Sunday morning rolled around quickly for Madelaine and Vanessa. Travis was finally able to come up for the weekend and Madelaine choose that weekend to schedule her first doctor's appointment.

Madelaine stood by the bed as Travis took his sweet time getting ready. "Come on! My appointment is literally in twenty minutes!" Madelaine yelled. She hadn't told him why they were going, because she wanted to surprise him.

"Alright let's go make sure my baby is okay," Travis shrugged and grabbed his jacket. Madelaine grabbed the vlog camera and turned it on.

"Hey, guys! It's Madelaine! I play Cheryl Blossom on CW's Riverdale and I have a YouTube channel and your watching it so go ahead and subscribe!" Madelaine said, completing her intro. "Today, Travis is here with me in Vancouver to go to my doctor's appointment. Now, I haven't told him why we are going because I want to get his reaction. So, let's go!" She smiled. Travis looked at her weird but shrugged and followed her past Vanessa's empty room and out of the apartment.

At the appointment, Madelaine sat on the table as Travis sat in the chair next to her. "Hello, Madelaine. I'm doctor Robbins. I'll be your OB for the time being," the blonde woman smiled. Travis looked at Madelaine with confusion, making her tune on the camera and point it at him.

"Okay awesome," the redhead smiled. "Travis where are we?" She smirked.

"I thought we were just at the doctors, but she said she was your OB," Travis said. His eyes said that he knew, but his face was unsure. However, Madelaine was getting excited at the thought of hearing her baby's heartbeat. "Wait, what?" He asked with a chuckle.

"Travis, what does OB stand for?" Madelaine egged on. Travis smirked at her.

"Obstetrician. Are wait you? Wait, what?" He said standing up and basically tackling Madelaine.

"Yep, you're gonna be a, as Camila would say, daddy," she announced. Dr. Robbins couldn't help but smile. She had never had someone tell the father that they were pregnant at the first appointment and it was sweet. Madelaine lightly pushed Travis and turned off the camera.

"That was sweet and now that we all know what is going on, do you have any questions before we begin?" Dr. Robbins asked. Travis raised his hand as if they were in a classroom. "Yes," She said.

"My name is Travis! I'm the father! Yeah, so my buddy, Cole read that if you do an ultrasound that the baby will get scared of its heartbeat! Is that true?" He asked in a kiddy voice. Madelaine facepalmed and shook her head.

"Ignore him. This is our first baby and he's being weird! Our friends Lili and Cole has a baby recently and the guys have been chatting," she giggled. Arizona matched her reaction and nodded.

"I love first-time dads! But, mom how are you feeling? Any sickness, tiredness, pains?" She asked. Madelaine nodded.

"Yeah. I've been really sick at night time closer to when I go to sleep and I've been having cramps every now and then," She answered. Arizona nodded and handed Madelaine a cover-up.

"Alright, well I'll be back in a little bit. You can go ahead and change into this," Arizona said. Madelaine nodded and hopped off the table. Five minutes later, Arizona came back with a machine that Travis had never seen in his life. "Okay, mama lay back. We are going to do a quick pelvic exam, do some blood work, and then see your baby," Arizona planned. Madelaine did as she was told, but when she looked over Travis had the camera pointed at her.

"Right now? Really?" Madelaine asked. Travis nodded. "No! You're not on camera duty. Turn it off!" She demanded. Travis chuckled and turned the camera off. He quietly watched as Arizona did her job and anxiously waited for the ultrasound to start.

Arizona took off her gloves and pulled the machine from the corner of the room. "Now that I've poked and prodded you for the past fifteen minutes, we can finally get to the fun part," Arizona smiled. Madelaine came behind the screen with her pants on again and flashed a huge smile.

"Are we doing just a heartbeat or are we gonna see the baby too?" Madelaine asked as she sat back down and rolled up her shirt.

"Both. You look like your measuring a little bit ahead of 9 weeks, so we're going to get some pictures for your families and see what's going on with the little one," Dr. Robbins answered. Madelaine nodded and watched the doctor put the gel on her stomach and lower abdomen. Travis could see that Madelaine was putting a brave face on, but was actually really nervous, so he hopped up and grabbed her hand.

