"and Cat Noir decided to have a talk with her parents."

*Cat Noir's POV*

After jumping from roof to roof, I finally got to the Dupain-Cheng bakery. I had to brace myself for the warmth and amazing smell from the bakery. I kept telling myself why I was here. 'Find out what made Marinette so sad' As I entered the bakery I saw Tom but I had to act professionally since he doesnt know his daughters boyfriend is Cat Noir let alone his daughter be Ladybug!

"Oh my god! Sabine get down here! Cat Noir is here!!!!!" Tom was fangirling. HARD. But I couldn't burstoutlaughing or do anything to expose my identity. 'Why is Mari so upset' I had to keep reminding myself.

Shortly after Tom's fangirling session, Sabine came and I had to greet them because I wasn't a monster! I was still a Human!! So I greeted them and then asked to come inside to speak with them. I had to look like I haven't seen the place before since I was as Cat Noir (I was there once before when Tom got Akumatized)

"So Cat Noir is everything alright?" Sabine was concerned since the superhero only came in emergencies. (Hunger and superhero related, I get hungry ok!)

"No, your daughter Marinette was pretty upset as she was on the street crying hysterically. I really don't want her to get Akumatized since she was my friend and I couldn't be able to bring myself to fight her. So I want to know if anything might have happened this morning to upset her. As you  guys know, negative emotions attract akuma's. So did anything happen this morning?" I said trying to get to the bottom of my girlfriends suffering and despair.

Tom was silent knowing exactly what had happened this morning. But I picked up on this hint and turned to Sabine with a look saying 'I know something happened so tell me' I just couldn't get through to them! I have had enough. So in frustration I lost my cool and shouted out "If you guys wont tell me then I guess I have to figure it out from Hawkmoth himself! Since he would have feasted off of her already!"

After that, Sabine got up from her chair and was on the verge of crying. 

"No! Not my baby girl! Cat Noir please! Don't let Hawkmoth touch my baby girl!" the concerned mother started raising her voice in despair.

"Well ma'am, with all due respect. I cant help you guys until you tell me what happened!" Tom still had a straight face while saying nothing at all. Sabine looked at him and if looks could kill, he would have died a very quick death as she glared daggers at him. 

Sabine (as well as me) was getting fed up. She couldn't bear the thought of that monster getting his Akuma hands on her daughter, so she spoke up.

"Well there was something that happened this morning." She looked ashamed as she tried holding tears back while explaining the story.

"Tom had lashed out and said that if she wasn't going to take over the bakery then she would be a disgrace to the family name." the mother had failed to not cry. As she was balling her eyes out, Cat Noir gave her a hug and told her everything would be alright.

"Thank you for telling me what happened. Now we can prevent any attacks before Hawkmoth takes action!"

And with that, he left the bakery and rushed back home to rescue his damsel in distress.

*Meanwhile at Adrien's house/ Marinette's POV*

My head was hurting from crying so much and I couldn't see straight. It was after I woke up that i realized tikki was exhausted which meant she had turned into and out of ladybug. She felt bad for her best friend/kwami. And after she gave the kwami her sympathy, she realized she was in Adriens bedroom, in his bed! 

'what happened?' the exhausted teen thought. Short after she was trying to piece the puzzles together, Tikki woke up and said "Oh Marinette! You're awake!"

"Tikki? What happened and why am I in Adrien's bed?" the teen was so confused as to what happened.

"Well I woke you up-" She was cut off by Marinette "Yeah I remember my dad calling me a disgrace but how did I end up at Adrien's house? Let alone his bed!"

Tikki reassured the flustered Marinette. "Don't worry Mari, nothing happened!" The kwami let out a giggle as Marinette let out a relieved sigh. "You were crying for almost 2 hours before transforming and coming to Adrien for comfort. Before he could actually comfort you or you could tell him what was wrong, you fell asleep in his arms! I guess he made you feel a little too comfy!" The kwami said before giggling again.

Marinette was happy that she was drifted off to sleep by her boyfriend's arms and brace. She let a small smile dance around on her lips. But then she called out for Plagg. And to her surprise, he wasnt there. Neither was Adrien. It then hit her that maybe Adrien was gone but Cat Noir was out. She was still a little bit confused but asked tikki if she had enough energy and the kwami nodded.

Being left with that answer, she transformed and went patrolling not for akuma's, but for her boyfriend and partner!

She then found him leaving the Dupain-Cheng bakery. She was officially pissed off!

Before Cat Noir could get home, Ladybug beat him and detransformed acting as if nothing was wrong when he came in.

"Hey Kitty!" Marinette was excited to see her boyfriend.

"Hello puuuurincess!" He exclaimed after de-transforming.

"So where did you go and why were you not by my side?" the heroine was a great actor and put a look of concern on her face but with determination in her eyes.

"Well M'lady, you showed up at my house and fell asleep before I could get an answer for your crying. So i decided to go to the last place you were to dig deeper. Turns out the Cat's instinct was correct as always!"

"So im guessing you spoke with my parent...." said while losing her concern and letting a frown hang around her lips.

"Was i not supposed to Bugaboo?" He actually felt bad, as if he did something wrong, but he didnt! He was simply making sure he didn't have to fight the love of his life!

"No its ok kitty! I know you were just trying to protect me." she said while getting out of bed.

As she approached her kitty, she reached her hands out to give him a hug and that's exactly what she did. She appreciated her boyfriends concern and gave him a kiss on the cheek to make sure he knew that she loved him and was thankful for his attempt to protect her.

"Thank you kitty"
