should've done in my relationship. I had only been married for maybe six weeks when we found out we were pregnant. But, my mother felt that wouldn't look good in the media and all this stuff, so she forced me to get an abortion," Nathalie revealed. Madelaine looked up at the actress in shock. "I know, I was your age still letting my mother decide for me and it killed my child," she whispered. Madelaine placed her hand on her bump as fetus started moving around.

"Nathalie, how did you get her stop and listen to you?" The soon-to-be mommy asked. Nathalie placed her hand over Madelaine's and slowly shook her head.

"I didn't get the chance to when I was strong enough to. But when she died, so did that thirty year strong hold. Don't wait that long. Don't let your mother or your grandmother dictate your life. If they don't want to be apart of this beautiful child's life because of her that's on them, but don't you let that effect your motherhood," Nathalie said as Madelaine wipes a few free falling tears. "Be better than them. Teach this baby, guide this baby, but don't dictate this baby. You have a blank canvas arriving that needs the love and attention only you and Travis can provide. And once they see how great of a mother you are, they either change their minds or run for the hills. They underestimate you now, but soon they'll know," Nathalie encouraged. Madelaine could only nod, because her tears were choking her up. Plus, there wasn't really anything she could say. Nathalie was right. Even though it was her family, Travis and this baby were her new family and she had to do what was best for them. Even if her family didn't approve.

After cleaning herself up, Madelaine headed back to her table right on time to be called to the cake table with Travis. "Alright. On the count of three will you please do the honors," Taylor said in the mic. This was the moment of truth for the happy couple. Tobias Tatum or Melina Geneva? "One!" "Two" "Three!" Taylor screamed. She had the remote in her hand to change to the next slide after the cake was cut. Madelaine and Travis sliced into the bottom tier of the cake and pulled out the piece. It had blue icing and pink cake.

"Wait, what?" Madelaine said with a smile. Travis started laughing as everyone waiting in anticipation for the name to show on the screen. Taylor hit the button and watched Madelaine turn to see that both names were on the screen.

"We're having twins, baby!" Travis said. Madelaine was in shock. Travis hugged her as Taylor took the knife from Madelaine's hands.

"Why didn't the doctor tell me about twins?" She asked. Travis picked her lips and pulled away.

"The second baby didn't show up until the anatomy scan and since you didn't want to know the gender I kept the twin thing a secret, too," Travis proudly smiled. Taylor hugged Madelaine as everyone made their way to congratulate them.

"You knew?" Madelaine asked. Taylor nodded and started to pass out cake as everyone swarmed around the table.

"Twins?" Vanessa said. Madelaine shrugged with a smile as Vanessa, Lili, and Cami hugged her.

"That's so exciting!" Camila gushed. Madelaine giggled, and placed her hands on bump. A dull pain started to appear and she knew what was coming. Quickly, Madelaine grabbed Travis's arm and pulled him outside.

"What's wrong, baby?" He asked as she sat down holding her stomach. It was hard and very uncomfortable.

"Something doesn't feel right," Madelaine said. Travis rushed his hands to her stomach and looked at her weird. "Go get someone. Nathalie, Marisol, Lili, someone!" Madelaine rushed. Travis nodded and speed walked over to the first person he saw.

"Madelaine, what's going on?" Marisol asked as she rushed to Madelaine's side. Madelaine was still rubbing the sides of her stomach.

"Something doesn't feel right. Thus pain doesn't feel like the normal pain," Madelaine poorly explained. Marisol placed her hands on Madelaine's stomach to feel that it was rock solid.

"Mads, you're having a contraction. Travis go call your doctor tell them to meet you at the hospital," Marisol said. Madelaine's eyes went wide as she went into panic mode. Travis quickly pulled out did phone and dialed Arizona number.

"I can't be having a contraction! I'm only 17 weeks," Madelaine freaked. Marisol placed her hands on Madelaine's forearms.

"Mija, take a deep breath. Don't get worked up, these things happen. We just can't have your water breaking or any bleeding. Have either of those things happened? And how long has this been going on?" Marisol asked. Madelaine shook her head.

"No and maybe an hour," she replied. Marisol saw that Madelaine was shaking and becoming very flushed.

"Hey, let's get you to the car," Marisol said. Madelaine nodded and got up. The two made their way into the building as everyone watched in confusion. Vanessa pushed through everyone and walked with Madelaine.

"Mads, what's going on?" Vanessa asked, scared for her friend.

"Uh, I'm contracting, so we have to go to the hospital to make sure these babies stay in," Madelaine whispered in hopes not to alarm anyone. Vanessa quickly grabbed she and Madelaine's clutches from the table and ran back to her bestie.

"I'm coming with you," Vanessa said. Marisol helped Madelaine into the car as Vanessa hopped in the back and Travis got in the front.

"Nope. Vanessa switch with Travis. We need you all to get there safely and Travis is just as shaken up," Marisol said. Vanessa and Travis quickly swapped places and started the Audi. Madelaine held onto the door as the next contraction came much stronger than the last.

"Come on guys, work with mommy," Madelaine whispered as the trio made their way to the hospital.