"Smile, this is great!" He whispered. As soon as Arizona found a heartbeat Madelaine started to tear up.

"There is the baby! Fetus looks good and healthy. Congrats guys," Dr. Robbins kindly said. Madelaine wiped her tears and watched her doctor take some photos. After the captures had been printed, Arizona wiped off the machine and Madelaine's torso. "We are all finished here. I will see you guys next month. But until then, no drinking, no smoking, and limited fish!" The doctor warned. Madelaine nodded and sat up.

"How are you feeling, Travis?" Madelaine asked. Travis kissed her forehead and thought about how his proposal couldn't have come at a better time. After seeing his baby he knew for certain that his decision was right.

"I'm excited, baby. I am," he gushed. The musician helped his girlfriend off the table and grabbed the papers Arizona left for them.

"Lunch time!" Madeleine squealed. They walked out of the practice and into the fast-paced Vancouver streets.

Back at the apartment, Madelaine laid on the bed resting when her bedroom door slammed open and in came Vanessa. Madelaine quickly sat up, making herself nauseous, and groaned. "Can I help you?" Madelaine said in a groggy voice that scared her a little.

"Yeah! We need to go get tea and catch up! I know you saw a doctor today and I got you a present," Vanessa replied. Madelaine shook her head and laid back on the bed.

"I don't feel good enough to go anywhere," Madelaine whined. Vanessa shrugged and pulled on the redhead's arm.

"I don't care! Let's go!" Vanessa rushed. Madelaine pulled her arm back and slid off the bed.

"Fine. But only because I'm bored without Travis. He got called back early and left thirty minutes ago," Madelaine agreed. Vanessa giggled and led her friend to the parking garage. The found Vanessa's Tesla and in. Before the best friends made their way towards the café, Madelaine became impatient and anxious about the alleged gift. "You said you had a present for me?" Madelaine said. Vanessa nodded and started her engine.

"It's in the bag on the backseat," she said. Madeleine quickly looked back and grabbed the logo-less bag. "I know we don't know the sex of the baby yet, but I couldn't resist," Vanessa gushed as Madeleine opened the box to see an adorable outfit for a 0-3 months old little girl.

"V! This is amazing. I hope it's a girl just so we can put her in this! And it works out because she's due in March!" Madeleine said.

"How did your parents take the news? I bet they were excited," Vanessa assumed. Madelaine put the box back and shrugged. While she was getting even more excited for the baby, she still hadn't told her family yet. And since she so small she was going to start showing soon. However, she wasn't too worried about it, forgetting that media finds out about everything and would break the story as soon as they caught wind of her situation.

"I'm waiting until we know the gender to tell them. I want to tell them everything about this baby, so they can get all their excitement out at once," she said. Vanessa nodded and watched the road as Madeleine played with her stomach.

"How did Travis take the news?" Vanessa asked as she pulled into the busy streets. It was only 2 o'clock, so there weren't that many people out. and Madelaine was relieved because she had on a tank top that clung to her tiny bump.

"He was so excited and I caught it on video for the My Pregnancy/ Gender Reveal video I've started working on," she answered. Vanessa poked out her lip and gushed.

"That's so cute! I knew he would be excited. I bet he's gonna go home and tell all of his friends," Vanessa giggled. Madelaine shook her head with a grin.

"Dude, we were leaving and Travis was on the phone with Davis. And not even ten minutes later I was getting congratulation texts from Swae. Travis wasted no time. I, on the contrary, still haven't told Lili and Cami" Madelaine said. Vanessa started to laugh even harder.

"Text them! Tell them to meet us at the café. We can tell them and then we can talk about your baby shower. Regardless of the gender, I was thinking definitely a red theme," Vanessa giggled. Madelaine agreed and sent a message to the group of four. The message popped up on the screen of Vanessa's Tesla and it read 'Meet at the Corner Café. It's URGENT!' which cracked Vanessa up. "Seriously?" she fake scolded. Madelaine shrugged with a laugh.
